Morning all, I have tried to catch up but just haven't had a proper chance yet, but of what I've gathered:

Don't know if I am more or at the new mummies-to-be, Congrats to both of you!!
Sara, I hope things with DP have settled down a bit, as always you have my email if you ever wanna off load.
Stacey, seems like you have had a bit of a rough time lately, how is your dad now? I am really dissapointed for you about the house/money thing, your poor DP must have been going out of his head with worry Good on you for trying to get it sorted ASAP.
Charlee, If you have been having sex without using anything get a test!!! C'mon woman, sooner you know the better!! (And I am soooooooooo impatient, don't stretch it out for all of us!!! ) Seriously, you know we are all here for you, what ever happens

Sorry if I have missed anyone/thing out, it has been a bit hectic around here for the last couple of weeks, we have decided that we are moving to Spain as soon as the house sells (though we aren't putting it on the market till after Christmas) so I am spending most of my spare 5 minutes a day, getting stuff sorted out in preparation. I can't wait to get out of here though, I am sick of the people around here, but anyway, speaking of Christmas, has anyone started yet? I have

George has his 8 months check tomorrow (when he will be not that far off 10 months - go figure ) Will be interesting to see how much he weighs now. He had to have his eyes tested last week, we think he has a slight squint in his left eye (I have one so we were sort of looking for it) nothing bad showed up, but she is keeping him on her books with 6 monthly appointments so they can keep an eye on it (excuse the pun!!!) So that is now both of them on 6 monthly eye checks...

Just quickly before I finish, if you can be bothered to read anymore, I bought George a big teddy of Noddy, when you press Noddy's hand he nods his head and sings the theme tune, George laughed his head of in Woolies when I picked it up, brought it home, showed him it again and he cried his heart out, bless him, he is shit scared of it out of the box for some reason...???! Wierd child!

Right, I am off to get DS1 showered, catch you all later xxx

Charlee · 24/09/2007 08:20

I haven't been having unprotected sex!
In the words of Rachael from friends

'Everyone can wear what they're suposed to but one of thoses guys just gets through! Maybe the have tools or something!'

But seriously i don't think i can be but i supose i had best test just in case........................................................ will have to wait untill i can get to a chemist or tesco.

mygirllollipop · 24/09/2007 09:01

LMMC - was no probs will be around today too I should think what with the crappy weather.
Charlee - I agree with getting a test. However I am fuming as I has the first AF since DD4 was born and it lassted 2 weeks, count em 2 whole weeks, 14 days (actually it was 15)!!! Not a happy bunny, but at least I won't have AF for my girlie weekend away in 3weeks (touch wood it better stay away), oh and it meant I got to try out the mooncup!
Nj - DD3 had toys like that, that she loved in the shops or was just sh!t scared when it was home or when anyone else bought them!
I hope to get DD4 weight on Wed she hasn't bn weight since ooooooooooh tlet's forget that question, next!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 24/09/2007 09:30

hi everyone.

well my dads being moved to kings today so they can sort out his liver (they're gunna glue it ) hes up and about now as tey removed his cathetar and hes onl got a glucose drip now so they can try and figure out how much isulin he needs!

ds hasnt even had his 8 month check yet, he having it fri, when hs nearly 11 months will be hoping hes big enough to go intoa fwd facing car seat as his legs are getting too long for the rwd one!

gotta go out in the rain today! oh!

and yes NJ iv started and practically finished xmas, although we're on v tight budget and if we weren't then i wouldnt have!

NatalieJane · 24/09/2007 10:49

Charlee, have you tested yet, have ya have ya have ya???!!!

Stace, Fingers crossed for your Dad's op (any idea when it will be?) I expect he is feeling better being able to get about a bit? And I am hearing you about going out in this shite weather, I have to aswell

Mygirl, Aren't they funny with their toys? Although he is much more interested in opening the living room door and trying to get up the stairs to worry about such things like toys....... Which reminds me, I really must get round to putting the stair gate on if I ever get a couple of minutes!

Right, I am going to feed and change his Royal Highness and get into town before it rains again - hopefully!

podglet · 24/09/2007 11:06

Morning all, sorry not been around for a couple of days. New house needs lots of work and we have been busy with that.

Just back from docs (DS nice and cosy under raincover, Mummy needs a change of clothes coz she is wet through) and all booked in with mw and hosp (going to have consultant led care for this pg coz of probs I had whilst pg with DS) - starting to get real now!

Stacey - hope your dad is feeling better now he is able to get up. When is his op at Kinga?

Charlee - test, test test test! Hope you get the result you want...

NJ - how exciting! Where in spain do you want to go? My IL's have a house about an hour south of Alicante it it is fab!

LMM - I do want to be your MSN buddy but I can't work out how to add you on. I will look properly later.

Hope nobody gets too wet today

mygirllollipop · 24/09/2007 13:36

Stacey - that's good news.
NJ - ah yes Xmas shopping, WE have got DD1 and 2 a Wii, and DD3 has got a Island of Sodor set with some extra trains and carriages. DD4 will prob just get a Roll-a-Round toy or something as she is still a bit young. And after spending that much money (plus for the DDs cousins and grandparents) I don't think Santa will have much left for his rounds!
NJ - hope you can still chat when you move to Spain!
Podglet - if you go into hotmail and go to contacts, click on LLMC's name (or add her) and click use this contact with MSN messenger on the LHS. HTH

Charlee · 24/09/2007 18:10

Did a test it was NEG! yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

NatalieJane · 24/09/2007 19:35

How exciting for you Podglet, here we all are counting down to first birthdays and there you are starting all over again! We haven't decided fully where abouts in Spain, but we are looking at either the Costa Blanca or maybe Costa Tropical, it depends more on where DH can find suitable work.

Mygirl, I'm told that in Spain if you are very lucky, you can get a phone line good enough for brandband, you are quite lucky to get a phone line good enough for dial up, and you are just about normal to be able to get a phone line at all, so who knows if I will still be able to talk!

Charlee glad you are pleased with the result

Charlee · 24/09/2007 20:00

Lol i sound like a right heartless cow being so pleased not to be preggers but seriously i just can't cope with another child especially since i have 25% chance it would have CF if i did.

mygirllollipop · 25/09/2007 08:52

Charlee - glad you tested and glad it was the result you wanted, AF will come now you are not so worried about it.
NJ - oh no, can't believe you might not be able to chat!!!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 25/09/2007 09:40

oh god, the poor spanish people if NJ cant get on MN! i feel sorry for them

well............my dad walked out the hospital!

i went to tidy up for when my um got home last night and there he was sat on the sofa!!!

apparantly they got him all ready for the transfer, sat waiting for transport to be told his bed has been given away and he'll be in the current hospital for 3-4 days before another becoems available.

and seeing as all they are doing is giving him tablets to stop his stomach from starting to bleed again (which he has as they gave him them to take to kings) and have him on IV's of Glucose and insulin he decided he didn't really need to be there. so walked out, with a woman running behind him saying 'but you can't just leave you have to sign something'

just like my dad that!

but he does have a docs appointment for weds, he will get a referal to a different hospital as he has private insurance he will be seen there either thurs or fri! so probably quicker anyway!

did give my mum the shock of her life when she got home!

littlemissmischief · 25/09/2007 11:03

Stacey glad your dad is feeling alot better.
NJ no internet!!!!
Charlee im glad you got the result you wanted and your not evil for wanting the best for your family hun
Well Alfie woke up screaming in the night, actually writhing around in agony the poor boy i put it down to his teeth cos he has the 2 bottom ones and one coming at the top (all in 2 weeks) and his nose is streaming, but i took his nappy off this morning and his willy is all swollen and a purply colour. Im off to the docs in a bit to get it checked but he dont seem as bothered as me!

NatalieJane · 25/09/2007 11:57

Morning all

Stacey, LOL and at your dad, good on him though, just fingers crossed it doesn't come back to bite him on the bum. He must be feeling OK if he can make a protest like that!
Mygirl, I think if they can't provide an actual phone line, they can provide something that works over the mobile phone networks, though I'm told it isn't very reliable and slower than dial-up. It isn't as though we are looking for a house in central Spain away from everyone and everything else, so hopefully we will be able to get connected up some how, even if it takes a little while.
LMM, he probably just has a little infection, it is very common in boys, so don't worry too much.

George has just had his 8 month check, he weighs in at 21 lb 3 and a half oz and is 74cm long. He is absolutely full of a cold and has such a cough on him, poor little love is rattling when he breathes

I am off to look at houses in Spain It is so exciting xxx

saralou · 25/09/2007 12:03

hi ladies!!

so i got pissed all weekend (when the boys were asleep of course!), it was the only way i could be happy and cheery... after a few vodka redbulls and some pink tequilla i was quite happy too me and dp had fun

little miss, i hope his willys ok, my nephew had ballinitis recently and they nearly rushed him in for a circumcision it was so swollen!! he's all back to normal now!

i can't believe you lot are thinking about christmas... i have far too many birthdays before then to worry about, including my dads 60th in a couple of weeks, my mums the week before dads, then it's my nephews 2nd birthday, then my bil's and then most importantly ryans 1st birthday!! why did he have to be so late, 2 1/2 bloody weeks before christmas!!! and then on the 15th is mil's birthday and then christmas!!!! i actually know what they're both getting for christmas anyway - football shirts!!!

luckily dp just got paid a huge wage - his first proper pay since starting this job!!! i'm shopping for a new fridge freezer... can't decide wether t get the one with a water dispenser thingy!! decisions decisions!!!

Charlee · 25/09/2007 12:10

Yes! Get a water dispenser they are a god send, i have grunk so much more water since getting one and we all know how good water is for you! Gantastic on hot days as it's already nice a cold!

(Can you tell im in love with my fridge?)

saralou · 25/09/2007 12:17

i want to love my fridge too... i hate my current fridge situation!!!!

i already have a filter thingy in the fridge for the same reason

will have to discuss with dp when he gets home.... think i want the water thingy (no difference in price)

NatalieJane · 25/09/2007 12:31

We used to have a huge American style fridge freezer when we lived in our old house, it was too big for the kitchen here so we had to get rid of it, I still miss it now nearly 5 years later.

(Can't believe I am remenising about a fridge......)

Charlee · 25/09/2007 12:32

How sad are we getting all dreamy about fridges!!!!!!!!

Charlee · 25/09/2007 12:33

Must add our has a niftly ice dispenser in the freezer.

You fill up the trays that are on twisty racks then turn the handle and they all fally neatly into a collecting tray - no easier really than normal ice making but so much posher than smacking the crap out the ice tray to remove them!

saralou · 25/09/2007 12:36

i would love love love a american stylee one.. but alas, no room... in fact theirs not really room for a fridgefreezer, we have to remove a cupboard or 2 first!!!! (we currently have tiny little seperate things that cannot hold enough for a family of 4 (5 if you include woof the dog!)

Charlee · 25/09/2007 12:38

Your dog is called Woof?

Imteresting!

I dream on an american friddge but i only have a tight hole so can't fit one in.

saralou · 25/09/2007 12:41

(actually my dog has the same name as dp - long story - so he gets called woof, because thats hat ds1 calls him)

back to fridges....

saralou · 25/09/2007 12:44

ps, i am ignoring the tight hole comment!!!

much restraint required!!

Charlee · 25/09/2007 12:45

Ohhhhh very restrained, well done i would ave had to post something in reply!

BUt seriously when i first satrted reading yuor post i thought you ment your DP was called woof!

DS naemd out cats wich are Boots and 2Boots!
