Yes to you!

Tonight I have been to ds1 Beaver camp fire evening - had to sit round camp fire singing rounds of gingganggoolly and my bonny sailed over the ocean Very cute and quite funny as all the kids buggered off and left all us adults sitting their doing all the singing and actions!

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:08

mmk - you could email [email protected] - say Vicki gave you email and ask for your nearest advisor.

mmk · 15/09/2007 21:08

SOL, they are coming after you...

Sexonlegs · 15/09/2007 21:08

I use cotton wool as the wipes are so wet they just smear the shite everywhere. Bon apetit!

oooggs · 15/09/2007 21:09

lol octo

I start Rainbows on Monday!!!!!!

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:09

Are you running it oooggs? I can see you as a leader - what are leaders called in rainbows?

nappynuttynormabutty · 15/09/2007 21:10

I have a spray bottle that I use to spray Erin's bum and then use dry washable wipes iyswim. I got some dixie drops from clwt twt to make a nice spray with.

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:10

I never got on with cotton wool - poo everywhere. The other day ernie did a poo and it came out the bottom of his trousers

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:11

I can just see you spraying her bum

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:12

A friend went to have a spray tan recently and they accidentally got some on her baby aswell

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:13

am I talking too fast ????

oooggs · 15/09/2007 21:14

Yes I am the Leader Octo . I have done Guides for 5 years and before that Brownies for 10 years. But Guides timing is no good for bedtime so Rainbows fits in nicely and I can take dts and ds1 is at nursery.

We all have different names, think I will be Twinkle and there is Sky, Raindrop, Violet and Star.

Bless them all ages between 5-7

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:15

I knew it - guessed the first time we met!! LOL

mmk · 15/09/2007 21:15

oct, that reminds me when ds was toilet training. One day, he said he'd done a poo, i could smell it, I could hear it, but I just couldn't find it anywhere. I looked and looked, and eventually it fell out of his trouser leg!

Perhaps we could have a thread 'interesting poos I have dealt with'

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:16

I read the other day that tall women are more liekly to have twins - is that true?

Sexonlegs · 15/09/2007 21:16

Another question. Gave K some baby rice today and she just screwed up her face and dribbled it out of her mouth. Normal reaction??

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:17

LOL mmk

Ernie had butternut squash and spinach for tea - can't wait to see his poo!

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:18

SOL - yes quite typical. Ernie has gone off baby porridge completely - am going to take it back to sainsburys!

nappynuttynormabutty · 15/09/2007 21:18

SOL - yep! Erin doesn't like baby rice at all.

mmk · 15/09/2007 21:20

Do you know what I have really missed?

When I was pregnant and working in a boring temp job, Iused to read your comments and laugh until I cried. More than once, and especially on the subject of norks, I was in the loo, with tissue stuffed in my mouth, laughing until I cried.

I lost track of the threads, but eventually just emailed Elllie, who kept in touch, and I'm so glad I did

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:21

On the puree front at the moment - we have cubes or frozen jars of

carrot
parsnip
courgette
butternut squash
sweet potato
carrot and celery
butternut squash and spinach
plum

btw - if you hadn't caught on - when you use a baby jar - keep it - wash it out - then fill it with your own puree.

octoandflash · 15/09/2007 21:22

ah mmk the measuring norks one was rather funny!
