What time (ish) are we meeting up tomorrow?

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 08:29

Isn't it monday that we are meeting up?

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 08:40

this one is a bit of a tv addict too. she is currently watching friends!

trendaverter · 15/08/2007 08:42

Hornimans is tomorrow though

I am scared of driving into London! Ah well I will cope
Anyone know how the congestion charge works?

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 08:44

Ah, I'm going on the 29th. Phew, thought I'd completely messed up there! Hope you have a good time!

Would you be better getting the train?

I'll email you about next week.

Charlie999 · 15/08/2007 08:58

Morning ladies

TA - you only get the congestion charge if you go through central London - you shouldn't need to do that should you? Hornimans is on the South Circular. I'm going on the 29th as well.

Daisy - hope things are better this morning - sounds like a nightmare but I have to admit I PMSL at holding his mouth shut - I remember my dad doing that to me . His pics are gorgeous and he looks like a little angel - whats the saying - butter wouldn't melt and all that.

Welcome back Derlor - hope you are feeling OK now. Nice to see you back - sent you a facebook invite this morning

Bumper - sort yourself out a profile on FB - just use a different name. You don't have to put down anything you don't want to and only those you choose to see your profile will be able to see it, so its more private than MN. You have to do it to see all the gorgeous photos of everyone and their LOs

There are 2 members of the june 07 group on FB that I don't recognise - anyone?

trendaverter · 15/08/2007 09:31

I don't want to take the train, costs a fortune from Reading, £30 return! Plus £12 parking at the station.
CHeaper to drive! Plus LO will sleep better in the car.

He's being awful today, every time I try and feed him he goes ballistic and screams! Then it takes 10 minutes to calm him down! What is wrong?!

Charlie999 · 15/08/2007 10:00

bloody hell £12 for parking!!

Is he asking for food TA? When my LO does that, she usually isn't hungry and I'm trying to get it down her earlier than required as I'm going out or something. Hope he settles

trendaverter · 15/08/2007 10:24

I have no idea what he wants today...he acts hungry then screams when I give him the bottle. Usually when he is not hungry he just plays with the teat.

He just had 3oz then promptly vommed it all up again.

Forgive my unorthodox feeding methods tomorrow please ladies, LO is a monster

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 10:26

could mine be the only child in the world who doesn't like calpol?! gave her some before her jabs and she screamed fir 10 mins! I just said to her if you're like that with the calpol it's about to get a whole lot worse!

dh held her as 2 midwives tag teamed her and jabbed her at the same time! she cried a lot, then i fed her and she calmed down. she is very subdued now don't know what we will do if she needs calpol later!

trendaverter · 15/08/2007 10:43

Blimey these jabs sound horrendous

I am off to see the GP again later, DS is still having all sorts of problems feeding.

He either screams blue murder everytime I put the bottle in his mouth, or drinks then projectile voms, or drinks and is fine.

Have tried various combinations of comfort milk/teats/gaviscons/carobel mixers, but nothing actually seems to reliably work... it will work for one feed but not the next

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 10:46

ahhh, poor lamb, hope he feels better soon for both your sakes!

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 10:53

god that facebook malarky is tedious - sorry! if i haven't added you as a friend yet it's coz i haven't got round to it! so what's the deal, do you use it to contact each other?

annobal · 15/08/2007 11:01

Hi everyone, not sure if this has been done as haven't caught up but the horniman's meet-up is tomorrow. I think foxy and lilkel are getting there around 10-10.30, I'll be there at about 11.30 and holly was going to get there early afternoon. If you want to email me, i can send you my mob no. otherwise do you want to meet at, say, the cafe at 12? I'm going to bring a picnic lunch for my 2.

annobal · 15/08/2007 11:17

Sorry - email is my mn name @mac.com

foxybrown · 15/08/2007 12:22

not sure what lilkel is doing, we've communicated via facebook, gah! now i have to log on there too! i reckon 11ish for me.

yep, am taking a picnic too.

gotta go, heard kids talking biscuits and hotfooting it to their room. better go and spoil their fun

annobal · 15/08/2007 12:41

No problem, what arrangements have been made?

foxybrown · 15/08/2007 15:20

Have emailed you about tomorrow annobal.

daisyandbabybootoo · 15/08/2007 15:40

bumper...have you got a syringe for feeding DD the calpol. It goes in better that way and the measure is more accurate than the wee spoon thingy.

things a bit calmer here today, but DS fell out of the tree this morning and has given himself a fantastic scrape all the way up his back. It looks really sore.

i got a new mobile phone this morning...only problem is I've no idea how to send picture messages or connect it to e-mail or anything. It's got a radio apparently but I can't get that to work either....technology is wasted on me.

My sister and mum will arrive about 7 this evening...I can't wait!!!

If I don't get back on today, have a good meet-up tomorrow. Looks like it'll be quiet around here!

trendaverter · 15/08/2007 16:08

So correct me if I am wrong...
Hornimans cafe at 12 tomorrow?

sputnik · 15/08/2007 16:13

Any of you have webcam? You could do a live feed for those of us that can't make it

Hornimans cafe won't know whats hit it

bumperlicious · 15/08/2007 16:14

we used a syringe daisy, she just did not like it and spat half of it out! And so far today she has either been sleeping or crying poor little soul, she is not happy. Hope it doesn't go on all night...

annobal · 15/08/2007 16:24

oh Bumper, poor little thing!

Daisy, hope MRR is okay - it sounds nasty.

Horniman's cafe at 12 tomorrow. I will no doubt be the one red in the face and screaming at 2 boys
