LOL Holly - unfortunately DH was v hands on with LO. Before he went I had barely changed a nappy & had never bathed her so do miss the help a bit. Still, once he is back he will have 2 months to make up for so i will be putting my feet up big style

Daisy - I will see b/f support tomorrow but don't think they can prescribe anth. Think wd just send me back to GP. Think am prob best to change GP, had nothing but probs with my Health Centre all thru pg & looks like still the same. The nurse there @ 8 week check also told me , 'B/f isn't the be all you know' when I asked her advice re the pain.

Am really struggling tho', we are almost 12 weeks in & it has never been pain free. Not sure how much longer I can realistically go on with it.

riabutterflew · 05/09/2007 23:31

I really let myself down tonight. Watched Steel Magnolias and DH caught me crying. It is usually him. Icemaiden image gone forever.

Prob won't sleep tonight re toddlers on windowledges. Thank god it turned out ok.

Hope tomorrow is relatively calm for everyone.

Hope your DS ok TA.

DS2 decided he didn't fancy nrsery today, hence the "arse". Also dieting too difficult just now. Maybe tomorrow...

Can anyone explain why British Telecom are such arses?

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/09/2007 07:10

LOL Ria....it's good to show your soppy side every now and again

Babyboo has been up since quarter to farking five this morning. She fed for over an hour and just wouldn't go back to sleep.

ARSE.....I'm not used to this.

She's now killing herself laughing at the Like-A-Balls on CBBC

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 07:21

Morning all
DS is now ok, I was worried he wouldn't forget about his flying episode but after a few hours he was ok. I secured the pram, but it was on a slope, and I guess the weight of the change bag was just too much!!
Thank god I am anal about strapping him in!

DH asked him last night if he wanted to be a stunt man when he grows up.

daisyandbabybootoo · 06/09/2007 07:24

Morning TA...glad DS is OK. He's probably forgotten all about it by this time.

My DD is driving me nuts this morning. she wants feeding again...aaaaarrrrrrgggghhhhhh!

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 08:32

Is she having a growth spurt!? She sure eats a lot!

My DS is doing my head in today for different reasons.
He is so desperate to sit upright by himself he spends ages going red in the face trying to pull himself up, he must really have been straining as he then projectile vomited all his milk, cleverly getting every item of his clothing, my clothing, the throw rug and a cushion. Well done S!

Charlie999 · 06/09/2007 08:32

Glad S is ok TA...makes you think doesn't it...I'm not quite so anal about strapping DD in if I'm not actually walking

4.45am is just too bloody early Daisy

DD had a drug induced sleep last night (well calpol induced....) that lasted from 10.30pm till 6am with only one "get up to stuff dummy in the mouth" episode at 4.30am....but as mentioned, was drug / jab induced and don't expect it to happen again tonight...and I'm still knackered.....perhaps I should get a FBC done....Bumper, did you get any bloods done in the end?

God scary stuff bout that little boy Tallulah . Sounds like you also have a bloody useless GP...know the feeling there!

Jamantha · 06/09/2007 08:42

morning all. if it's any consolation daisy, my lo is feeding all the time at the moment as well, which is also meaning more night feeds i'm just not used to it.

we're off to try the "stay and play" group at the local children's centre in a bit. it'll be the first time for us. i have promised that we'll take that long walk we should have done yesterday this pm. i really need to do some exercise.

bumperlicious · 06/09/2007 08:53

Morning all, I wasn't around last night as for the second night in a row DD yelled from 6-11pm! Don't know what's wrong with her. Tried teething granules, bonjela both of which made her cry even more. The only time she would be quiet was if we were standing and moving around. As soon as we sat down she yelled again. And she would feed properly before bed either, so DH had to give her EBM which she gulped down. And she is whinging now...what happened to my good baby?!

Holly, that travel cot still up for grabs?

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 08:54

luckily DS is NOT feeding all the time atm, in fact he doesn't seem to want to eat much at all, I think it's teeth because as soon as you put bonjela on he eats a lot more happily. Poor sod.

Also he keeps getting up in the night but doesn't want milk, he's just chewing the crap out of his hands, so again it would be teeth I guess.

bumperlicious · 06/09/2007 08:58

Charlie, went to the hospital drop in clinic for bloods yesterday.

DD has gone from feeding for 10 minutes to 45

Talullah, sorry bfing is still painful. It is a bit for me too, so I have ordered these. I'll let you know if they work, but they get really good reviews.

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 08:59

Bumper my DS is like that, he has been doing that for about 2 weeks.
If you are standing up and he is on your shoulder he is fine, as soon as you sit down or take him off the shoulder he kicks off. We have found it's overtiredness (with him anyway). He rejects the bottle.
We plug a dummy in and put him down, he kicks off LOUDLY for a few minutes then settles.
We have found that if he hasn't settled himself down by 5 minutes he's hungry (whereas he rejected the bottle before he was put down! Weird)
It used to just be at night but now he does it 4/5 times a day, but now we know how to deal with it it's easier and works every time.

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 09:01

I am a prat
I got a letter from Ebay telling me I was selling naughty goods

I was selling apple flavour tobacco from Egypt, I got it as a souvenier but I am never gonna use it, apparently this was very naughty to sell it, doh!

No wonder it had 7 watchers and sold within 20 minutes of me putting it up!

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 09:03

I wonder if they'll get annoyed with the bong I have on there?

bumperlicious · 06/09/2007 09:04

Thanks TA, it may be tiredness, we'll try putting her down next time.

So, what did ebay say, have they banned you? Naughty girl!

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 09:08

They haven't banned me...yet!!

It may not be tiredness in your case but it can't do any harm to try!

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 09:10

I never watch the baby channel but there is nothing else on and I cannot stomach Lorraine Kelly

There are a load of blokes on the baby channels saying that their PG wives get away with murder and call it 'hormones'

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 09:11

ok I seem to have verbal diarrhoea this morning so I am going to go and do something constructive like cancel my phone contract.

bumperlicious · 06/09/2007 09:14

Tossers! Do you think if men had the choice they would have babies?!

I've got to go and get ready. I've got bumps and babies then lunch with some girls, then my yoga teacher is coming over to meet DD then I have yoga class.

Farking Npower, just came to read the meters and rand on my buzzer waking dd up. It's a really load entry phone buzzer that you can't disconnect

Charlie999 · 06/09/2007 09:15

Holly - your skills far outstrip mine on scrab but I'm chuffed to bits with 52 points for one word ...shame it doesn't get me ANYWHERE near your score

trendaverter · 06/09/2007 09:20

I HATE Npower.
They give me rage.

loonylovegood · 06/09/2007 09:21

Well TA, at least you don't have to watch Me Too! The biggest pile of shite the BBC has ever comissioned!

Oh fucking hell, my dd just got in a stop with me an threw her juice cup on the floor. The lid came off and now their is ribena all over the carpet!! Oh well, at least it'll blend in with all the other crap all over the floor!

TA is that the tobacco you smoke in one of those big bong type pipes? We tried one of them in Dubai (oops, shouldn't really say that as I was pg!!) and it was lush! Made me feel a bit sick after a while though!

I had a bit of a sleepless night as well, except it was because of dd, not ds! She woke up at one, screaming that she had done a poo. I changed her nappy and she hadn't and then she wouldn't go back in her bed so she came in with us! I got kicked in the back all night. Along with dp snoring as ds feeding there was not much sleep had by me!

OP posts:
trendaverter · 06/09/2007 09:28

Poor you Holly, you think that once they are weaned or whatever you get sleep again but I guess you never do hey

Yes, it's the same stuff! I LOVED it when I was in the middle east, I bought some but never used it!

Wonder where I can sell it, hmmmmmm
