sputnik · 10/09/2007 23:06

daisyandbabybootoo · 10/09/2007 23:08

I will quote you to dH tomorrow mornning first thing!
I'm off too, can't see straight now after that hemp booster

riabutterflew · 10/09/2007 23:32

gawd, don't mention the BJ words. They'll all bloody want one.

thnaks for those words of support daisy. As it is his movement is still very limited so as not to damage the new joint, but a little "mental" support wouldn't be too difficult. I do wonder if he knows I don't want him to overdo it so he can't go back to the all-consuming work yet though. He will be much better when back with his other love... (and like you also said, I'll be able to deal with dcs and housework my own way in my own time.)

nite nite all Rx

trendaverter · 11/09/2007 07:14

morning all!

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 07:55

Morning! How are you feeling this morning TA?

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 08:23

Daisy, just had an email back from that woman selling the Little Lambs. She said "Look at the Little Lambs website for pictures and descriptions"! Cheeky cow! Don't think I'll bother to be honest, if she can't be bothered to take some pictures then I can't be bothered to buy them!

bumperlicious · 11/09/2007 08:50

morning all! DH and I went out last night for dessert and a glass of wine at Strada. It was really nice.

Yesterday was a bit crap. Not sure what was wrong with DD but every time I put her down she cried. And had an interesting incident when DD was crying, I was trying to get dress the phone rang and at the same time the dorr buzzer went, it was the postman with a parcel and I had to answer it with a scream DD, phone at one ear and only PJ bottoms and a bra on! I really have slipped to rock bottom in the dignity stakes!

bumperlicious · 11/09/2007 08:56

TA, I'm sorry your family aren't being supportive. You know you are doing the right thing for DS. It's no good you being at home bonding with him if you haven't got a home to live in!

Charlie999 · 11/09/2007 09:25

Morning All

LOL Bumper ....can just imagine the posties face!

The tesco's woman knocked at my door and I answered the door and snapped "Is the doorbell broken then?" and the lovely lady delivery person said to me "I didn't want to wake your beautiful baby"

TA - take no bloody notice of your brother ! You and DS will be fine and its none of his bloody business.

Off to see my sister this morning....its my neices first day at school (12.30-3pm ) and I'm going with them to be the proud Auntie (and proud cousin)

loonylovegood · 11/09/2007 09:26

Ooops, just joined the nct! I am officially a lentil weaver!

Well done bumper, I'm sure you made the postie's morning!! Glad you had a good night!

Charlie999 · 11/09/2007 09:27

Niece's....obviously never took any notice at school of the i before e except......

Jamantha · 11/09/2007 09:33

Your niece is just starting school, mine has just got engaged and has asked if my DD will be bridesmaid in a couple of years

daisyandbabybootoo · 11/09/2007 09:35

what a morning.

dd up at quarter to five, fed her, nodded off at half six, next thnig i know ds is waking me up telling me he'd had his breakfast and could i change the tv as he was fed up with the news. quick glance at the clok....8 o'clock. cue mad panic trying to get packed lunch, school clothes, outdoor pe kit (not used since last year), milk money eyc organised to get out te door by 8;30. i haven't even washed my face or had a cup of tea yet as dd screamed all the way back as she woke u hungry. she's now guzzling like there's a shortage and keeps spluttering. if i try and sit her up to burp she screams and throws herself back horizontal again...stroppy little maddam!

Been on the phone to a lovely sounding childminder who I am meeting tomorrow.

I confess

My slinki minkis arrived this morning

daisyandbabybootoo · 11/09/2007 10:20

Come and join the programme TA hee hee!

Are they nice? are they slinky?

OP posts:
trendaverter · 11/09/2007 10:25

they are 2nd hand, I have bought lots of different things to try - I gave up too easy last time as bamboozles took waaaay too long to dry and I felt bad for going straight for one type and giving up when it didn't work for me.

They are not very slinky but I got size M, 14-20lbs, and he is 15lbs so I expect it to be on the large side!

So far so good, stuffed it with a muslin as my boosters haven't arrived yet
