Cahrlie, I'd give her a gentle prod.....she's not BF is she? your boobs if she is must be fit to burst!

I'm usually pretty crap about stuff like that. I forget to check my DCs before I go to bed most nights....

loonylovegood · 05/09/2007 15:49

Has anyone just requested to join our facebook group? I don't recognise the person. Daisy do you?

TA, your poor little ds! Hope he is ok now!

Just took dd to toddler group (can now tick that off my list)! She is such a bloody nightmare it really puts me off taking her anywhere. She just throws a massive paddy when it's time to leave and screams and throws herself on the floor like a lunatic. She screamed all the way home as well. I need a stiff drink now!

Gonna have take away curry tonight. Don't care if I'm fat, just can't be arsed to cook!

nope...don't know who that is!

what do we do now....ask her why she should be allowed to join our group in no more than 30 words....?
or invite her over here for a chat!

I found out who my mystery friend request was from earlier....

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 16:04

DG I'm sure she'll be fine. It must be very odd trusting your DCs to effectively a stranger, and this time of getting to know her better is bound to be a bit strange. (just reading that it doesn't sound very reassuring )

She'll be grand, she's got lots of experience

Where is she from?

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 16:05

Go on holly....you ask who she is. Last time I did that it turned out to be DG, LOL

TA, is the woman in the turquoise stripey jumper a friend of yours? I sent her a message asking who she is as well.

Holly, there is a scrab thread on the mumsnet group...lots of willing victims for you!

trendaverter · 05/09/2007 16:08

Are you talking about Nicole?

trendaverter · 05/09/2007 16:09

Her face is half covered by hair?

Charlie999 · 05/09/2007 16:09

Thanks girls...went over to feel around the back of her neck (to make sure she was warm and still with us ) and she woke up and smiled . Just taken 7oz formula and is currently transfixed to Baby TV on Sky on the 42" tele ...I know that makes me a bad mum but hey ho.

Bloody hell when you want them to sleep they don't and when you don't......

Daisy was your DD ok after her jabs yesterday? Mine hasn't even had any calpol is just sleepy

With regard to FB - should we ask her if she belongs to this thread and ask her what her MN name is and go from there? Is she a "friend" of any of us?

I was talking about Nicole in the turquoise.

But as well as that, I changed the group setting to a closed group, so you have to be invited or ask to join...like the MN one. We've had someone apply to join today.

trendaverter · 05/09/2007 16:21

Ah ok
Nicole is actually a friend of my sisters and is a lunatic. I did see she had wormed her way in saying she had a baby called Queenie. Just ignore her, she's quite harmless!

As for anyone else, no idea

TALLULAHBELLE · 05/09/2007 16:22

oh my god there is a toddler on the windowsill 3 floors up across my street. Fuck, fuck, fuck. The police have arrived & neighbours are standing underneath holding a matress. I can't bear to watch. How terrifying.

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 16:22

Charlie...she was sleepier than normal last night and today she has been a bit shouty. Not crying as such, just shouty and disgruntled. I gave her some calpol at lunchtime and it seems to have settled her.

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 16:24

God tallulah, how frightening.

actually on the outside if the window?

Charlie999 · 05/09/2007 16:25

Thanks Daisy - well as I type she is glued to the TV and smiling

Bloody hell Tallulah - whats going on? Is he inside yet?

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 16:27

am very of your 42" TV charlie....bet that makes watching movies an experience!

Tallulah...keep us updated!

TALLULAHBELLE · 05/09/2007 16:27

yep sitting outside. Fire Brigade have arrived. I'm shaking, can't look but keep hearing crowd noises that scare the shit out of me.

loonylovegood · 05/09/2007 16:32

OMG Tallulah! Is he/she back inside yet?

OP posts:
Charlie999 · 05/09/2007 16:35

It does Daisy - got surround sound as well....just after DD was born, one of DHs colleagues came round....passed a glance at DD and said "cor, like the screen"....typical bloke!

As a friend said, sort the TV out before having children

DD is loving it - I think because it is so big she can see the movement and colours really easily and she loves music...and they sing better than me

Whats happening Tallulah? How old is the LO out there?

TALLULAHBELLE · 05/09/2007 16:37

TF they got him in one of those big ladder thingies & he is safely down. Now that the crisis is over I am going to have a cuppa & perv on the firefighters. For my nerves!

loonylovegood · 05/09/2007 16:40

Phew, what a relief! Lucky you though! Hope they are fit and not fat and old!!

OP posts:
TALLULAHBELLE · 05/09/2007 16:42

Gah - they're all fat & baldy

loonylovegood · 05/09/2007 16:44

Oh, what a shame ! What is the point of firemen if they are not eye candy (obv apart from rescuing small children from windowsills)?
