Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
CrowOnTheCradle · 31/10/2007 17:42

A has soooooooooo much hair! She looks like she's enjoys her flying saucer too. Cute cute cute. I like her cheeks, they're all kissable.

juliewoolie · 31/10/2007 17:48

just added my own little halloween monster pictures.

juliewoolie · 31/10/2007 17:51

cam gorgeous pics.

tyg cant believe A still has all that hair, she looks fab.

What is it about those flying saucers A loves his.

MKG · 31/10/2007 18:09

hey all. well life ing the mkg house has settled. things with dh and I are going well. I think the stress of buying and selling a house is getting to us. the boys are great. and will post our trick or treat pictures later.

SorcerersCameroonianApprentice · 31/10/2007 18:51

Hey MKG, that's good news, we look forward to some pics.

Aertex and brown carpets are the new 'black' doncha know SOH, at least they are if you live in the sticks

Julie, A is so damn handsome. And slim. And you opted for the sensible Tesco outfit and not make your child look like a goon like mine, though alllllll the mummies have been swooning over him this afternoon AND SOH every single granny in the shops this morning called him 'he' (phew).

We must meet up on a weekend, I so have to meet your twins LG&T, ds1 would have instant hero worship.

And TYG, look at A go! That's amazing...

I sense a flying saucer thing going on here.

Can't chat for long, got the vicar and his sidekick around to protect us from ghosties for 'baptism chat', bet they stay for ages and I'll have to eat really late...

twelveyeargap · 31/10/2007 18:52

Cripes. You lot don't waste any time! I was just coming on to say I was finished uploading, arranging, captioning etc.

Really pleased to hear that MKG. Phew! You know buying and selling a house is widely known to be MORE stressful than a divorce. If you can get through this next while, then you can get through anything. Looking forward to the pictures.

twelveyeargap · 31/10/2007 18:56

Ooh, I want to kiss all the babies. Why have I never looked at the profiles before? Doh.

Your zebra was cool, by the way Cam.

CrowOnTheCradle · 31/10/2007 19:22

Aww, S and A together. Lovely, really lovely. S looks so in awe of her little sis. How is S btw?

Meant to say earlier, M eats paper too if you leave her unattended for long enough. She crinkles it in her sweaty palm for a bit and then chews it to smithereens. She also likes cellophane wrapping, cables, cutlery and anything else that she isn't supposed to be anywhere near.

She's in bed atm. Not sleeping. I can hear her talking to herself. Apparently 'bem bem agoo bem goo arrrrrrr aieeeaiieea'. Which probably means 'I'm going to fill my nappy in 37 seconds and that'll get 'em back in here'.

twelveyeargap · 31/10/2007 19:27

Hehehe. A loves, LOVES, plastic and cellophane. I really need to watch her on that!

S is really good. When I collected her at the airport on Sunday, A went totally bonkers when she saw her. Trying to jump out of my arms and smiling and waving. It was so, so sweet. I didn't think she'd have missed her, but she obviously had. S was thrilled. She's at a Hallowe'en party at the moment.

anneme · 31/10/2007 19:55

I'll go to Norfolk - we like dinosaurs hear.
Would London be a sensible middle option?
Am getting into this picture thing - have added a couple more - hope they work - let me know.

anneme · 31/10/2007 19:56

here not hear - oops

anneme · 31/10/2007 21:30

A question for all of you who had c/s. Does your scar area still feel a little tender - not sore but as if you would not want to be hit there iyswim. Does it ache if you have been lifting a lot? Is it still a little puffy on one side? Does the scar itch?
OK - that is more than one question....

anneme · 31/10/2007 21:33

Me again - I was sure I had emailed Mars but I don't think i did - is it too late now??

largeginandbloodpunch · 31/10/2007 21:43

Aneme my scar as far as i can remember (was 9 years ago ) was a little tender for about 3 months but not sore. The worst thing was the crazy numb patches i had, still had that after about a year! Get it looked at my a doc my lovely

A is so sweet, i just think she is like a little doll. You look rather fab too especially 2 days post bebe! Course i have seen you in RL too so know you are a stunner. S and A together is lovely, must be lovely for them both.

Im having a G&T anyone interested ????

SorcerersCameroonianApprentice · 31/10/2007 21:50

anneme, I wouldn't want ds1 to kick me or hit me on my scar, I instinctively go to protect it as it is tender if he does manage to hit the mark, but it is neither itchy nor puffy.. could it be infected?

FWIW I just couldn't possibly manage London with 3 dc, it was difficult enough with 2 last week But don't let me stop you from choosing London.

We survived the grilling from the clergy and the trick or treaters, though whenever I asked for a treat (not from the vicar obviously ) the kids just stood and squirmed, they just expected goodies for nothing, pah, the yoof of today.

Its dd's birthday tomorrow, 6 already, where does the time go?

twelveyeargap · 31/10/2007 22:00

Me, yes. LushesRus. I'll have a G&T.

twelveyeargap · 31/10/2007 22:19

Cam, you know I've lived in 8 houses in the last five years, but unfortunately never anywhere as exciting as you!

May 2002 Ireland to Surrey. Then Shoreditch, Clerkenwell, Islington, Tufnell Park, then Islington again briefly, then to here Jan 2007.

SorcerersCameroonianApprentice · 31/10/2007 22:26

TYG we are obviously gypsies at heart Shoreditch was always quite exciting I seem to remember

I had 3 glasses of fizz last night and have felt rough all day pants. No staying power. I say, S, is just a mini you isn't she? A stunner.

juliewoolie · 31/10/2007 22:30

quick question ladies - thinking of giving the dream feed a miss tonight to see what happens. Prob be up in the middle of the night.
But what happens when I stop the dream feed will my supply realise and automatically adjust over the next few days or is it the begining of the end bearing in mind the last boob feed he has is at 5pm.

SorcerersCameroonianApprentice · 31/10/2007 22:37

No not the beginning of the end, you will naturally adjust and can still bf to demand during the day with no probs. If you are like me then the first couple of nights are often quite painful and wet, so I always pop a towel down. Good luck

juliewoolie · 31/10/2007 22:39

Think I can prob beat you on the living different places. But I love it. We nearly moved to Singapore when I was 4 months preggo but decided to stay put for a bit to allow the grandparents to be involved in the monsters life. But we never rule out another overseas move

juliewoolie · 31/10/2007 22:40

thanks cam

anneme · 31/10/2007 23:00

Probably too late for this pm Julie but would it be worth giving last feed a bit later (or do you give a formula one before bed?) I give S his last feed at 7ish and have done for a while - he was not waking up for his dream feed and when I woke him for it he just took ages to settle so i decided to leave it and that was that. With DS1 the first few nights were a little painful but this time my boobs didn't seem to mind so much.

Thanks for comments re cs scars - I think I made it sound more puffy/itchy than it is - I don't think it is infected/. Relieved to hear that you would not want to be hit there either = not that I am that keen on being hit anywhere I may say...

Good point re London Cam - had not really thought that one through!

MarsLady · 31/10/2007 23:43

Anneme his 6.30 bedtime feed is normally formula.
