Pinions · 17/06/2007 20:56

.............and hi dippy x

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 17/06/2007 20:59

Hi Pinions!

Best time to express is when it is more convienient for you hon ... I do mine about 9pm (so in a min!) as P has been down for a couple of hrs & won't be up for a couple more ....

AngeG · 17/06/2007 21:00

Evening Ladies

Good to 'see' you pinions...well done on losing so much weight I'm still exclusively bf, Izzy has taken a bottle of EBM a handful of times...but it's more fuss than its worth sometimes.

Pesha that happened to our freezer a while ago...just managed to save my breast milk, rushed it to a neighbours house...couldn't be arsed to cook all the food though, so just binned it all

Elkie - Glad you and DP have sorted things out. and you too mammyjo, know what you mean about DH/DPs mine is pretty similar...begging for sex one minute and being horrible the next, maybe it's sexual frustration on his part

CD - Glad you've had a good day! Eating ice cream...yum!

SOKL - Hope B is ok for you. It's great when they are with other people and I'm always greatful, but they are so often a PITA when they come back!

Thanks for the email Ellie and thanks to CD, Octo and Lucewheel for the wonderful photos, your children are gorgeous. Also some wonderful photos on people's profiles, we are obviously a pretty fab bunch to have such gorgeous children

AngeG · 17/06/2007 21:04

I know it's fathers day and we're supposed to be tolerant but....Dh has watched tennis, cricket, motor racing, football and golf today in rotation...I hate sport, it's doing my head in

nuttygirl · 17/06/2007 21:06

OMG Pionions...I will not be coming to a meet up until you agree to start eating for England to make me feel better . Wow, smaller than your pre-pg size. I daren't even go near my pre-pg clothes!

Pinions · 17/06/2007 21:06

Hi ange thanks for the very emails.

I think everyone I know has at least one of them, keep them coming.

Especially liked the Mum/Dad job description, god is that whats in store for us all HELP!

CaptainDippySuperBoobs · 17/06/2007 21:06

Thanks Dippy Well done you getting the room done, I wouldn't even entertain the idea of decorating at the moment.

WestCountryLass · 17/06/2007 21:09

had FIL, his girlfriend, SIL, BIL and their two kids round today for Sunday lunch so a busy day for us. DH cooked the lunch, we did Delias roast chicken with lemon and tarragon which I can thoroughly recommend. But the peice de resistance was my pud, Nigellas easy sticky toffee pudding, which was basically a dish of butter and muscavado sugar, very calorific!

DH had socks and pants for Fathers Day, boring, but necessary

octo · 17/06/2007 21:09

Hi Pinions! Thanks for the link

Ah re expressing - I have just had a curry and a glass of wine - so expressing now would surely be a bad idea? How much effect does the food/drink have on the milk? I don't want to express curry milk if he doesn't like it!

I am finding bf so easy tbh and when do get a bottle in case he wakes when I go out - it is such a faff. We have also now tried dh giving him a bottle to see if he sleeps longer and it didn't work! In fact last night we tried and I had to wake up dh, go to kitchen, get bottle & heat it and bring it up to dh - he then only took 1oz - so I didn't get undisturbed sleep, ernie didn't drink it and he still woke up again for another feed - aarrarararagagghhhhhhh

I am planning to go to Ikea soon - need to figure out what I want before I go or end up buying stuff don't need - when I get there I always feel I need everything!

I have bought some Swedish meatballs to get us in the mood (for Ikea [blush})

octo · 17/06/2007 21:11

hello angeg, elliek, wcl and nutty

nuttygirl · 17/06/2007 21:12

Hi Octo - LMAO at getting in the mood for ikea.

WCL - that pud sounds yum!
