charcoal???? You know I thought of coal mines .

We have had the first pleasant evening with Kate in ages. Now, I think that she may have been hungry for the last few days... hence being so unsettled and not sleeping properly. She hasn't been interested in solids - but, today I have made sure to get lots in to her, as well as feeding and she seems much happier. It's lovely to have my girl back .

True Foxy... we need a wet weather plan - any suggestions Kitty? I will be content anywhere with a glass of vino!!

kittywits · 27/08/2007 23:08

Charcol's really good for getting rid of excess gas

Wet weather plan? Um, dunno, um ,can't face indoor play areas (barfs). My place? What are we going to do if weather's good? Sorry, my brain left me a while back

kitty... simple, if the weather is good we will sit in the sun with a bottle of plonk .

I don't get out much !!!

kittywits · 27/08/2007 23:11

Cool, I've got a big garden. If it's wet we can sit in the house with plonk!

London would be grand as have brothers there and tis only one train trip which would mean I could feasibly take dd and drop ds1 off at his dads...

thanks loads!

foxcub · 28/08/2007 12:24

Piffle that would be a good plan by the sounds of it

Kitty we could all bring a rug and a picnic perhaps - you could provide a bottle opener!

Piffle · 28/08/2007 12:58

oh gets better my brother is having a party that weekend in London

Piffle · 28/08/2007 13:09

kiwibella · 28/08/2007 15:53

Mossy · 28/08/2007 17:38

of your meetup! Still, now you're nearly all on facebook we can have a cybermeetup!

Diva my photo is of me and Bertie looking glam, so no one will get any ideas!!

... although if David Tennant's on facebook, that might be slightly different!!

kittywits · 28/08/2007 18:31

Ah Piffle, I've got 2 bells we can swing together

I'm on facebook but I don't understand it

OP posts:
Piffle · 28/08/2007 19:23

neither me kitty
I just click on allsorts and hope for the best
All I want is to get some communication with my sodding brothers
Today he said
You're no one if you're not on facebook sis...
So remind me why do I want to talk to them again

foxcub · 28/08/2007 20:09

Well if that's true Piffle, I must get on there too !!

Its my birthday on Thursday. The west London MN posse bought me some beauty treatment vouchers when Monti was born, so I have booked myself an Aboriginal Australian massage!! Sounds great and I can't wait to be pummelled

kittywits · 28/08/2007 20:43

ooh foxy, sounds fab.
It's my 40th at the end of Sept (sniffle, sob) and I would LOVE a pamper day.

I, not going to organise ANYTHING though because i am being childish

foxcub · 28/08/2007 21:37

40?

So young, so young....

sazzybee · 28/08/2007 21:41

here you all are! I've been such a motormouth today I couldn't find this thread in my list of things I was on.

spongecake - I can't believe I forgot to say congrats yesterday . So hurrah and belated congratulations! Do you feel different?!

mossy - I think Elliot will be fine at nursery. He's very happy to go to anyone, always has a smile for everyone and is pretty chilled generally. I however expect to be a weeping wreck. Still, 3 days a week for the rest of the year is much better than I expected. BUT I am seriously considering leaving London. There is a possibility I could transfer to Reading and do a 4 day week. My mum has said she'd look after E one day then and so he'd only have to be in nursery 2 days. But I've been here 20 years and don't know anyone there. Decisions, decisions ...

diva - pmsl at your trumping. I have terrible wind but I'm not on ads so I've got no excuse.

Hope you have a lovely birthday fox - that sounds like it would be very nice indeed.

Facebook? I'm scared! And too old ...

Ooh kiwi - that was exactly what Elliot was like but he's now back to normal. Seems to be very common around this age. You'd think there would be something in the books

shanks313 · 28/08/2007 22:02

Quick pop in,Im on mossys facebook too so look for me lol

Now bed ,Im sooooo tired...had the flu all week and still recovering, not good on top of the pregnancy.

divastrop · 28/08/2007 22:03

cyber meet up on facebook?

i think this thread is going to die

mossy-i had a photo of me+ds2 on a WAP chat site i went on.it didn't stop people getting ideas, trust me

btw, were you serious about crashing the wedding?

LaidbackinEngland · 28/08/2007 22:14

Heeeeeeeeeeelllooooo !

Sorry to have disappeared on you lt for several weeks ! I have moved down to Devon and we have been busy cleaning, gardening, decorating, geting the kids into schools etc etc.

Amos is cool. He has two fangs which are a little testing when it comes to feeding, but as my DH pointed out I like when he does it !! He weighs some ungodly amount - 20lbs or something and is a real smasher. He is bundled about buy the older two the while time - poor little thing.

Can't wait for DS1 to get back to school next week - 18 months of home education has made me slightly barmy

Will read through all our news now I am back online. Am also dipping my toe on facebook, will join on Mossys - feel free to add me to yours to swell the ranks ( have spent an inordinate amount of time today loking up ex boyfriends who - on the whole have lost their looks ! )

Hope all your bubbas are thriving. Anyone expecting another yet ?

Fab to be back !

Mossy · 29/08/2007 07:38

Diva I would love to go to your wedding if you were serious about inviting me.... but I don't have any fancy clothes as my money is running out so I'd be coming in my bogstandard long red dress that I wear to everything nice these days!!! But if not don't worry I won't be offended I know you want a small gathering!!!

Kitty what date is your birthday? Foxy your massage sounds fabulous!!

Laidback have added you on facebook. I got another facebook friend request and I've no idea who it's from but I've assumed it is one of you lot so I have added them! I may now find out it's a hairy knuckled trucker though!!

As for babies, Shanks and Jay are expecting, have I missed someone else?

Piffle · 29/08/2007 11:07

i'm jane bucknell on facebook btw

Mossy · 29/08/2007 12:39

Yes I know I have added you...

...don't know who this other lady is, I thought it was Foxy but her birthday is tomorrow and this lady's is today....

very odd!!

foxcub · 29/08/2007 13:16

Mossy I gave you and Kitty a "poke" last night - whatever that is. Sounds a bit dubious!!

divastrop · 29/08/2007 13:25

ooooh a mystery admirer.or cyber-stalker

hi laidback.lol@your dh's comment re teeth.not quite the same i would imagine.

talking of ex's i saw one of mine outside tesco today and he looks like a right dosser, all spotty and crusty like a glue sniffer or something.hehehe.

i had a sort out of dd2's 6-9 month clothes last night and couldnt find any vests till i realised i'd only put them away in febuaryi think she and Elsie are going to be in the same size clothe before long, and by the time they are 3/4 i will be getting asked 'are they twins?'

Piffle · 29/08/2007 13:28

hey my MIL's birthday is today
