Thanks for well wishes all

Was up all night in the bathroom again, something not happy in my belly

I can soldier on ok, I just wish I could get some sleep! Not even poor DS's fault this time!

Speaking of which - is anyone elses LO having full blown tantrums already?!
DS about 5 times a day decides that's it, he's overtired (sometimes after only 15 mins of being awake!) and then proceeds to shriek and scream and hold his breath and shake and go bluefaced. Inconsolable. Nothing makes him stop. After a few mins he's worn himself out and then goes to sleep happily for an hour or so. It's a little embarassing when we are out!

My mum said I was just the same and grew out of it at about 5. Lucky me!

Jamantha · 03/09/2007 08:33

morning all! Hope it isn't anything serious TA, and that you feel better soon. Good luck getting stuff done daisy. Me, I've got a sleepy baby on my lap so am open to a game of scrabble...

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 08:36

Oh dear TA, hope you get better soon. Take some Alka Seltzer, always helps my tummy when it's dodgy! xxx

bumperlicious · 03/09/2007 08:36

Sorry you are feeling poorly TA. Have you tried peppermint tea to soothe your tummy?

Faylisa, I don't know if your LO has a dummy but we have found that if we put her dummy in instead of feeding her she goes back to sleep, she went to bed at 11 last night, woke up about 5.30, DH took her into the living room so I could go back to sleep and with the intention of feeding her but she went back to sleep and didn't wake for a feed till 7.30.

Daisy and DG I've joined you on the lifestyle thread!

faylisa · 03/09/2007 08:55

HOLLY!!!!!! I can't believe that you've just scored 101 with your first word!

ps - yes DS has a dummy - am running out of things to try!

andiem · 03/09/2007 08:58

hi ladies have to love and leave you and scrabulous as off to tate now will catch up later...........

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 09:03

Sorry faylisa, but an 8 letter word just jumped out at me! Shame I can't do countdown!

Right, I have joined the lifestyle thread and top of my list was to stop playing scrabulous so much and stop MNing between 9am and lunchtime. SO...I am going to make my moves and turn the pc off and write a housework to do list!

BYEEEE!! See you after lunch!

holly, are we still up for tomorrow?

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 09:07

TA, yes indeed! I am looking forward to it! Best go and tidy my house so you don't think I'm some sort of tramp!

OP posts:
Charlie999 · 03/09/2007 09:14

Blardy hell - 101 on one word....

Morning ladies - sorry to hear you don't feel well TA - nothing to do with the Eat all you can Chinese then??

Well have a good day everyone....off to visit a friend and new baby today

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 09:22

Right, I'm on hold to the coucil. I want to see if they do a cloth nappy subsidy, I don't think they do, but it's worth a go!

OP posts:
loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 09:28

Spoke to a daft old cow on the phone who didn't even know what I was talking about! Someone is going to phone me back. I'll be pretty pissed off if they don't do a subsidy, everyone else's councils seem to.

OP posts:
daisyandbabybootoo · 03/09/2007 09:33

holly...try the council website. I downloaded the form from mine!

oops, I'm not here! only logged on to get my e-mails and got sucked back in.

Holly am posting that stuff for W TODAY!!!! He may get to wear the shorts before the onset of winter!!

trendaverter · 03/09/2007 09:34

lol yes Charlie probably something to do with wolfing down copious amounts of black bean aubergine

Cool Holly, see you tomorrow - msg me your address, I will get there probably about 10-10.30ish (dog and baby depending). Shall I bring anything? (other than the dog and baby )

I won't think you are a tramp. I came home yesterday to a half decorated house with no floor or skirting boards and everything is covered in dust. If you have a floor I will think it's a luxury.

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 09:38

I am trying to get off the pc, but I can't seem to tear myself away!

I'll facebook message you with my address in a sec TA. Seriously you really will think I'm a tramp, my house is a hole! Oh well!

Right, must do some housework while ds is sleeping.

Charlie999 · 03/09/2007 09:45

daisyandbabybootoo · 03/09/2007 09:49

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 09:52

I AM a nag, ring the dr! Glad you are feeling better though!

Right, have to go, my dd is wearing 3 dresses!

OP posts:
trendaverter · 03/09/2007 11:34

is everyone hiding on another thread or something?

loonylovegood · 03/09/2007 11:42

No, I'm pretending I'm not here!

OP posts:
Jamantha · 03/09/2007 12:04

I've been out

bumperlicious · 03/09/2007 12:17

DH and I are FLYing! We are doing the crisis Fly (housework for the uninitiated!) he is doing 15 mins on a room while I look after DD (for that read go on MN!) then we swap. It's amazing how much you can get done, but you don't feel like you are spending all day doing it.

trendaverter · 03/09/2007 12:31

I am doing housework too.. me and DH also have a method.
I clean a room, he fills it with dirt and crap.
Rinse and repeat.
