wah... it's time for last feed and bed, see y'all soon xx
(Daisy, is your LO going 12 straight or are you still lifitng her for a sleepy feed bafore you go to bed?)

Charlie999 · 07/09/2007 22:48

Night all - last feed for me too...

daisyandbabybootoo · 07/09/2007 22:52

she goes down at about 8:30 and that's her till 6:30 most nights. Should i be giving her a sleepy feed? I found that if I woke her for a feed at 10 she'd be awake again at 3, but if i leave her she sleeps through.

lucky you daisy.

baggins has been on one long growth spurt since he was born. makes it very difficult to do sw as no time to do endless food prep.

i am just having a bad couple of days where i feel useless cos all i do is maybe hang out the washing and then feed all day long (ok i maybe do the nursery run, wash up - tho it takes all day and might just get all done before bed and take the washing off the line and pile it on a sofa.) I would like my house to be tidy enough so i don't have to panic like hell if my mum is coming round. though i suppose then i would be sad cos i wanted too cuddle him. there is no pleasing some people.

is it weird beard night on bbc1?

i cannot believe adam sandler is 41! i thought he was only 30ish

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 07/09/2007 23:09

Bloody hell it's just taken me ages to catch up!!!

DG - if you're still there LABA stands for long acting beta aganist (sp?) and this is similar to ventolin except it lasts for longer (12hrs instead of 6)

Hi Ria

daisyandbabybootoo · 07/09/2007 23:44

good morning ladies!

Hope you are all well on this fine morning.

Jamantha · 08/09/2007 08:29

fine thanks TA, apart from being exhausted already by a 6am start. Hopefully DH will join me soon in the land of the (mostly) awake.

andiem · 08/09/2007 08:59

morning all my lo slept through he slept from 7 till 6 and then I fed him and he went back to sleep till 8 still feel tired though too much sleep perhaps

vole3 · 08/09/2007 09:03

Morning all!
Sorry I've been silent for a while, but I have been reading the thread, honest.

DS is getting better at going to bed. In bed last night by 9pm, up at 1.30 for a feed, but unfortunately also up again at 5.30 for the next one and THEN he wants to play.....

I'd better go, he's making noises for 2nd breakfast to be forthcoming.

trace2 · 08/09/2007 09:26

hi all chloe home once again and her mir next friday!.

can i ask a question, i asked pead yesterday but did not answer! chloe is not holding her head up much at all even when i put her up on my chest to wind shes can not do only lift and fall back down. am sure jack was holding his up for much longer at that age, shes 13 weeks on monday

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 08/09/2007 10:03

Ah Trace - it's brill that she's at home again
My lo is 10 weeks and is kind of holding his head up for a bit but he gives up after a while and usually headbutts me!! It depends tho - they are all different - I have some friends with babies the same age as Chloe (NCT friends) and some of them are holding their heads up and some of them are not. Don't worry

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/09/2007 10:03

hi trace, that's good news chloe is at home again .

Not sure about the head holding up. Em can hold hers up quite well, but she has had a really strong neck since she was born. I think they're all different so I woudn't worr about it too much. I'm sure Derlor or Andiem will be able to reassure you better.

hi Vole....I hope your joints are feeling better.

I'm off to change my homepage from MN to Flylady...it's toio temting to look in on the thread when i switch on; i only came on to check my e-mails and look at dishwashers and here i am sucked in once more!

I won't be back till kiddy bedtime, if you see me here at all chase me around the boards and tell me to fark off!!!

Andie, that great. I know what you mean about still tired. DH did the morning feed, so I woke up briefly at 8, back to sleep the up at 9.45 but still tired! Don't think it's too much sleep, I think you have 2 months of lack of sleep to catch up on which would take about a week of solid sleep!

Trace, glad Chloe is back home! I don't know about the head thing, DD has been trying to hold hers up since day 1 so holds hers up pretty well but I am sure all babies develop at different rates, and being so ill probably hasn't helped. Try putting her face down on a play mat with something in front of her to encourage her to lift her head up.

BadZelda · 08/09/2007 11:18

Morning all!

Playing catchup as usual...maybe cos we were at the pub till 9 last night so I missed the evening session

R.e. Asthma...DH had that quite badly when we were just up in scotland - to the point where he had to sleep downstairs on the couch. We think it was dust spores in the duvet that triggered it? He never gets it in London, despite being a smoker.

R.e. Baby led weaning...that does sound interesting. Matilda is showing no interest in anything except breast so far and I'm not planning on introducing anything else till at least 5 months.

Great thing happened at the pub last night r.e. 'figures we had 10 years ago' - someone actually looked shocked when I said I'd had a baby 12 weeks ago. I'm assuming (as they looked at my midriff) that's because I look SO SLIM not because I'm a TERRIBLE mother having my 12 wo in the pub

BadZelda · 08/09/2007 11:20

Trace - great news about Chloe...r.e. head thing - was she caesarian? I think their head control comes slightly later? Doesn't sound like you need extra things to worry about...

bumperlicious · 08/09/2007 11:31

LOL zelda, don't worry I'm sure it's because you look fab!

andiem · 08/09/2007 11:57

Trace don't worry about the head thing they all do it at different times and all her trips to hospital won't have helped her. try doing a bit of tummy time as bumper says and that should help so pleased to hear she is home take care now

BZ good for you [grin} looking good girrl

I'm thinking of doing blw this time am deffo going to do exclusive bf for 6 mths and then may do a mixture of blw and mashed food me thinks. Would love not to have to do all that pureeing

Daisy off you go

Am now going to do some gardening catch up later

bumperlicious · 08/09/2007 11:57

Daisy, any chance you could email me those flylady pages? We couldn't download them for some reason and I want to give it a go.

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/09/2007 11:58

No, cos I'm not here...

lurker lurker

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/09/2007 12:03

...I can't resist, the pull is just too strong!

DH is off to buy a dishwasher...I should be clearing out the fridge so we can move it and make space for it in the kitchen.

DIYPlanner flylady pages. Bumper, these are templates made by someone else based on Flylady, not actually from Flylady site, but they are quite good...and it has full sink shining instructions

OP posts:
bumperlicious · 08/09/2007 12:16

Yeah, I found the website but for some reason can't download them (maybe because we have a mac) but you said DH printed them off for you so wondering if you have the file you could email me.

Very about the dishwasher!

bumperlicious · 08/09/2007 12:17

Btw, just because you are not posting it doesn't count as not being here!

daisyandbabybootoo · 08/09/2007 12:29

I literally only peeked before switching off the pooter, but you engaged me in conversation...'twould have been rude not to reply....

So, it's all your fault

It seems you need to download Open Office before the file will open. I'll see if I can save them as a pdf and e-mail them to you!

I'm going out tonight

For a chinese meal (which i shouldn't eat cos of soy sauce, but bugger it)
