Meet-Up is tomorrow - Whooo Hoooo! Trying to decide whether or not to put P&J into one pram - although I am doubtful whether J would fit cos of his Moobs!!

CaptainElliesDippyPA · 21/06/2007 11:51

Also, P would be constantly smacking him in the face with her flailing arms .....

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 11:55

pmsl at moobs!

The weather forecast is a bit pants. Hey ho.

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 11:56

T had mastitis for a while (although it didn't seem painful, just lumpy) it's not that is it?
Sure you know all this, but just thought I'd mention.

CaptainElliesDippyPA · 21/06/2007 11:57

No seriously - it's just fat.

CaptainElliesDippyPA · 21/06/2007 11:58

SOKL - Sunny here!! Ha! Ha!

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 11:59

it is here but is meant to rain later - probably when I've finished these thank you cards and am out with the pram

CaptainElliesDippyPA · 21/06/2007 12:04

it's ellie, go on, do your worst katy

CaptainElliesDippyPA · 21/06/2007 12:06

I think Joe must have teeth coming, after inhaling Dippy's finger yesterday, he's munching on my hand now, but not in a hungry way.

nuttygirl · 21/06/2007 12:06

sunny here too think it'll rain when I'm out later too .

Just a quick note, giving Erin a break then will see if she'll take any more of her bottle!

Have a good meet up tomorrow all you SE ladies!

Octo - have a good holiday

Hi to everyone else!

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 12:07

erm...very very naughty - go and stand in the naughty corner.
Oh dear, when T's older I'm going to be the soft one aren't I?
How are you feeling after the party? Virtually hungover?

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 12:29

Hi. Nutty, glad things are better with your dh.

Ange, hope Izzy feels better soon. Will be denying knowledge of policy re immunisations. Think it is a bit daft tbh.

CD/Ellie, hope you are having a lovely time.

Hi Katy!

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 12:38

I am bored!!

Waiting for the Tesco Man. K is asleep and I should be doing ironing but I cannot be arsed!

Dh spoke to his mum last night to thank her for having B at the weekend. He said how good she had been since (????) and how well she had done with her jabs. I am now thinking she probably thinks she is super grandma! I think my dh wears rose coloured specs where B is concerned sometimes. Of course she is ok when we are both around, because we are able to respond to her requests immediately. As soon as I am unable to come to her aide, she kicks off. This morning she said " if you put CBeebies on, I will eat my toast"! This "If you are a good girl you can have some chocolate buttons" message that I have been feeding her is biting me on the bum!!

Eddas · 21/06/2007 12:47

SOKL, i get 'if you don't let me ....... I will cry' ALL the time, not as bad as her 'if you don't.............. I will kill you' Nice. Think the latter may have been picked up from her 8 & 9 year old cousins

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 12:52

Oh Eddas! I am sure B will be coming out with some awful things soon, as she hangs around with a group of 9 and 10 year olds. Tbh they are lovely girls, and take great care of her. B however keeps asking me if she is allowed to say "I am fed up" or "for God's sake"!

Can't think where she has got those expressions from !!! Moi????

oooggs · 21/06/2007 13:24

Very naughty mummy - but I finished all the thankyou cards last night and they have been posted, dt's only 12 weeks

Both had 2nd lot of jabs - ouch at least it is over now, and I was late not like me at all.

Hope the SE meet up goes well tomorrow, I am sure it will.

Octo - hope packing for lovely 'sunny' Cornwall is going well

last night was a good one. All 3 asleep by 7.10pm, dt's awake for feed together at 4.30am. All asleep again by 5am. DS1 in at 7.15am, dt's awake at 7.45am. So why do I feel so bloody shattered must be all that partying

elkiedee · 21/06/2007 13:31

Re larger sized clothes as a present - how about "I was really pleased to get something for 3-6 months (or whatever it is)."? I was given a lot of stuff for 0-3 months but also quite a few bigger things too, and also money with the intention that we should choose what we most need to buy him, and I think anyone who gives you a larger size is actually trying to make sure that your baby will be able to get some more wear out of it.

elkiedee · 21/06/2007 13:36

LOL at your daughter, SOKL! My sister was a scheming minx in that way, I'd forgotten how they can be (there's a big age gap between us). She's grown up nice, but still knows how to get her way.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 13:41

Ooogs, wow, you have got your lo's well trained.

What times are they having bottles?

Elkie, yes, B is a minx indeed - she even has a T Shirt stating that she is one!

oooggs · 21/06/2007 13:48

sokl - 8am, 12pm, 3.30pm & 6.30pm then in the night about 3-4am.

or 7am, 11am, 3pm & 6.30pm and then in the night about 3-4am

With ds1 we didn't have sleep or routine until 12mths he still needs to be sat with to go to sleep at 3.6 and if I left the house for 2 hours I would take 2 feeds it was a nightmare. We also had to drive or use the pushchair for daytime sleeps until he was 2.5. It is determination not to make these mistakes again which has got us this far with the dt's

LesleyR · 21/06/2007 13:55

Afternoon
George has finally released his vice-like grip, he's on his baby gym batting dangly animals. He has a cold and has been really clingy since about 3am. Wouldn't settle in cot on own so ended up on bed with us. This morning he's been whingy and clingy and woke and cried as soon as I tried to put him down.

Is it normal for babies to sound wheezy with a cold? He did this morning but sounds fine now. Maybe I'll take him to doc if he's still like that tomorrow. He doesn't have a temperature and is quite happy now.

Sexonknackeredlegs · 21/06/2007 14:02

Thanks Oogs. We are kind of following a similar pattern, although K is having no night feeds as we are filling her up during the day. We are more like 7.00, 10.30, 1.30, 4.30 and 7.30 - although the gaps are getting longer.

Lesley, hope G is ok. x

Need to run. x

Katy44 · 21/06/2007 14:11

SOKL, no-one should be ironing!
Lesley, hope George is OK, sure he's just a bit snuffly but good idea to get it checked.
elkie - I've already sent the card but something like that would be more tactful for next time
(I mean more presents, not babies BTW!!)
