Diva I don't recall you having a tummy worth speaking of!

Kitty I am thinking about moving Bertie to a cot but each night I think about doing it, I see his little sweet face and think, "nah".

I am feeling very sick and headache-y all of a sudden and I hope I'm not coming down with something. Especially as I don't want to pass anything on to Bertie.

Rosylily · 08/09/2007 16:58

Mossy take my quizz....................
Did you drink too much?
Have you been sunbathing?
Did you undercook your eggs?
Are you up the duff again?hee hee
Anyway get well soon, hope it doesn't escalate.

I suspect that I have pmt again...I seem to be getting it without the period, just the mood

Thanks for all the sympathy guys. Dh is coming up next week...hopefully we can work things out a bit.

I've just sorted out the cot(it had become a huge dumping ground) So that Hasan can sleep in it when I'm not sleeping...now he's rolling I can't leave him unattended in the bed. I hope he gets used to it ok. Maybe he'll gradually sleep there more though I like having him beside me all snuggly.

foxcub · 08/09/2007 20:21

Rosy - LOL at your cot becoming a dump9ng ground - that's what ours was for 5 months . Monti fell off the bed down the gap between the bed and the cot today and landed in a sitting up position, with his head e=wedged betwixt cot and bed, poor thing! He wasn't injured but was a bit scared and needed lots of cuddles. Hope you get some next week Rosy, from DH

talking of which I've had sex two nights running [snigger]

Mossy - I never got your magazine you sent - was it last week? Unless its called "Tools for Hire" or "Mini Boden" I deffo haven't seen it Maybe it got lost

Diva - well done on that bra - I so love a bargain!!

We're driving down to my Mum's tomorrow in Bath - hope car doesn't break down for 4th time

foxcub · 08/09/2007 20:22

"wedged" not "e-wedged" !!!

TheBlonde · 08/09/2007 20:28

Hello all

Glad to hear Diva got her bra
and Foxy is getting some action

We had a babysitter last night and actually went out for dinner no shagging though!

divastrop · 08/09/2007 21:44

pmsl@ e-wedged

rosy-i have PMT,although i am getting the periods as well.i have 3 weeks of PMT.i'm sure im ovulating twice in a cycle (is that possible?).

mossy-i was wearing a denim skirt,as usual, denim is stiff and holds it all in,unlike velvet.my flab bulge sticks out from under where the ribbons are,and my beely sticks out further than my boobs in the dress.

fox-had sex 2 nights running with who?

right,im off to join facebook so i can see this mossy pic.OMG am i on the turn?

divastrop · 08/09/2007 21:45

beely?is that short for beer-belly?been a fair few years since i had one of those.

kittywits · 08/09/2007 23:11

Sex?????
Never heard of it

OP posts:
sazzybee · 08/09/2007 23:14

What's sex?

I have posted a thread about throttling my mum in the relationships bit. She is doing my head in.

Oh well, off to bed. Perhaps it will all seem alright in the morning

Diva - you joined facebook?!

Rosylily · 09/09/2007 08:38

Congratulations to everyone getting serviced lucky devils!

Rosylily · 09/09/2007 08:41

Oh Diva do come on Facebook! If you make friends with Mossy then you'll find everyone else! Come on the rest of you! (It's fun)

Mossy · 09/09/2007 09:10

Rosy: Did you drink too much? No
Have you been sunbathing? No
Did you undercook your eggs? No
Are you up the duff again?winkhee hee. That would involve sex, wouldn't it? In that case, no.

But I'm feeling better today; not sure what on earth it was but a good hot curry made it go away.

Get you all with the action! Came close last night though... dh has actually rediscovered that I have boobs (it only took him five months). I told him that I didn't feel up to sex until he apologised of his own volition for being a complete arse for the last weeks of my pregnancy and the last few months since Bertie was born.

I said an apology now while you've had a few beers and are feeling randy means sweet fa. It'll have to come when you actually mean it.

I am Mossy, hear me roar!

Sazzy will go check out your thread.

Foxy I sent it ages ago, it was called a Mother's Guide to Breastfeeding, it's an NHS one. At the time I didn't know your name (and I wasn't sure what your dh would think of a brown envelope addressed to a Foxy!) so I just sent it to your address, but I can't see that would have made a difference?

I have a copy myself, I'll send you that one and see if I can nab another at breastfeeding group on Friday. It has all latch tips in it, and has loads of stuff about expressing and working too. Apologies it hasn't arrived, I'm not sure why that is .

My cot is a dumping ground too!

Diva I have sent you the Marh 07 group info on Facebook.

Now for some reason my facebook won't let me in, so don't know what that's about!! Ah well it'll come out in the wash.

Hope y'all have a lovely Sunday!!

Rosylily · 09/09/2007 10:04

Mossy, it was a hunger headache! I get that sometimes, that's why I just have to eat constantly

Your facebook is probably full up!

divastrop · 09/09/2007 12:18

kitty-im sure you must have had sex at some point?unless you were like me(untill the last time)and thought pregnancy was a result of drinking far too much alcohol

sazzy-yes i have moved over to the dark side.it was a certain thread to do with smoking that was the last straw for me.

i have a headache now and feel fed up.oh well at least its monday tomorrow.

muppethasakitten · 09/09/2007 16:19

Hey has anyone on here tried to add me to their friends on facebook? Cos someone called Clare nominated me but i don't recognise the name? Ignored it but then suddenly wondered if it was any of you lot ... sorry if it was...

divastrop · 09/09/2007 17:09

muppet-it was me

Rosylily · 09/09/2007 17:20

groan, I'm knackered and premenstrual and that's my excuse for all the marshmallows I've eaten

All my children are napping and I should be sorting laundry

Muppet and Diva are you on facebook? Come and join the march crew group! So I can add you and throw sheep at you

kittywits · 09/09/2007 17:52

Diva, I have only ever had sex 6 times in my current relationship

OP posts:
Mossy · 09/09/2007 18:30

Muppet are you on facebook? Come and find me, I'm Ruth Moss, Manchester network. Profile pic is currently a little baby that looks a bit like Bertie, but isn't, and is in a gingham dress, late seventies style... wonder who it could be?

Rosy do you mind me asking, if you are premenstrual, when did your period return? I have heard that they can return when you start introducing solids, is that when it happened for you? I'll 'av get me mooncup out then!

kittywits · 09/09/2007 18:46

Mossy, thet thought of mooncups makes me want to barf

OP posts:
sazzybee · 09/09/2007 21:00

kitty - and I thought were such a lentil-weaving type too! I have got a mooncup. Still in its box. When do periods come back incidentally? I'm tempted to carry on bfing for ever so I can avoid them ...

Today has been a day of crying. Elliot is usually very happy but I put him down for a nap at 4.30, then he pooed so I changed him and put him back. Then he cried and cried and cried and cried. In the end I grabbed him out of the cot, shoved him in the carseat and drove up the M1. I can only think his teeth are really hurting him - he is just whingey the whole time and it's a bit much tbh.

I can give him to my evil mother as of Tuesday though while I scramble up mountains. And if she gives him low-fat yoghurt I don't care [evil mother emoticon].

Diva - where do you live? I'm going to Ulverston!

divastrop · 09/09/2007 21:51

sazzy-i live in barrow,8 miles from ulverston!why are you going there?how long will you be in the area?
have you tried teething gel/teething powders/calpol/infant nurofen?(all at once)

Elsie has one and a half teeth now.

mossy-have you seen this thread?(about bf pics being banned off facebook).

rosy-i have joined and sent you a friend thingy.

erm,i dont know who a couple of people are on the march 07 lot.i am paranoid about my dress so i had ds1 take a couple of photos of me in to email my mum for an honest opinion.i have put the photos on facebook(i look like a miserable cos in them..cos i am today).

kitty-my dd1 said to me today 'mum, how many times have you had sex?is it 5?'i said no,it is more than 100,people dont just have sex to make babies no matter what your nan might say.she said 'i know that, everybody needs to have fun'.sometimes i forget shes not even 9 yet.

ive been considering a mooncup as i spend a small fortune on tampons every month.they always fall out when i go to the toilet.there was a thread about it a couple of weeks back and morningpaper suggested i try a mooncup or a sheep.

sazzybee · 09/09/2007 22:08

I am going to be doing a bit of walking and climb Scafell which I've never made it up because the weather's always been too shit. So we'll see how that goes.

OMG - I've just read that smoking thread It is all a wee bit sanctimonious around here sometimes. I'm surprised no one's reported me to social services for admitting that I regularly leave DS in the house on his own or I'd never take the bins out

foxcub · 09/09/2007 22:13

Oh dear I am a bit pissed on a very rough bottle of Chardonnay

Went to Wiltshire today and car didn't break down! Yahhayyy!!

Diva - so you are Clare then? Was wondering...will make friends

Mossy - if you want to send mag put your address on back - shall I text you my address again? When I return to work in a couple of weeks I'll photopcpy bits I like and return to you if you can't get another copy

Wish me luck Grrls, for my meeting with my boss tomorrow re. flexible working application - I am half scared half looking forward to it as he's generally nice guy

BTW What is a "mooncup" - can anyone explain? I have up until now been too embarassed to ask!

foxcub · 09/09/2007 22:16

Diva - A sheep stuffed up yer fanjo???

[hic!]

Sazzy - LOL at leaving DS to put bins out - you bad mother, you!!
