Can anyone tell me when babies stop vomiting all over you? DD never did it much but Baby Sputnik is a veritable yogurt factory. I am fond of black velvet in wintertime and wondering if there's any hope for me or shall I just buy a wetsuit?

bumperlicious · 11/09/2007 14:24

that's really sad jamantha.

bz, sorry you are having a tough time. It's been a bad week DH wise all round - do you think they all club together and decided to piss us off, like a growth spurt week for husbands! How are you supposed to pay the bills?

DD has just completed an hour long feed, it's going to be one of those weeks...and now she won't go to sleep. And now I've just realised why, the familiar sound of the poo explosion...

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 14:24

Sputnik - I am selling a very nice scubapro wetsuit on ebay. Let me know if the puke continues, I'll give you dibs

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 14:27

Slinki Minki observations.

Fit is a little tight round the legs on DS but he is pretty chubby leg wise, skinny waist though.

When padded with a muslin folded to within an inch of it's life, nappy went 2 hours with what looked like an extra wee to go.

When padded with a booster (terry?), nappy went 1 hour before leaking.

sputnik · 11/09/2007 14:29

Will think about it TA. Is it black?

Like the twunt spurt theory Bumper. I think they're thinking, well, 3 months have passed, things should be going back to normal.

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 14:36

yes, black with funky silver bits. Could cunningly hide milk!

sputnik · 11/09/2007 14:41

It's not a nappy I would use all day every day tbh. But they are 1st to dry out of a load of nappies, and fun to look at.
I've said a million times that motherease are hard to beat. Also have some ella's house hemp ones that are pretty absorbant (not quick drying though)

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 14:56

my motherease ones haven't arrived yet

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 14:58

the one size. I have with and without stay-dry lining. They might seem a little big at first but wwill last to the bitter end, and probably further kids - I don't see mine wearing out anytime soon. They are so simple even a man can put them on. Also, I found their wraps compatible wwith all my other nappies.

sputnik · 11/09/2007 15:18

Never thought of putting one on my head

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 16:16

Feel very sad (and very lucky) now.

Poor Vio.

daisyandbabybootoo · 11/09/2007 16:29

Poor Vio, what could be worse?

Jamantha · 11/09/2007 16:31

I didn't know her, or even of her, but that is sad.

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 16:36

So sad, it really is a horrible condition. The poor little boy.

That's very spooky daisy! My ds is 16lb 4oz, luckily I am not 16 stone!!

TA, Reading do a nappy incentive scheme, the number is 01189390159. Just thought you'd like to know!

DG how much did you want for the tots?

Daisy, I just bought some fuzzi bunz from ebay. 2 for £7! Bargain!

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 16:42

Holly I already sent off the forms to claim

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 16:43

I STINK of mildew
anyone got any ideas for how to get rid of mildew smell in a wetsuit?!?

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 16:45

Stick it on the washing line for a few days TA, that might air it out a bit.

I just tried my lovely new bumble on ds, he literally had it on for a couple of mins and he pooed in it! Grrrr...why do babies have to blardy poo?!

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 16:46

Daisy/Holly... you are so NOT nappy obsessed.
