No wrap/liner needed. Will let you know!

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 10:35

I have two ebay accounts- hollyandalice and zeno1971.

Glad you are trying the slinki minkis TA. I was gonna get some, but I'll wait til you've tried them to see what they're like first!

Some cheap nappies here!

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 11:06

am selling scuba diving gear now...omg I won't have a house left by the time I am done!

sputnik · 11/09/2007 11:32

I have a rainbow slinki. and a cowprint one - notice they don't make them anymore so it's probably a vintage collectors item. Any bidders? They dry nice and quickly, I stuff mine with a hemp booster ()

I just came down from my cloud long enough to realise my sister will be here in a week and we are going on holiday, thought it was ages away yet. Bum, was supposed to have lost my tummy.

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 11:49

babykind sells them??

daisyandbabybootoo · 11/09/2007 12:02

My dishwasher is getting delivered on Friday

Gaargh babyboo is being a bit demanding this morning...I just can't put her down.

My housework hotspots are turning into raging infernos...heeeeeeeeelllllllllpppppp!!!

look under pocket nappy inserts. Hemp is supposed to have best bulk to absorbency ratio, but don't know if that's still true as they didn't do bamboo or microfibre ones back in my day (3 years ago )

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 12:07

Oh daisy, how wonderful! I am v , I want a dishwasher!

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 12:08

If I did housework hotspots my whole bloody house would be on fire!

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 12:24

Babykind sells slinki minkis I mean

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 12:24

I am REALLLY HUNGRY

foxybrown · 11/09/2007 12:31

hellloooo.

TA I'm scoffing a pitta bread with houmous and apple - highly recommend it, very yummola. There is nothing else to eat in our house. ooops.

Just went to get lo jabbed, but having waited 40 bleedin' minutes after appointment time, I had to give up and go and do the school run. Am really quite . What a waste of fucking time!

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 12:33

Me too TA, but I've just stood on the scales and I've lost about 6 lbs! Woohoo!! Don't want to spoil it now by eating! Well maybe I'll just have some cheese on toast!

Jamantha · 11/09/2007 12:35

Having a ham roll here. But humous & apple sounds nice, will try sometime.

DD pissed all over my trouser leg at baby massage this morning. Have also had to rub lotion all over myself to combat the itching, so trousers now a right state. Can I be bothered to change before taking her for jabs this pm?

And she's now a member of the library, with 5 books out. I'm not up to sitting playing much this afternoon, so thought snuggling on the sofa with books might be the way to go.

foxybrown · 11/09/2007 12:35

how Holly? How, how, how????

daisyandbabybootoo · 11/09/2007 12:38

i feel your foxy.

at my clinic you have to queue to see the HV then queue again to wait for the nurse to do the jabs. Last week i told them I didn't need to see the HV and was just here for jabs.......they sent everyone who was in seeing the HV ahead of me and I still had to wait over an hour. I was very very and had to run for 15 mins uphill to school.

gawd all these MM threads, it's getting out of hand.

Dunno foxy, we haven't been shopping for a while, so have no crisps! That was probably a factor! TBH it hasn't made that much difference, though I am quite chuffed that I now weigh under 14 stone! That's probably not much to be pleased about! My aim is to be a size 12 again by the new year...another 2 stone to go then!

I had that yesterday foxy, they give you a time to go and get the jabs, but in reality it is more like first come, first served! I had to wait for over half an hour.

bumperlicious · 11/09/2007 12:50

Snap foxy, I've just has pitta bread and hummous, yum! Still not skinny though, despite thyroid , there's got to be some upside to this!

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 12:54

Right, dd is napping, ds is asleep...do I sit on pooter and muck about buying nappies and playing on MN or do housework?

daisyandbabybootoo · 11/09/2007 12:59

i got a free sample of bamboo disposable nappies today......link here for anyone interested. The free samples are further down the page.

Fuck I am SO near breaking point. Have just been to see a nursery near here. Will cost money that I don't have, but prevent me screaming at my DD1! At least a couple of mornings a week anyway. Can I add to DH's are wankers thread...mine seems to think that it's fine for me to look after the children, do the housework, cook the meals AND pay most of our bills and mortgage. Am wondering what the actual point of him going to work is? And also wondering if that's what he wants me to think ;(

daisyandbabybootoo · 11/09/2007 13:04

I'm off to get DD weighed and measured. See y'all later.

Saw/heard something really sad this morning. A little old woman stood in her front garden and as I walked past she asked if it was Tuesday, then what the date was. I confirmed it was Tuesday and that I thought it was the 11th. As I was walking away she asked if it was September, which I thought was a little odd, so i went back and asked if she was OK and did she need any help with anything. She said she was OK but thankyou. All this time dD was hollering, and I apologised for the noise. Lovely baby she said, sound asleep there. This confirmed then that she wasn't totally with it if she thought the is screaming baby was asleep and asked again, but no she insisted she was fine. We were headed for the church opposite her house and I spoke to the vicars wife who told me that her husband had died 3 weeks ago and she stands outside all day, sometimes until 9 at night. They think she is very confused and is waiting for him to come home. The vicar and his wofe and the womans neighbours all keep an eye on her but are rather worried.

daisyandbabybootoo · 11/09/2007 13:06

BZ...mine has been making "going back to work" noises.
