@bubblybrit there is normally an indicator on the front of the nappy. If the tabs don't fit easily over the two it's probably time to go a size up. Be careful if you also change brands though. I find tesco's 2s a lot smaller than pamoers

bubblybrit · 10/04/2019 22:36

Thanks ladies. Think I’ll buy a small pack of size 2’s to compare with the size 1’s. I think the smaller size looks a little tight but DH thinks I’m just being paranoid and can’t see anything wrong with them as they don’t often leak x

babyp160 · 10/04/2019 22:47

@bubblybrit the weights are on the nappies but there is a big overlap of size 1 and size 2 weights. Not much difference from size 1-2.

Asda

Size 1 - 6-11lb
Size 2- 6-13lb
Size 3- 8-20lb

We only used size 2 about a week or 2 and then into size 3!

Emma nearly slept for 10 hours last night!! She went all night until 6:15am, I can't believe it.

Shame I have tonsillitis and couldn't enjoy if, but hey! X

sunday38 · 11/04/2019 14:52

Blimey yakadee that's good going! We've had the odd 7hr stretch until 5am but I'm generally feeding at 10pm 3am and 6am. Hope the antibiotics kick in quickly.

Bubbly I've just gone up to size 2 but only because we've had a few close calls with 'up the back poos' so I'm hoping for greater containment with bigger nappies Grin

bubblybrit · 11/04/2019 17:26

Thanks @babyp160. The overlap on sizes is what I find most confusing x

bubblybrit · 11/04/2019 17:26

That’s what I’m worried about as well @sunday38 x

Yakadee · 11/04/2019 20:37

@sunday38 - I know, she's amazing! That's the most she's gone so far. Not sure if it was a fluke yet but we'll see tonight. She was going until around 4:30am so that's still amazing x

My boy has had 48 ounces of milk in the last 24 hours... I’m a bit worried that’s a bit excessive? HV in Monday so I’ll ask then..

What I would give for ten hours sleep!! 😂

maxiflump1 · 12/04/2019 03:07

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking my little one has days where he eats similar amounts Yours was s big baby as well wasn't he? Our last weigh in he was over 15lbs and his 3-6 month clothes are getting snug on him. Am a bit worried he's going to be off the centile scale again when he's next weighed.

Yakadee · 12/04/2019 03:13

@NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking - I wish I'd have had 10 hours, unfortunately not but hoping I will one day!

@maxiflump1 and @NotAsGreenAsCabbageLooking - I know it's hard and you worry about what they're eating when it seems a lot, but I wouldn't worry too much. My son was bigger (9lb2 - so not huge) and always ate very well. There was always a question mark about his weight but he's just fine. He was really chunky to begin with, but once he started to move and become mobile, it soon started to even out. X

Yakadee · 12/04/2019 03:19

This is him, 5 months and now (just turned 3) x

That’s good to know.. I wasn’t initially too worried, but my other half had me second guessing!

He was 10lb 7oz at birth, hasn’t been weighed for a few weeks now but he’ll be six weeks on Sunday so has an appointment coming up thankfully!

Might try giving him a rudimentary weighing at home later!
