oops posted twice.as getting message to say server was not working so thought it hadn't worked.

G is asleep on me again. Not going to get anything done today.

nuttygirl · 21/06/2007 14:55

Hi all,

Lesley - sorry george isn't too well. Hope it's better soon. Erin can be a bit like that in a morning, not wanting to lie down in her moses basket...sometimes I get stuck on the chair/sofa with her on my knee cos it's the only place she'll sleep.

I'm praying she doesn't wake up until I've finished my cake...should be cooked soon

SOKL - of your feeding schedule. Ours is more like 7am, 10.30am, 2pm, 6pm, 10pm but some days she does 8am, 12pm, 4pm, 8pm so she misses a feed those days...a bit worrying really.

nuttygirl · 21/06/2007 15:20

Cake finished...must try not to eat it before tea! I did botch with the icing cos I couldn't be bothered to seive the icing sugar...so it has blobs of icing sugar on the top

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 16:28

Nutty, K will rarely go less than 3 hours between bottles tbh. She had one at 2.15 and is now telling me she is starving. Can't give her another yet as too soon - i read somewhere it takes 3 to 4 hours to digest.
She is drooling!!!

Emmymummy · 21/06/2007 16:31

Hello...apologies, not read any posts today, but for the SE meet up ladies....the weather forecast for tomorrow in Brighton is PANTS . So, can everyone please do a sun-dance for us?

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 16:50

no
oh go on then
if it helps, our local radio station has been telling us it's going to pour down for the last 2 days - has been glorious sunshine!
(I know I'm in Durham, about as far from Brighton as you can get in England, but yswim)

Think the forecast is universally pants for next couple of days. It's weeing down in Leeds - don't think I'll be running tonight.

By the way it's LesleyR. Changed my name because I was bored and because I am indeed Leaky. I smell like milk all the time and have taken to wearing patterns that don't show the leakage I still like bf though.

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 17:16

hi leaky

nuttygirl · 21/06/2007 17:42

Hi leaky lesley , glad the rain seems to have stopped. I do apologise for starting it...I went into the garden to fill up the bird feeders

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 17:44

ah so it's YOU nutty.
Well you can do the sun dance!

Emmymummy · 21/06/2007 17:50

Come on ladies, why aren't you dancing. All together now, one, two, cha cha cha.

Actually it's bringing back bad memories of last night's party.

Bramshott · 21/06/2007 18:11

O and I are dancing as we speak! Let's hope we can find the indoor shopping centre in Brighton!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 18:22

Love the new name Lesley/Leaky!

I think I may do some research on child friendly indoor places in Brighton!!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 19:06

Where are you all??

Just emailed a couple of pics, but have realised I have sent them from Andrej's account.

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 19:14

SOKL your girls are gorgeous and B looks like an angel, lovely brown eyes.
Must send out something more recent of George, might wait until he's less snotty.

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 20:17

DH is asleep on the sofa, T in his basket beside him. They both have identical looks on their faces. About 10 minutes ago they both wriggled, stretched, T farted loudly, if DH did it was silent
So cute

Evening ladies, not had time to catch up yet wanted to quiz those with a toddler, if they eat at a big table what do you put them on to get them up to the right height? Dd currently has a cheap booster seat but is getting a bit big for it but is too small for just the seat. Any ideas please?

oooggs · 21/06/2007 20:47

eddas we have used a tripp trapp from 6 months so ds1 has always sat at the table at the right height. By the time I need it for the dt's (have bought another one) he will be 3.9 so will be able to sit at the table on a proper chair.

Eddas · 21/06/2007 20:49

thanks oooggs, thing is dd has just turned 3 so we don't really need another high chair. Suppose just a cusion would do?

Bramshott · 21/06/2007 20:59

Just popping in to say really looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow SE ladies. See you at 11.30 at the station. Now we just have to hope the rain holds off a little bit at least!

oooggs · 21/06/2007 21:01

wish I was going to the meet up too far

I have ds1 on a sponsored bike ride at his nursery in the morning, but because it isn't one of his days, dt's and I have to stay then twins club in the afternoon

Pesha · 21/06/2007 21:07

Well dp suggested I should come to meet up and have been texting ellie and dippy who think I should. Its all very last minute, have had no time to plan anything!! And will be very early start. Oh what to do, what to do?

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 21:15
