Turns out we DId pay them by DD and they have accepted our cheque, but they still sent the debt collecting letter??? They are going to send a cheque (to our NEW address) to cover what THEY OWE US! Argh! I quite liked them before this too!
Now I just have to sort out Tesco Car Ins and the Student Loans Co.

Charlee · 27/09/2007 11:46

I actually USED my breadmaker last night and was greeted this morning by a lovley warm Apricot and Cherry loaf - i'm dead chuffed!

I may bake cakes later...................................... Domestic Godess over night or what!

On a not so cherfull nte, harry has 4 yes count em 4 top teeth coming thorugh at once and poor love has nearly had me in the insane asylum which his constant crying and climbing up my leg.

podglet · 27/09/2007 13:15

Oooh Charlee - apricot and cherry - sounds gorgeous - I use my breadmaker all the time but forget to do "interesting" things with it!

Not fun for H though at the moment then (or you!) DS has 2 teeth coming through...

Had a scare here Tues evening. I caught DS putting something in his mouth but thought he had either spat it out or swallowed it. I started to give him his tea and he choked on the first mouthful, went grey and stopped breathing - I grabbed him and was running to the phone to dial 999 when he coughed and brought up a tiny bit of blood. He then seemed fine (polished off the rest of his tea) but was then extremely sick when I put him to bed. He is fine now but it was really scary I can only assume he swallowed what he had picked up and it may have scratched his throat a bit?

Good luck with Virgin, mygirl, we have had probs with Sky here and the change of address.

Charlee · 27/09/2007 13:28

Oh scary Podglet! I have had that with harry and Jack many a times! It seems like forever when it happens doesn't it?

I am totally freaking out now, even though i tested i still have no period! I am going to be royally screwed if im pregnant, i think dp will seriously leave us i really do.

My mum has got a date for her operation 28th Oct which i am also getting in a right state about, its so risky and she barley came through the first to. I will be destroyed if i loose her now. (i know thats really selfish but its all i an think of at the moment)

mygirllollipop · 27/09/2007 13:32

Wow Charlee! Podglet - how scary, hope everything is OK today with him. Virgin is sorted out, rang Tesco CAr Ins. too and that's sorted, I wonder if RM are REALLY delayed or there is a prob with my cheques. The prob with Tesco was an 'additional premium' as I changed my address, I send cheque, they sent another letter saying they would cancel policy if I didn't pay them the additional policy within 7 days. I rang them and they said disregard letter. Now I need to get on to the Student Loans Co. as they sent me out someone else details including her anme, DOB, bank details, addresses, mobile, daughters name. I wrote to them and they have addressed the issue I needed to write to them about but not the issue of them breaching confidentiality of this other woman.

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 27/09/2007 21:52

oh charlee you'll be fine love its just because you're freaking. wishing your mum well for her op! [hug]

podglet glad hes ok now, poor little mite, they do these things just to scare us you know! [hug]

mygirl, how annoying! hope everything gets sorted, am also about this other womans details. poor cow!

well ds is getting his right top canine tooth and has a horrible fever and is being clingy with it! just what i need!

on the up side have nearly got the end of my first avon order (put the order in tomo) and have over £250! if i get to £300 then that gives me £75! am chuffed, doing really well and only had 2 weeks to do it!

saralou · 28/09/2007 09:05

morning all...

charlee i'm sure your ok, stress can stop periods and you've had a bit of that lately haven't you! plus your body is still getting over having a baby, it can take 1-2 years to get back to 'normal' relax... all is ok! ok?

podglet, that sounds really scary, glad he's ok now!!

i'm getting my hair cut today... 1st time since january it needs help!!!

saralou · 28/09/2007 09:07

and ds2 has taken steps... all on his own!! pretty damn impressive (considering his big bro didn't even attempt to let go till he was 17months!!)

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 28/09/2007 09:08

oh sara! you now need more eyes than ever!

ds is trying but hes too lardy and cant balance properly!

having said that dd didnt walk until 18months so im hoping to keep him crawling for a while for the sake of my own sanity!

Debz99 · 28/09/2007 12:41

Hello

My DS has been walking for about a week and half and is now getting so confident he is running ! Needless to say we are getting many bruises and screams !!! He looks really strange walking doesn't look big enough LOL !

Charlee I'm sure you are ok being PG is not the only reason for the lack of a period like the others have said stress can be a big factor, so treat yourself and try and chill out for a bit and I'm sure you will be cursing the stomach cramps soon !

Poglet .... wow you are brave PG again !

Hope you are all doing ok.

NatalieJane · 28/09/2007 13:05

Morning all

Charlee, fingers crossed for your mum, and echo everyone else about your periods

Podglet, how scary for you, glad he is OK now, the mad thing is that he will have forgotten all about it now, and I bet you are watching him like a hawk for the next week or so!
Sara, aww bless those first few steps, George is a wuss, he won't let go, infact he has given me light bruises where I've tried to get him to stand alone and he has grabbed me so tightly!

Speaking of George, we got woken up by him this morning with him sat up in (our) bed holding his nappy up in the air and having a wee all over the bed, it was 4.40 FFS and the day has just got better and better.....

Well, I have been into town and started the birthday/christmas shopping properly, come home, checking through the reciepts (so I could work out how much to tell DH about, and how much to keep to myself....! It is a life saving measure, if he knew it all I'd be 6 foot under before tea time ) realised I have left a bag of stuff that I've paid for in Woolies, so now I am waiting for George to finish his lunch, so we can go all the way into town to pick the bloody things up.

Thing is I had the buggy that full that I was literally holding it up so it wouldn't tip over, and the stuff was that heavy I could only just about lift it onto the bus, was looking forward to having a cigarette and a brew and sitting down for a while before I have to pick DS1 up, never mind eh?

We are off out tonight to see the Blackpool Illuminations, they get worse every year, and every year we still go and queue up for about 3 hours to drive through them, DS1 loves it though, and if George manages to keep his eyes open he will as well.

Hey, did anyone see the Hotel Inspector on channel 5 last night?

mygirllollipop · 28/09/2007 14:46

Similar thing NJ - DD4 was being fed to sleep last night and she can ake her trousers and top off so was in bed in only her top and nappy, lights out and she takes her nappy off whilst BF'ing - now that's what I call mutli-tasking!

Charlee · 28/09/2007 19:43

Evening everyone

I am NOT pg haev got af finally, i have never been so pleased to see it! Thakns for your reassuring words.

Still really worried about mom and tbh i probably will be untill she is out the otherside and is in the clear.

Just a quick message as having a chinese and watching film with DP tonight.

mygirllollipop · 30/09/2007 09:50

Congrats Charlee on not being pg! When is your mams op?

Charlee · 30/09/2007 10:05

Go in 8th Oct op will be done 29th so positive thought please, im am going to be a totaly mess that day i will forwarn everyone.

mygirllollipop · 30/09/2007 19:54

Oh Charlee I'll make sure I'm on MSN that day, you know I'm around most days anyway.

podglet · 01/10/2007 10:13

Hi girls,

Charlee - hurrah for af arriving for you! Did you get through all your recent birthdays ok? Fingers crossed for your mum, what is the op for?

NJ - yes, twas v scary but you are right, he had forgotten all about it 5 mins later and was merrily polishing off the rest of his tea, and yes I have been watching like a hawk!

Thankfully, DS hasn't worked out how to remove nappies / clothes yet (apart from socks) so no nappy nightmares here!

Charlee · 01/10/2007 15:40

Podglet - It's her 3rd Heart Valve replacement surgery. She had an emergency one 2yrs ago and another 1 a years before that.

KaybeeandZak · 01/10/2007 20:32

Congrats Charlee on not being pg! Hope your Mum is ok.

Podglet how scary for you, thank god your ds was alright.

Zak has a cold at the moment and a cough, and has decided he doesnt want to eat anything all day.... Is this normal? He's never reallly been off his food like this before. He started walking with the walker on the weekend, it's so cute!!!!

Am now about 12 weeks pg so am starting to feel a bit better that I was, though still soooooooo tired!! Poor DH gets home from work so late we only see each other for an hour before i am crawling off to bed!

mygirllollipop · 02/10/2007 09:18

Ooh ooh ooh, I think we may have a chicken spot on DD4's nose! She's not too bothered by it TBH she's just walking around. She can change direction mid walk now so she can get anywhere!

Charlee · 02/10/2007 09:23

Blimey, is Harry the only baby not walking yet?

We went to see Jimmy Carr live on Saturday it was wicked, we got to meet him and have loads of signed goodies! He was really nice to speak to in RL. (pics on profile)

littlemissmischief · 02/10/2007 10:25

Morning everyone im in a jolly good mood this morning (for a change).
I have a rough few weeks, the doctor put me back on the ad's i've been getting REALLY annoyed with dp lately and Alfie has been in the wars and been hardly sleeping. Ive also been worrying that my M.E is coming back and im so frightened it is as i couldnt even get out for bed when I had it before, so in sheer desperation I rang the hv yesterday about Alfie's sleeping, I asked if it could be night terrors but she thinks he is a bit too young but did think that cos I rock him to sleep and then put him in his cot he is scared when he wakes up, so we did controlled crying last night to get him to go to sleep on his own, he cried for about an hour and when i went in to lie him back down his eyes were bright red and i felt so guilty but he slept until 5.20am and I did the same and he fell asleep on his own again and then he woke up at 10.00am!!!!!!
I got dressed and did my make up etc.. all at my leisure it was lush..
Charlee im so you got to see Jimmy Carr i love him, Good luck to your mum and i'll be on msn (cos i always am) if you need a chat Alfie isnt walking yet either, he can stand on his own but falls over when he tries to take a step.
My Girl I hope dd is ok with the chicken pox
Kaybee - Glad your feeling a bit better now you've reached 12 weeks
NJ luckily ds cant get his nappy off either so I havent had nappy flinging yet!
Hope everyone is ok x

mygirllollipop · 02/10/2007 13:18

Charlee - I still think it's early for them to be walking really. DD3 didn't walk 'til 12 months, but the other three all walked at 10 months. However my children don't get teeth! DD3 got teeth when she was 10 months, but the oldest two were over a year, DD4 seems to be going the same way.
Well DD4 has another spot on her chest and some round her mouth - if they are chickenpox they are slow (otherwise she might just need a bath!). She's done the nappy thinga couple more times too.
I'm waiting on two new bookcases today.

podglet · 02/10/2007 13:51

Hi all,

Hurrah on reaching 12 weeks Kaybee - I am now 9 + 3 so looking forward to entering the "safer" time. Have you told everybody yet?

Another non walker here but he will stand and hold onto things with one hand and cruise the furniture.

Cool pics Charlee Jimmy Carr is a funny chap!

mygirl, hope DD4 doesn't suffer too badly with the dreaded pox!

podglet · 02/10/2007 13:53

LMM - sorry missed you off! How lovely to be able to get up and dressed in peace! Glad you both slept better too.
