muppethasakitten · 21/08/2007 16:06

trying to find piccie of my dress - may just have to photo it hanging up! Will NOT be modelling it!

divastrop · 21/08/2007 17:02

oh go on muppet...you know you want to

Elsie is being a PITA with her feeds today.when she finally stops faffing about long enough to drink she only takes 3/4oz at the most.and now shes looking at me all cute and making me feel guilty.oh well,if shes up half the night wanting fed then so be it.at least i would get some time with her without dd2 sitting on her/trying to kiss her/hit her/throw things at her/roll her over.

codyryley · 21/08/2007 17:12

hi foxcub. i had ryley on the 19th march this year, i also have a 2 1/2 yr old cody both boys! im getting settled into a routine now having both of them but they are both demanding of my attention and i wish i could split in 2!!

foxcub · 21/08/2007 18:34

Nice names codyryley

How is Cody coping, not being the centre of attention any more?

I've got DS1 7, DD 4 and DS2 (Monti) who was born on 6 March, so very close to Ryley!

Muppet - go on find a link, girl!! Has Samuel had any solids yet?

Diva - Monti was being a right PITA the last few days too. He keeps crying for a feed, then falling alseep about 20 aseconds into his feed. Leaving me all milky with no where to go!!

foxcub · 21/08/2007 21:28

Monti is crawling backwards !!

foxcub · 21/08/2007 21:47

OMG - Monti has his two bottom teeth coming through!

LunarSea · 21/08/2007 22:12

wow - 2 milestones in 20 minutes!

kiwibella · 21/08/2007 22:18

fabbo shoes Muppet... I can't get in to heels so very

I'm toasted - bloody fingers everywhere!!

Been in Milton Keynes today with a delicious friend. First time we have spent together with Kate which was precious. Came home and hubs had a client (hahahaha, taking a friend's piccie!!) who needed entertaining with vino... brill .

Diva... even more tempted now we have the venue . Six is good for me - only need one wine. Diva's wedding vs Rugby World Cup hmmmmmm.

Welcome Codyryley... glad things are working out with your two boys.

Awesome news that your two cherubs are having a good day Piff. That is some relief. I'm keen to make Brighton an overnighter if you will be staying down there.

We are good for early - midweek since I'm organising a black tie event on 27th. Depending on Piffle's dd's birthday party, of course.

One more week and I'm back to work Full time for me. Visited Kate's nursery this morning and more convinced that we have made the right choice.

kiwibella · 21/08/2007 22:18

Kate's bottom tooth has cut through too... not sure if it is giving her trouble or that we have been out / busy all day that she won't settle.

foxcub · 21/08/2007 22:42

aww Monti's and kates teeth arrive on the same day - how sweet

Enjoy your last week off Kiwi. What do you work as again? Is it even organising, or Education?

kiwibella · 21/08/2007 23:01

thanks Foxy... I'm a teacher... also chair of our local NZ Maori (kids) group.

kiwibella · 21/08/2007 23:02

local meaning London?!?! .

eidsvold · 21/08/2007 23:09

dd3 has gone into her cot - grown out of the moses basket She loves being able to look about - am sure that is part of the reason she was more settled last night - did not feel the need to wake dh and I to 'play' as she could just check out the room. my baby is growing up.

very very very dribbly at the moment - teeth must be there somewhere. She loves her cuddly hippo thing and it gets a good chew and slobber every time we go out in the car.

All this talk of going back to work. I am trying to think of something little that I can do at the moment but I am finding I am not getting enough time for the things I already do.

Had a better time last night with dd3 - just dd1 and dd2 coming into our room last night.

Very rainy windy and wild last night so the other two joined us. Then sent dd2 back to bed cause she was not sleeping and dh and I need every bit of sleep we can. Cue big tears and me very uncomfy in her bed for a while.

Easy day so might try and take a nap after lunch when they do.

dd3 is full of chuckles and smiles and lots and lots of talking. Rolled over a couple of times.

nothing exciting here really - other than hanging out for our few days at the beach.

Piffle · 22/08/2007 09:33

Eids I am wondering about the future as well, seeing as Finn is my last, would like to retrain but need to be there for dd before and after school so will look into that in about 18 mths time.

Finn def has teeth coming through, both bottom ones, can feel the ridges in one of the teeth he seems fine with it, dribbling loads etc

welcome Codyryley, sounds like you have your hands full too!

Brighton for a few days in half term sounds like a plan then! Could always tweak dd's party for start of hols.

Finn has been up on hands and knees a few times, and rolls from bakc to front all the time - he will only be on his tummy. He can sit really well usually other times pretends he cannot

I think he is ready for food now, am holding off a bit longer though

right frinds due any sec gotta go!
xxx

codyryley · 22/08/2007 09:55

i put ryley in his big cot now as well.

everybodies babies seem to be doin so well!!

ryley has been dribbling loads since he was born so who knows when his teeth will come through!

how much does eveybodies babies weigh? just had ryley weighed on monday and he weighs 19lb 12 ozs!! completely opposite to cody who was that weight when he turned one!

cody is up and down with ryley but lately he has been really good with him and really protective kissing him all time.

ryley keeps rolling onto his tummy then screaming at me coz he is stuck and cant do anything else!!!

muppethasakitten · 22/08/2007 11:18

my dd didnt get her 1st tooth til she was over 1 year

ds1 was about 8 months so i don't expect Samuel to get any for a while.

Yes foxy he is having solids now - only baby rice or fruit purees but i couldnt keep a 20lb baby going on my milk alone any longer!

Its pouring with rain here - i am starting to go a bit crazy with not being able to be outside much.

divastrop · 22/08/2007 11:37

codyryley-welcome

theres 2.5 years between my 3rd and 4th children.i found it hard work to start with but they are great now.

i can feel Elsie's 2 bottom teeth under her gums, and shes been dribbling loads.she loves talking, she says 'ma' 'do' 'goo' etc.she can roll from front to back easily but cant quite roll from back to front(everytime she tries dd2 pushes her back).

bella-where i live is about a 6 hour drive from london(or 4 1/2 hours on the train).this is where i am getting married

right better go and feed the monsters

evenhope · 22/08/2007 13:01

Just put DD down in her pram awake and she went to sleep! First time.

Otherwise she doesn't seem to be doing as much as everyone else. No teeth and no sign of crawling. She can roll from front to back, but only from back to front in bed.

Having said that, she does sit with support and none of my others sat until long after they could walk around the furniture.

foxcub · 22/08/2007 14:03

Diva - that registary office looks realy nice and light. What time do you want us all to turn up on the day then LOL!

Excuse my french, but this weather is bloody awful!

I want my money back!!

codyryley · 22/08/2007 14:09

muppet- did they say anything about your baby's weight? im not sure if ryley is ready for solids as he isnt showing the usual signs. they said to me as he is a big boy hold off for as long as poss but i dont wanna make the poor boy starve!!

diva- when are you getting married?? i have been married nearly 2 years and it feels like yesterday! we got married on our 4 yr anniversary of bein together.

even- its lovely when they do that as it means you can get on with stuff. ryley does that quite often but not if he is over tired or in a funny mood, then i have to rock him to sleep

kiwibella · 22/08/2007 14:47

exactly Foxy... we have almost been given an invite!!

Shall we go for slap-bang in the middle of the week of October half term?? Wednesday 4 October... or does that really muck up the whole week????

Ideas for Diva's hen night too ???

kiwibella · 22/08/2007 14:47

Wednesday 24 October

divastrop · 22/08/2007 17:58

codyr-i am getting married on october 20th.

the wedding is at 11.15am so most of my relatives are coming up the day before and staying over somewhere i believe.dont have any spare room now both lo's are in together.

the landlord of next door is haing it made into a 5 bedroom by turning the bathroom into a bedroom.i am very curious as to where the bathroom is going to be though.dp says that it wont be the same layout as ours but i thought all 19th century terraces were generally built to the same design.

maybe he's not going to put a bathroom in but provide an outside loo and tin bath,as it would have been when it was built.

ive been at the park most of the afternoon making the most of the sunshine.its scorching up here!

i bought a 3-wheel double buggy from a charity shop as im sick of that 'bendy bus' now.

foxcub · 22/08/2007 18:08

Is your house Victorian Diva? It sounds huge

Kiwi - yes shall we go for 24th?

How is 24th for all ye southeners??

I'm tempted to go to Brighton next Weds, Thurs or Friday if its sunny. Its so hard to predict the weather which means I can't even attempt to organise anything

foxcub · 22/08/2007 18:10

Codyryley/Muppet - I keep away from health visitors so I haven't had Monti weighed since he was 2 weeks old. No idea what his weight is but he is HUGE! ...half baby/half giant I sometimes think

He keeps nipping me with his new teeth as he pulls off the boob [ouch]
