Morning........

OP posts:
Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 21:16

I posted that once. I bloody did and MN said 'not successful' the first time. Blardy changes.

Humph.

[oldandmiserable]

PS Kellymom is a wonderful resource, even though it is American (sorry MKG).

PPS I've found something I want from France too. Thierry Henri. You can send him second class as am a bit busy at the mo but will squeeze him in early next week. Ta love.

DishyBlonde · 25/10/2007 21:16

Hellooooooooo

Haven't had much time recently, I did write a long one a while back and then the computer went all funny.

Welcome back the lovely scoot and welcome to your new home, glad to see L is keeping you on your toes

And thank goodness SOH is SOH again, I just couldn't keep on calling you 97% it felt like i wasn't giving it my all

Hello to everyone else, I can't keep up..

I am just back from a couple of days in London with dd and J, whilsts ds1 stayed at Granny's house and charmed the pants off them both. We went on a lot of buses, saw the Queen's pad (about the same size as MrsJB's mansion) went to the blasted fabulous Natural History museum and walked for millions of miles. dd was an absolute angel and a joy to spend time with, so interested. My favourite question of hers was 'what do you think the Queen's favourite dish is?'. I got to drink large quantities of wine with my bf and dsis, see my godson for the first time who is almost as enormous as J and remember why I am quite happy to live in the sticks. Bus drivers ...aaaagggghhh. It just takes so blasted long to get anywhere. I don't know how you London girls manage, it was really hard work, but saying that plenty of people helped out with the buggy up and down stairs etc, very thoughtful, I was impressed.

How many people live in London do you think? We walk into Hyde Park, someone shouts my name and lo and behold it is only by exboyf who I haven't seen for 8 years

J like his elder brother charmed everyone he met with his pink cheeks. As ever he was as good as gold, one old lady on the train commented on how sweet they both were and how well behaved [vvvv proud mummy emoticon]He started to cry the minute they stepped off the train and for the first time in my illustrious bf career I felt awkward bf him infront of sooooo many people, mainly men, on the train. One poor guy really didn't know where to put his eyes

J is sleeping beautifully, and now finally rolling over, but like Mae has a red raw botty, which normally means some teeth on the way, but I have been saying that for a while

MrsJB, I hope H is okay, could it be a hernia?

DishyBlonde · 25/10/2007 21:21

If Thierry Henri is going to be in England anyway I am happy to pay for a pay per drop from Norfolk to Somerset when you are finished with him SOH.

Just don't take too long about it.

Hubblebubbletoilandjaffacakes · 25/10/2007 21:23

Cheeky barsteward, I hope you kneed him in his fat balls too, SOH. She is just gorgeous, the pic's of her in her door bouncer and bumbo are delightful, Oh I'm very jealous that lg&t is going to get a squidge of the tank soon. How lovely that you are going to meet, lg&t as wonderful in the flesh as she is on here.

JL, fantastic will wait for your e-mail. I like to keep on top of my debts.

Hubblebubbletoilandjaffacakes · 25/10/2007 21:30

Cam, sounds like a lovely trip.

SOH, I'll post him straight away for you, he lives in our east wing (have I not told you that before) you'll be lucky for next week though on economy post it took 19 days last time iirc. Don't panic though, do you have a clearing nr you, I'll get the helicopter out and fly him over instead, then on to cam for sloppy seconds, ewwwwwwww.

ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 21:32

Cam lovely (change your name back, there's a dear), you can have Thierry post haste. I'll be about 2 days with him, there's some odd jobs round the house I need him to attend to. Aherm.

MrsJB/Moomimin/FSF, thanks for the compliments on SOH, she is rather lovely for a Tank is she not?

I can't wait to meet LG&T either! I'm shy though and will just sit on the beach and blush a lot. She'll be here reporting that I'm dull as a dull thing in real life. I'm the only woman alive in this century to still blush. Honest to God when the dishy SA surgeoun was trying to examine me in hospital to see if he could... er... push M back in and turn her (eww), I kept trying to close my legs and pull the gown down. I'm a prude extraordinaire. And exceedingly boring in real life. LG&T, you have been warned...

Cam, shall I stick a bow on him or will a jiffy bag suffice?

DishyBlonde · 25/10/2007 21:32

I'm not fussy posh bird.

ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 21:33

SOHJr

I thought hernia too maybe btw but am no expert.

ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 21:35

I thought you kept your family jewels in the east wing.

I live in Norfolk, the whole county is a clearing. I live near the field full of cows, the river with the boats on it and there are two gnomes in the garden (Steve and Phil dontcha know). I'm sure your helicopter pilot/manservant will find us. We're over here with the plebians, won't be too much of a shock for him I hope.

Hubblebubbletoilandjaffacakes · 25/10/2007 21:38

Jeasus how did you remember all of them, they were my names and I couldn't remember them. MrsJB is definately the one to stick with surely?

Sorry, I just can't get into the new name thing, it's so hard to remember. To think we all have "real" names too.

Hubblebubbletoilandjaffacakes · 25/10/2007 21:40

Did I say family jewels? (sure I said his family jewels)

Hubblebubbletoilandjaffacakes · 25/10/2007 21:43

hmm I'm not sure, it's a hard lump though, I had a feeling hernia's were sort of soft pushy in and outy sort of thing. We have a dr's appointment demain soir so we'll see what he thinks, it's no bigger today so thats got to be a good thing.

DishyBlonde · 25/10/2007 21:45

"Thierry Henry, No. 14
Profile

The list of superlatives that describe this modern-day champion is gigantic"

ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 21:45

Yeah I know. I have met and now know Indith off board, yet still call her Indith. Bet I'll still call LG&T, LG&T in person. And N will be dh and B will be ds. MN is taking over the world...

I do like MrsJB and that's what I call you when I'm talking about you. Or The Sweet Lady. Or maybe Posh Bird sometimes. I have to say in all the time we've 'known' each other dh still struggles sometimes with who I mean. If I say Cam he looks blankly at me and I have to add 'M's future MIL' and Tam is The Antipodean One (MIA) and TYG is the Special Magic Irish Lady. He's the same with rl people though. He's just crap with names.

DishyBlonde · 25/10/2007 21:48

Wherever is Tam? I do hope she is ok..I can't possibly talk about you all to dh, he still thinks none of you really exist

Hubblebubbletoilandjaffacakes · 25/10/2007 21:50

Off to our quaters now, I'll say good night before the butler closes down for me. Goodnight xxx

DishyBlonde · 25/10/2007 21:53

Sweet dreams, I'm away too.

Juicylucytoo · 25/10/2007 21:59

Is it just me who is stoopid, or are others struggling with this fancy new layout??

Probably just stoopid, sleep deprived me

Can I change my mind Mrs JB and have Thierry Henri instead??

ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 22:01

Me too, dh has rented some god awful epic drama about the crusades so I'm going to eat chocolate and sleep through it.

Cheerio.

x

twelveyeargap · 25/10/2007 22:05

(Probably in more ways than one if we're being honest here.)

Nice to see you back on form SOH.

My baby has gone mad, mad, mad. She's still good, but she screamed blue, bloody murder when I put her to bed tonight. I usually let her fuss and settle down, but she really hit the roof tonight. After a couple of attempts at calming her down and putting her back in the cot, I got fed up and brought her downstairs (I haven't brought her out of her room after bedtime in MONTHS) whilst I watched an episode of Ugly Betty. She lay on the sofa with me and then happily went to bed. Weirdo. Anyway, at least she's gone to sleep happy. We'll try to get back on track tomorrow.

Made the mistake of buying some "Hallowe'en goodies 'for the kids'" at Tesco. Half of them are now in my belly.

Season finale of Grey's Anatomy requires my attention...

ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 22:05

Thierry Henri appartient à moi.

And this new fangled layout is taxing my already poorly brain.

nannyjo · 25/10/2007 22:09

Quick question....how many feeds are yoiur 5months olds having?? Do yu still do a late night feed or have you dropped it. Were waiting till weaning before we drop it and he also only has about 5 oz feeds 7x a day so i worry he needs it but i'm bloody knackered tryin to stay awake for it. I want to got to bed

ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 22:10

TYG, meant to say I hope you're ok, sounding a bit down in the dumps. I understand where you're coming from in terms of lack of motivation. Maybe we should start planning out yurt now? Stop me sitting around in my pjs half the day at least. Nice pjs though. Got monkeys on them. That laying baby down and baby screaming for no apparent reason is the existential crisis my hv refers to. Or in English, the beginning of separation anxiety. Tis the right time for it. She's checking you always come back. When she's 16 and you keep coming back to her bedroom when she's laying on the bed with Greasy Boy she'll be less glad to see you. You mark my words.

Sweet dreams all.

Do you think Thierry Henri cooks too? Obviously he doesn't need to, but it would help. Need to keep my strength up. You know, for planning the yurt.

Juicylucytoo · 25/10/2007 22:11

What side is Greys Anatomy on?? Has DH been hiding it from me?

Hallowe'en Goodies - Luckily DH is still here, so have felt guilty enough not to open the bags

ShowOfHands · 25/10/2007 22:12

nannyjo, I can't answer your question sensibly. My 5mo still feeds every 1-2 hours day and night and I gave up on sensible, reasoned conversation the day she was born.

The rest of the May 07ers have a better grip on reality though so hope they can help and you can get some sleep.

Really am going now.
