I was wondering about Claricebean too. I saw someone posting with the name Claricebean's mum, wasn't sure if it was her or something like that?!

I saw that a while ago - it is possibly the ugliest pushchair I have ever seen - and £849 is fecking ridiculous!!

Greetings all - it's late afternoon here - Danny kept us awake for 4 hours last night so dp's had a nap while I caught up on the thread.

What a horrendous journey Ellie, hope you've had a good time once you arrived.

We have a Maclaren Quest in navy and blue - Mothercare now seems to be selling for £15 less than we paid - £95. Bit more reasonable than the leather. We're also still using the travel system pram, a Britax - I like it when I'm out and about all day but the Maclaren is easier on the bus.

Thinking about waking up dp to go out and look for food, but will mean waking finally napping baby too.

Morning! Have a very grumpy, tired DH in bed and a cute, but annoying squeaky baby too, so have escaped here. Man, so tired!

Morning!
Lol at the ice cream talk also at "I is a fishwife"
DH is also very common in his ice cream tastes. I bought some coop best chocolate with brownie pieces and chocolate swirl, he had a huge bowl then told me he'd rather have a cornetto! He also likes the "feet" ice cream
Went out yesterday to get T some more clothes in 6-9months, got him a new coat and a sleeping bag, then decided to get him a snowsuit. In the end I decided to get him a 9-12months one as he's long and if I got it in the smaller size he'd be growing out of it in January - just when it's getting cold. So I decided just to let him grow into it - bad mummy! DH laughed as it looks like it'll fit him when he's 3!

Morning all

I know it's been a while. Hope you're all doing well. Have only read this thread so not caught up at all.

I've had tonsilitis and have been up and down to North East in last couple of weeks (sick grandparents, a wedding reception for my aunty who eloped) also had my bro who moves to Australia next month and my very stressed mam to stay. A few days of quality George time sorted her out

We had a hospital appointment last Thursday about the scans he's had since his UTI and hospital stay when he was 16 days old. His kidneys are not scarred and his bladder and urethra are healthy (no reflux). The doc discharged him from hospital care but recommended that he keep taking a prophylactic dose of antibiotics until he is one; apparently 80% of scarring on kidneys occurs under 2yrs old. So glad we don't have to go back to hospital and that all is well.

Have found my self-imposed MN ban to be good for me, but I do miss you all so am going to try and "pop-in" every couple of days

Morning leaky - I didn't know you were on a ban, thought you just hadn't been around, sorry if I missed your post.
So pleased G has been discharged - that all sounds really positive. Are you over the tonsilitis?

Now I know I'm biased but I think T is the loveliest looking baby ever and has been since birth, but I've added to my profile the picture the Bounty woman took of him in hospital - she managed to get him looking incredibly ugly and then asked if we wanted to buy it!
I've had to take a picture of it as our scanner's useless but it's clear enough to see how bad it is

Might not have actually come on to say I was on a ban It was a "been away it's done me good to be offline for a few days" situation. Thought I'd see if I could keep it up, coming on to say I wasn't coming on would have probably been too tempting IYSWIM.

Tonsils better, still got a yucky streaming cold and G is snuffly too.

Hmm SPB not his best side. All your other pics are lovely though.

G not looking his best at mo, snotty with one red cheek and a bit of a rash from teething. I still think he's yummy though (rose-tinted mammy-goggles).
