Hi Daisy, yes I do have tips - will send you an email (only a quickie, I have limited time before DS wants food!)

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 12:04

no rush TA....just when you have a moment!

trendaverter · 05/09/2007 12:06

sent!
I am on FIRE

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 12:20

WOW...thanks TA, certainly lots of info to be going on with. If that's a quickie I'd hate to see your long involved e-mails!!

Cheers

bumperlicious · 05/09/2007 12:25

Well, I went jogging, a mile to the park, a walk round the park then jogged a mile back - now I think I am about to have a heart attack! God I am exhausted. I used to be able to run 10k!

Ria, hope you are ok.

TA, sorry you have to go back to work

Charlie are you ok? Just having a bad couple of days?

Right, off to have a shower and do some laundry - I have pasta sauce all over my white top - damn spaghetti!

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 12:26

go away you freak

putting us all to shame with your jogging and walking

loonylovegood · 05/09/2007 12:31

Can someone please tell me why I bother getting my dd dressed before she has her lunch? She always gets food all over her and I end up having to get her changed again! Laundry is never ending!

bumper!! I can't even run up the stairs without nearly dieing!

bumperlicious · 05/09/2007 12:32

Holly, my dd is still in her Pj's, I think that's the solution!

loonylovegood · 05/09/2007 12:33

Daisy I really like the Little Lambs! They are cute! I now have enough nappies to not use disposables any more! Unfortunately they only just fit him, so I'll prob have to buy the next size in a couple of weeks! Goddamit!

OP posts:
loonylovegood · 05/09/2007 12:34

I think letting her run around in just her nappy all day is the answer!

Hello

Feeling a bit better thanks Bumper....anyone would think it was me having the jabs. She cried but calmed down pretty quickly and is now fast asleep - and no calpol yet!

She weighs 12lb 11oz now - and it feels like it...I'm not going to be able to lift her in her car seat for much longer!

I've obviously turned into this big softie in the last 13 weeks . I dread the day where she doesn't want a kiss from her mum - I kiss her all the time at the moment!

sputnik · 05/09/2007 12:50

If I was you I'd only get her changed if we were actually going out.
Last weekend DD spent nearly 48 hours in the samee pj top.
but then I am this threads prize-winning slattern

loonylovegood · 05/09/2007 12:58

Can I be arsed to take dd to toddler group? Or do I open the back door and let her get dirty in the garden and sit on my arse and watch Loose Women?

I am the prize winning slattern sputnik. Ask TA, she's been to my house of chaos and clutter!

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 13:14

but holly....you can sell the too small ones to fund the next lot!

try some bumbles when he is bigger...i love my bimble and thay are fleece lined with a pocket and pull out soaker so dry really quickly!

Jamantha · 05/09/2007 13:53

3 cheers for getting the internet back on! Bah for my interview being cancelled this morning, but at least they managed to ring me before I went in. Now gotto wait until the 18th.

Good weight for DD, Charlie. Lets hope she continues unfazed by the jabs (I know mine was fine until about 5 houts later with 1st lot).

I should go for long walk with DD this pm, get me some exercise, but not sure if I can be arsed.

foxybrown · 05/09/2007 14:20

Bugger about your interview Jam.

I returned to Weightwatchers this morning. I am fat .

My girls are asleep, my boys at school.

Why do you need to shine your sink? Isn't that why they are made of stainless steel? And doens't it involve filling it up with water and bleach? That can't be good for the environment surely?

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 14:31

It's step 1 of fly lady I think...shine your sinks.

I ackchurley have no inclination to shine my sink...i am a lazy slattern.

Did you take your DDs with you to WW foxy? I must find out about child friendly SW classes near me.

I ate two magnum icecreams after lunch today...not good.

sputnik · 05/09/2007 14:45

I have been to the fly lady site so I know all about this.
A clean sink will make you smile 1st thing in the morning. If you shine it every day, thee theory goes, you'll never have to clean it again

trendaverter · 05/09/2007 14:48

ARSE!

Went to weigh in clinic. 14lb6 for those that care.
Went on to Post office. Couldn't pay, lost purse.
Backtracked.
Found purse.
decided to walk dog. Picked up dog from home.
went back to post office and paid.
went to park. Got sunburned.
Came home.
Secured pram to let dog in.
Did not secure pram well enough and it fell over.
DS (unhurt) now a nervous wreck and will not be put down.
bugger bugger bugger

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 14:48

My DS with bedhead and smelling of sleep and a good morning grin from DD is what gets me smiling in the morning. Much more therapeutic than a shiny sink

daisyandbabybootoo · 05/09/2007 14:50

AW TA, your poor DS . He'll get over it quickly and will have forgotten all about it by tomorrow. hugs to him from us here!

Charlie999 · 05/09/2007 14:54

Aw TA - at least DS is OK and you found your purse ....

14lb 6oz.....doing well then!!

Fuck - forgot I am cooking shepherds pie - better see if its still edible...MN is too addictive

Jamantha · 05/09/2007 14:57

TA - hugs

Charlie999 · 05/09/2007 15:00

DD has been asleep after jabs since 11.30...is that ok or should I wake her?

trendaverter · 05/09/2007 15:12

I would let her sleep personally
Having said that I would actually probably wake her up

I am crap aren't I
