bollocks. he's awake again. ARSE

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/09/2007 09:33

LOL holly, I hope you've got a king-size bed!

DD finally went to sleep at nine o'clock....yay. Hopefully that'll be her for a few hours and I can get some things done.

I've made a hit list for the housework in terms of urgency...here's betting I don't even complete the first thing on the list, LOL

loonylovegood · 06/09/2007 09:33

My pc keeps freezing up so I'm off before I throw it out the window! Off to stay and play to get my chunky monkey weighed! He is a right little porker now!

morning! how is everyone today?

i'ne taken lo to hospital for scan on clicky hips today - all ok.

kids at school/nursery, lo feeding, tea, toast and fern & phil back on telly.

this is my idea of a good time. how am I???

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 11:15

I am good. Just applied for a job, home visits for pets. Seems less stressful than software consultancy.
on the minus side it only pays £6 a day lol

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/09/2007 11:16

Foxy...me too . Good news about DDs hip though

I'm trying to work up the enthusiasm to go to the baby cafe this afternoon, but the thought of a roomful of stangers is very scary indeed.

Halfway through my pile of paperwork and still haven't found my passport or our marriage certificate

Are you settling in to the new school routine?
It was DSs first morning of having to sort himself out in the cloakroom (last year parents had to go in with them). They all had to line up before going in with the TAs. It's quite sad as he's getting all grown up, but it is one less stress in my already stressful day so GOOD THING really

Babyboo has been asleep for over two hours. Can't decide whether to wake her or just leave her, since she was awake for four hours before that!

foxybrown · 06/09/2007 11:28

i've just posted on a very sweary thread ranting about threads which talk about the risk of Downs Syndrome tests in pg.

I really wished I hadn't.

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/09/2007 11:30

take deep breaths and have some chamomile tea.

could you ask MN to delete it...before the backlash starts?

foxybrown · 06/09/2007 11:31

Mornings are OK, we have been ready in good time

DP is being an arse.

I've been getting up at 6.30 to have a shower and going to be about 10pm. Last night I was thoroughly depressed with the drudgery of it, but I figure it will get easier. I was making lunch at 9.30pm and was knackered, but I had traipsed round the shops for 3 hours, so won't be doing that again!

foxybrown · 06/09/2007 11:33

Its quite an angry thread, I should have butted out, but told them it made me sad.

Left myself wide open didn't I?

Oh well.

riabutterflew · 06/09/2007 11:34

after pooping all over himself, the bed and 2 sets of towels, DS3 has finally gone to sleep listening to ...Led Zeppelin. CLASS CHILD. I knew one of them wouldn't let me down!!!

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/09/2007 11:35

oops foxy, I thought you meant you'd been sweary and ranty.

ISWYM now though!

Thankfully for me DD is quite a good wee alarm clock so this week has been OK (well alltwo days of it). DS is very excited about havingpacked lunches and has been helping me in the morning. this will pass sooner rather than later I fear!

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 06/09/2007 11:43

phew.....
I've JUST found out that I am not being made redundant

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/09/2007 11:56

Good news DKMA

I think I've got blocked ducts again
Pain has just started in my right boob. I'm fucking sick of this

Jamantha · 06/09/2007 11:59

good news about lo, foxy.

sorry about ducts, daisy, and good luck at baby cafe.

Jamantha · 06/09/2007 12:00

Sorry, and yay for DKMA not bein made redundant

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 12:05

Sorry about your boobs Daisy

GRRR I just had a call, an URGENT contract, starting today, errr no. Same company I used to work for, bunch of arseholes, and the money ain't great.
HMMMMM. I have told them I can do interview Monday earliest, will see.

Dontknowmyarsefrommyelbow · 06/09/2007 12:07

Daisy - you're getting a rough time of it with the bf thing aren't you?!
Get in the bath and give them a massage!!
I have to admit that I am doing less and less bf'ing as the weeks are going by - and I'm feeling more and more like a normal person now!!
My boobs were in a permanant state of engorgement and just leaked everywhere (unless I'd just fed / expressed) - but now they are looking and feeling like their old selves again!!

sputnik · 06/09/2007 12:07

Got a blocked duct here too Daisy, so glueed to the sofa with Baby Sputnik trying to clear it (luckily he is always up for a feed). Did you try the expressing at night thing? I can imagine that 12 hours not feeding would mean a lot of engorgement.

loonylovegood · 06/09/2007 12:36

Oops, had a breakdown at stay and play! Ds wouldn't shut up screaming and in the end I started crying! Everyone was lovely though, one mum took ds and jiggled him about and made him be quiet and the play worker played with dd for me so I could have a sit down! I'm sure they all think I'm a right wierdo now!

Sorry about the blocked ducts and engorgement sputnik and daisy, hope it gets better soon.

Good news about dd's hips foxy!

What a relief about the job dkma!

Ria, you have a classy child! My dp wants to put Led Zeppelin and Madness on dd's cd player so she can learn some words to good songs rather than just nursery rhymes and cbeebies theme songs!! He is a loser!

loonylovegood · 06/09/2007 12:40

Oh bollocks, just sat on my lunch! Now I have brie and tomatoes all over my bum!

OP posts:
foxybrown · 06/09/2007 13:04

Are you OK Holly? Has it passed?
My DP has them singing songs from the terraces, that is sad!

sputnik · 06/09/2007 13:22

Holly, I'm sure they don't think you're a wierdo, we've all been there. Can your lunch be saved?

andiem · 06/09/2007 13:22

afternoon all

daisy sorry about your ducts (makes you sound like you are a piece of plumbing)

DKMA good news about your job, they have restructured at my work and my head of department job had gone I was offered the chance to apply to be head of the new dept but I couldn't be arsed so I will go back as a normal lecturer same money though

Holly my lo got overtired last night and screamed for about 45 mins I was really at the end of my tether and almost cried too

Have been feeling tired this week, long story but I have a friend who has split from her dh. Her dd is in the same class as my ds. She has been asking me to look after her dd more and more I was looking after her when lo was 2 weeks. Anyway i resolved that I would say no after the school hols as I really want to spend my mat leave with my two not as a childminder unpaid of course. she caught me on tues first day of school and asked if I would have dd on wed and I STUPIDLY said yes aaagh anyway have resolved it by booking ds into tennis on weds so can't have her dd she asked me about next week already AIBU? the child is as miserable as sin and really mean to my ds which makes him sad she divided the playroom in half the other day and told him he couldn't go in half of it it is his farking house

sorry ladies really needed to off load as it has been making me very stressed and tired to have her here all the time

andiem · 06/09/2007 13:23
