Woo, we just came out the other side of a growth spurt I think, just had a terrible grizzly few days, and the baby cried too!! Grin However she started smiling properly for the first time today!!!! She is 6 weeks old now!

@NixGostling she's beautiful Halo @abbs1 I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry the scans will tell you more. Please keep me posted on what the hospital say xx

@abbs1 “innocent” murmurs are more common than you think and if baby is otherwise well that is really reassuring so try not to worry, easier said than done as @Jesskir89 says

@NixGostling so cute! Think we are having a grizzly few days now so hopefully it is a spurt and passes!

singme · 06/05/2020 16:12

Just reread that last post and didn’t mean to put innocent in quotations- I just mean murmur that’s picked up but doesn’t cause any harm to the baby.

Terrible day of screaming today, can’t think straight half the time Sad hooe you all have a better day!

abbs1 · 06/05/2020 21:05

@jesskir89 @singme I will try my best not to worry. Just waiting for an appointment at the hospital for him. I'm hoping its nothing serious.
Today has been a very long day. Joseph has only slept on and off for 20mins or so with a total of less than 2 hours since he was up at 830am so he has been crying and fussing all afternoon and evening. I finally have him asleep on my bed with his dummy so hoping he sleeps for a good while cause I'm knackered.

Jesskir89 · 06/05/2020 22:07

Think we're all having a rough day today. Freddie didn't eat much all day he's knackered but just having little naps. I was worried about him before but his temperature is OK and he settled with his dummy and a cuddle x

@jesskir89 it certainly does. I hope you get a good night. Joseph didnt even sleep an hour before waking for another feed. Hes had 30oz today and normally only has 20-24oz so I'm thinking it's another growth spurt.
Hes asleep again while I'm burping him so I'm hoping he stays asleep when I put him down so I can sleep.
I wish you all a good night with your little ones.

Jesskir89 · 07/05/2020 04:57

@abbs1 I've just had 5.5 hours out of freddie so brilliant night for me. I hope you have a decent one x

@jesskir89 oh wow that's amazing! Hi
Hope you slept well. Joseph didnt wake till 1:15am and was asleep again by 1:45am and slept till 4:35am and is alseep again now so it's been a pretty good night for me so far.

Jesskir89 · 07/05/2020 06:57

I jinxed it Abbs I've been up since half 4 with a mix of the dog snoring and Freddie waking for another feed. Glad you've had a few hours x

OP posts:
abbs1 · 07/05/2020 09:46

@jesskir89 oh no! That's not good. Joseph slept till around 6am and then got fussy so I held him and he slept another good while.

singme · 07/05/2020 14:26

We actually had a good night after our rubbish day yesterday. Slept 11-230 and 3-530 and then even went back down after that which she never does!
Today I tried to get out in the pram for a 45 min nap in the morning and then put her down this afternoon for another nap (she never usually sleeps when I put her down awake but drowsy but I pushed the pram back and forth and she dropped off!). Hoping that if she sleeps today she won’t be screaming all evening like last night. Although maybe she’ll be up all night Grin.
Not sure what the best approach is but guess we have to go with it!

abbs1 · 07/05/2020 21:00

@singme I have had the opposite to you. Good night and awful day! Joseph just didnt sleep all day and just cried and fussed. He then crashed at 1645 and slept for 2 1/2 hours then had a bottle and bath and has just self soothed himself to sleep in his cot so I'm happy and can finally relax!

Jesskir89 · 07/05/2020 22:19

Hopefully we will have a good night tonight ladies. Freddie has been wingy for 2 days and fussy with his feeds too but his temp is fine

abbs1 · 07/05/2020 22:36

@jesskir89 I really hope you have a good night and all you ladies too! Joseph is fast asleep in his cot so I'm off to sleep.

Jesskir89 · 08/05/2020 05:08

Just had 4 hours from 1 til 5 so I'm very happy here :)

Morning @jesskir89 oh that's amazing! Well done Freddie 🙂
Joseph has been up every hour wanting a feed so it's been a long old night for me. Just giving him another bottle now. My husband will hopefully take him soon so I can get some sleep.

singme · 08/05/2020 15:20

After pushing the daytime naps yesterday had a terrible night. Couldn’t get Evie to sleep in her crib at all! She was wide awake but happy so was still better than Wednesday. @abbs1 sounds similar to your night @Jesskir89 glad you had a good sleep!

TGIF and DP can help more tonight!

abbs1 · 08/05/2020 19:10

@singme sounds like a long night! Hope today was better?

Joseph has had a tough day bless him. Hes really struggling with sleep and when he has his bottle after like 30-60ml he just starts screaming and crying. I offer the bottle again and he takes it like hes starving still but then cries again and hits the bottle away. No idea why but it's really frustrating and upsetting to see him so distressed.

abbs1 · 08/05/2020 22:27

I hope you all have a good night.

My evening ended in such a lovely way with my husband coming in to say good night and Joseph just smiling away at his daddy for the first time! Absolutely melted my heart and now he is fast asleep bless him.

Jesskir89 · 08/05/2020 23:37

@singme sorry what does tgif stand for? I'm not very clued up lol. Sorry you both had a shit night fingers crossed for tonight girls. Freddie is having his first bottle now hopefully I'll get 4 hours. @abbs1 is it wind?

OP posts:
abbs1 · 09/05/2020 01:16

@jesskir89 no it was definitely smiles. It was so sweet!
Joseph slept 1030pm to 1am and just having a bottle now.

singme · 09/05/2020 04:06

@Jesskir89 thank god it’s Friday lol! Retro! Love the nights my DP can help and always get a good nap at the weekend.

Third wake up now but been asleep since 1 so not bad!

@abbs1 so cute! How old is he again?

Hope you’ve all slept ok!

abbs1 · 09/05/2020 04:55

@singme hes just over 7 weeks.

Sadly my husband has to work again today but hes off tomrrow so looking forward to a lie in hopefully! Hes having to work 6 days a week atm and normally doesnt finish work till gone 8PM but at least hes working from home so I'm not totally on my own.

Joseph slept 130am -430am so that was really good for him and me 😂 I doubt he will sleep again now but will see.

Jesskir89 · 09/05/2020 06:55

@abbs1 sorry I meant three days crying when feeding could that be wind? @singme glad DP could help you tonight. Freddie just did 5 hours straight he didn't wake til 6.15, had a 4oz expressed bottle and is now feeding on me! Greedy lol all that sleep must have made him hungry
