Hi Mummy2T&F, we have seen that thread sweetheart, we are so sorry for your loss of your DH. Please come on here and let us know how we can support / help you?

I may disappear for a couple of weeks. This is the start of my mad week and with the move on Friday, we will lose broadband. I will be back as soon as I can to update you all.

By the way, I have now told DP and he is "quietly happy". There is lots to sort out if this bean sticks but we'll get there...

saralou · 03/09/2007 11:45

mummy2t&f, please don't apologise to us... if their is anything any one uf us can do please ask, even if it's just an ear, we all really feel for you xx

podglet... did you tell us before dp then??? you know you have a mn addiction when......... ?

i'm gonna go take the boys to the park now!!!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 03/09/2007 12:06

mummytot&f, no apologies needed hun, your life is upside down atm, i hope you get some sleep soon hun.

well..........dh's pay got fcuked up again!! oh i cant wait till we move!! stupid stupid people, have had to borrow £1500 from my dad to pay our mortgage and bills! am so

poor dd had a few late nights while daddy was on holiday (he went back today) and now is sitting dazed eating lunch and nearly falling asleep. might sit her with a dvd later and see if she'll drop off!

need to go shopping tonight! have no food in our house, due to no money, thankfully for dad we've got some money so a budget shop tonight!!

Charlee · 03/09/2007 20:44

Hi everyone.

M2TAF - Don't you apologise, it is a horrible tragic thing that has happened to you, but do remember sweetheart we are all here and will help in anyway we can even if it's just a late night chat. Look after yourself and your LO's. Were all thinking of you here.

No news here, i would have posted earlier but we had a mass power surge and it blew all our electrics for hours, meaning the kids have gone to bed on a stomach of sandwiches and youghurts.

Chin up everyone.

x

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 04/09/2007 16:53

hi everyone!

so since dh has gone back to work i cant get off my lazy arse and do anything!!

ds has 4 teeth now (cant remember if told you lot or not)! and am in the rocess of switching frm a bottle to a beaker for milk, dont think we're dong too bad, he took half his lunchtime feed and he struggles with that one normally!

littlemissmischief · 05/09/2007 08:11

M2T&F - like the others said you have absolutely no need to apologise, you are going through the toughest time and we are all here for you if you need us hun x
Alfie has been teething terrible the last week or so but still no sign of any yet im at my wits end with it!!
Ive just set up my msn im really excited, just need someone to talk to now
Really been worrying about money too, we are just managing at the mo but in 2 months when Alfie is 1yr my tax credits will go down,so think i need to work but i wont put him in a nursery and i have no one to look after him so i dont know what to do!! Im so stressed!!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 05/09/2007 19:23

ho hum! someone talk to me!

managed bedtime better on my own than when dh is here, been having a few problems recently........not sure about the move now....what if everything goes wrong?!?!

NatalieJane · 06/09/2007 09:42

Hello everyone, haven't had time to catch up aty all yet, our broadband is down again so I am sneaking a few minutes on dial up... so bloody slllooooowwwwwwwwwwww GRRRRRR.

Everything/one is fine here, George has 4 teeth, (2 top 2 bottom), he is standing and cruising but not walking yet. I am off into town to get his hair cut for the first time, bless him, he doesn't look like a baby anymore

Holiday was fantastic, DS1 started back at school OK, bit nervous on the first morning but has been fine since My sister had a little boy on Sunday, so we are off down to my mums this weekend to go and meet Romano...(where she get's her kids names from I don't know.... ) Anyway, I am going now before DH realises I'm on t'internet, in the daytime!! Hope you are all well Will catch up properly when/if Orange ever get our broadband back on xxx

Charlee · 06/09/2007 10:06

Morning all

Stacey - stop worrying woman everything will be fine!grin]

NJ - Glad your holiday went well and congrats to your sister!

I am having a rought time of it, Harry has decided he is going to wake up at least 3 times a night at the moment which is really killing me! I have had a migraine for days now.
And i had a n argument with dp this morning - he had a bed morning at work and to come home to find me ill, being sick from headache was not what he needed!

Harry is teething which means his bum is bleeding and red raw so he is literally crying all day!

I start my driving lessons again today as my instructor has been on holiday, i hope i haven't forgotten how to drive!

Its Jacks birthday on the 15th hes really excited about it! He got invited to his first payschool birthday party so hes really happy about that to!

saralou · 06/09/2007 15:07

hi guys!!

hello nat... good to see ya back... glad your holiday was good!!

little miss... can you do evening/weekend work so dp can have him, saving on childcare?? i work a double shift every sunday (7.30am-9.30pm) so dp can have the boys, it sucks working every sunday but needs must! nursery is ridiculously expensive and i get a subsidised rate using the hospital one!!

charlee... have you tried metanium on his bottom... wonderful stuff when ryan was so sore and bleeding.. cleared it up in a day!!! i do sympathise with ya though ryan had awful teething and had us up and down all night when his top 2 came through!!!

speaking of teeth, ryan has just sprung tooth no 7!! this one snuck out though, i only noticed it yesterday and it's all the way out!!

stacey, i always manage bedtime better without dp, infact he now has to ring me before he comes home (he works erratic hours) so if i'm putting ds1 to bed he has to wait outside!! if everything goes wrong when you move, you just move back again... ok it's not exactly that simple but theirs always a way!! you'll be fine i'm sure

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 06/09/2007 15:23

welcome back NJ!! glad holiday was fab!

sara...only problem with just moving back is we'rei n a part buy part rent down here, which is all we can afford and they aren't that easy to come by!

oh well all shall be fine i hope! if i pass my driving test i think it'll be a lot easier!

have got my theory next weds then can book my test! hehe!

Charlee · 06/09/2007 16:39

Stacey - i have my theory next Thursday! lol

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 06/09/2007 19:19

oh well good luck! i wanna pass the practical before we move (28th sept) although theres now a spanner in the works with moving....feel like crying!

littlemissmischief · 06/09/2007 20:22

Hi Ladies, Havent been around much lately, mainly cos of a poorly baby but also because of facebook! Its ace ive found loads of old friends! Took Alfie to the doctors today, we finally have a tooth sprouting so ive put his grumpiness and screaming down to that but today he was bad and it turns out his ear drum is inflammed-bless him! But the worst thing is she said she wouldnt give him anything for it cos he is over the worst which means I should have taken him sooner, I feel so guilty!!

SleeplessInTheStaceym11House · 06/09/2007 20:24

littlemiss, dont be too down on yourself i am in the school of parenting where by if they can deal with it themselves dont give them medicine, he's obviously dealt with it ok just with his own antibodies! good on him!

hope he gets better soon!

stacey and charlee, good luck with your theory tests this week!! back in my day their were 35 questions and we were allowed 5 wrong i think (or was it 30 questions???), was so long ago can't really rememer!!!

hi debs (realising your probaby back at work and not gonna see this now!!) nice to hear from you!

i'm knacered and can't be arsed today, have worked 4 shifts in a row, and they were really busy and people are moany old b**ds who think we're a f**ing hotel and are their to serve their every demand!! people are rude and selfish i have wanted to say that all weekend, but i couldn't (without gtting a big compaint, but i've had 2 anyway!)!!!
