@Gigitree was it you asking about "popping a stitch"? Apols if not! Whoever it was, I've not felt any pop, but I find with every bowel movement (not at all strained, I have to wait until I can't-not-go 🤢) it all starts bleeding again like the pressure is opening it up? We're on day 17 now and sort of hoped it might feel a bit better than that.
Fairly happy with my postnatal body, back in normal clothes but loose trousers because of the stitches. I have 4kg to lose to get to pre-pregnancy weight. However, breastfeeders, it's really common to hold onto a few last pounds no matter what you do until baby is off the boob so don't sweat it too much! I was 55kg before first daughter, got pregnant still breastfeeding so my starting weight for this one was 56kg. Getting from 57-56 whilst breastfeeding was a real slog, the rest had fallen off naturally. I'm now 60 and have no intention of setting a goal weight below 56 all the time I'm part-Freesian cow. I'll be happy to get to 57 this year really. I had no idea that holding onto the last few pounds was a thing until extensive Googling revealed it's common and I'd stressed for months with no reason!
I'm back at work tomorrow (by "at" I mean working at home, but still). I can't imagine thinking beyond baby sick and hiccups, and screaming fits about hiccups, and poo. Hopefully she settles on me for a good few hours and I can type with two hands!
Those who are using colief and breastfeeding, how are you finding the logistics? I've only ever used infacol because it's easier and worked for DD1; DD2 is a much sicklier baby though and is easily vomiting whole feeds regularly so wondered if it's worth a try. She's gaining weight (weighed her on digital bathroom scales with me this morning!) so I guess enough is getting in; but I remember vomiting after every meal when pregnant and it's not pleasant!
