I was brave and started a new thread!

sorry indith, i seem to have killed your other thread! (I seem to have a habit of doing that, , don't know why)

Indith · 07/05/2007 17:51

So do I sacha! Kind of makes it hard to start threads as a thread killer

lucy5 · 07/05/2007 21:39

My ds is 22 weeks and 9 kgs, i will go and google what that is in real money.

lucy5 · 07/05/2007 21:40

Blooming hell 19.8 lbs. No wonder I'm knackered.

Indith · 07/05/2007 21:52

lol

glassslipper · 07/05/2007 21:58

rofl

accessorizewithbabysick · 07/05/2007 21:59

Lucy5, thought mine was heavy!

glassslipper · 07/05/2007 21:59

my dd is so teeny compared to yours....so how come my back aches all the time from carrying her

MARGOsBeenPlayingWithMyNooNoo · 07/05/2007 23:15

There's a difference of 2lb between my dds weights at 20 weeks. I started ff dd1 at this stage as she was falling down the centile chart, but dd2 is a chubby little thing, I'm not worried about her starving to death! I am still sure that her tongue tie was responsible.

Jabber - How nice to share an anniversary with someone!

It is a good month to get married! It's my aunt and uncles 30th anniversary today. I was a bridesmaid for them, being only 2.5yo, I was very naughty!

lol, margo, ds1 was supposed to be a ring bearer at 2.4. He looked really cute in his tuxedo - but never made it down the aisle!

SachaF · 08/05/2007 15:33

i had a 2 year old bridesmaid at mine and she was great! she walked slowly down the aisle with a complete stranger (my bf) then ran off to find her mommy! Then her GD (my FIL) carried her down the aisle on the procession out - seeing as her mum had a 2 week old to look after!

SachaF · 08/05/2007 15:35

just remembered, we did actually move the date of our wedding back by 2 weeks due to SIL's due date!

jabberwocky · 08/05/2007 17:16

Awfully quiet today

glassslipper · 08/05/2007 17:36

I'm here. Just dont have much to say other than 'I'm knackered' and that gets a bit repetitive

jabberwocky · 08/05/2007 18:38

I know how you feel Ds2 is still waking about every 2 hours. We tried giving formula for the middle of the night wakings and the first night it seemed to help but not last night so it may have just been a coincidence. I was really at my wit's end with him last night as he has taken to being up for close to an hour at around 2 or 3 am.

Indith · 08/05/2007 19:56

Who broke my baby? Come on own up now, I won't be cross so long as you fix him for me.

After his weekend of parties Mr Man has dcided that his previous bedtime is for wimps and he is a big boy who can stay up late Nightmare to get down last night (but made up for it by only waking once ) and not good tonight either, asleep now though so fingers crossed. Suppose if he sleeps well then I don't mind putting him down later but I've got so used to having nice relaxed baby free evenings!

Oh dear chuntering has just begun

babypowder · 08/05/2007 20:32

I'm here too! We were away this weekend at my cousin's daughter's Christening. It was a fantastic weekend - a lovely excuse to show off my gorgeous DDs ...

Neither of which will now settle back into bedtime Surely they must both be as tired as me???

I have found, though, that I can drive for miles and miles with a screaming baby in the back, whereas DH gets completely stressed out and starts to panic

jabberwocky · 08/05/2007 21:48

Hmmm, Indith, ds2 started this about a month or so ago and since he was a preemie that would put a lot of the other babies at the same point about now.

Am watching with interest to see if it's a phase and if so how many babies go thru it.

glassslipper · 08/05/2007 21:49

my dd was going to bed at 7.30 for ages. it is now about 8.30 and was 8.45 tonight.

Elibean · 08/05/2007 22:19

....am here too, at least in body

In a nutshell: got to Paris late (passport didnt' arrive on time), had two very full days, got home with massive colds for dd2 and probably me (still at the sore throat stage) and have finally unpacked, done washing, and can allow self five minutes MN.

100 yr old gran was very chilled, came out in the garden with the children, loved meeting dd2 (I have wonderful photos) and made me feel very young in comparison. Which was mighty welcome

Anyone fancy precis-ing everything thats happened since last Wednesday for me? What are the LOs up to, who is how, etc? No? Ah well, shall look forward to dd1 being at nursery and hope that dd2 is less snotty and more napworthy so I can catch up!

Meantime, hope all of you are well and getting some kip.....xx

Elibean · 08/05/2007 22:21

ps Castles, I re-emailed you before I left - don't suppose it actually worked this time, did it?! I was very careful typing the address...

glassslipper · 09/05/2007 08:47

DD decided it would be fun to wake up for the ay 5.30 today. Just because I am parent helper at DDs preschool, I'm sure. She is sleeping soundly now

Indith · 09/05/2007 09:02

Mine woke early too, also sleeping now. Has a stuffy nose bless him I can hear him trying to clear it. Also gets annoyed that can't suck his thumb and breath through his mouth at the same time.

babypowder · 09/05/2007 09:49

We've had another distrubed night. Why won't my DDs sleep? (DD1` has never, ever slept through the night, but DD2 was sleeping right through until last wekk )

Eli, your trip sounds lovely - manic, but lovely
