Well my mum's policy is when you can't decide between two things, just get both!

Or I suppose you could get the pair that best matches your outfit...

Quite like the ponyskin pair myself - do they match the potential outfit?

KZ - I love them both, prob a good idea, if you usually go for other style. I like your daring style. I am usually for too conservative these days. I have hardly bought anything new since LO, and what I have bought is mainly in prep for work...bought a brand new Next tailored suit in Cancer Research for £10, almost identical to one which cost me £150!!

PavlovtheCat · 25/03/2007 22:50

Night KZ, sleep well

TwinklemEGGan · 25/03/2007 22:53

Oh what lovely pics everyone. Wallace - I think I remember rightly that you live near Aviemore (place beginning with C but don't like to broadcast it without your permission)? We've been there several times on hols to the timeshare resort - absolutely gorgeous area. Which loch were the pics taken at?

Kami/Chunky - I preferred your first suggestion for a new name a few days back lol.

PavlovtheCat · 25/03/2007 22:55

Ceebee - your LO is gorgeous

Ceebee74 · 26/03/2007 07:44

Wallace - what gorgeous photos - I went to Scotland for my holidays every year when I was a kid and absolutely loved it and that photo has brought back why (and Leo is yummy too!)

Kbaby - lovely photo of your 2 - it must be great to see them playing together like that.

Bloss and Impy - fab photos too - aren't July babies just so cute??

Impy - great news about the rolling - but just wait until he decides he wants to do it every time you want to dress him and change his nappy - very frustrating!! Josh has a tantrum every nappy change now as I make him lie on his front - I hope this is not a sign of things to come

KZ - I thought the quilted shoes were so cute so glad you went for those ones.

HC - am also a bit confused as to where your lump is - but wherever it is, I would go to the GPS (I know this would be embarrassing if it is where I think it is) but better to be a bit embarrassed IMO.

Hi to everyone else - apologies if I have missed anyone but there are so many posts to catch up on!!

Have good days all x

PavlovtheCat · 26/03/2007 07:59

Ceebie - surely zero is better than a plus? Keep at it, and dont feel bad if you give in to a temptation, its really horrid to have stuff around you when you cant eat it. My DP trying to lose weight, and a friend came over for dinner with chocolate muffins. They are still there, bless him, he is fighting it hard, but Saturday morning I had to stop him for having them for breakfast!!

IamBlossom · 26/03/2007 08:20

ok HC, if F@F is right, perhaps don't try to bite it off! You might end up needing a chiropractor as well if you do! Get it looked at if you are worried hon....

Love the first ones KZ.

Toby woke at 5am old time this morning (which was actually 6am new time) and chatted to himself till 6.30 when DS1 woke up, so that is a huge improvement on an hour and a half of screaming. I think we might have cracked it. Plus although it was 5am in the old time, they had gone to bed at 5pm the night before (6pm in the new time IYSWIM) so that's 12 hours......

MaeWest · 26/03/2007 08:57

Bloss - see 5am is ok at the mo, last night DS went all the way through from 6.30 until 5, had monster feed and then we both went back to sleep for a couple of hours. Bliss . I can just about deal with an early start if I haven't been woken up several times in the night as well. Starting swimming class today (apparently babies sleep well afterwards - can you spot my obsession?). Must go, DS has gone suspiciously quiet and red in the face (and we all know what that means). Sheesh, must cure myself of my brackets addiction...

Hi girls.

Just popping in quickly to say hello. Jazz was sick at the beggining of last week with sickness and diaorriah(sp) and now my middle one has it. She is currently in my bed with a nappy on.

Wanted the benifit of your advice/opinions/experience.

I currently have a freedom sling and want to change it for a mei tai. Have any of you lot had one? What do you think of them. They look ever so funky.

I'm sorry haven't had time to catch up with your posts, my head is banging (tired from looking after poorly lo's I think).

Have a good day anyhow. Bye for now.

Pink

HumphreysYummyChoccyEggCorner · 26/03/2007 10:55

Morning ladies

Lol-my lump is down below in my bits so won't be able to bite it off. Had a prod this morning and am convinced it is smaller. Found an old MN thread with the exact same problem and supposedly friction from the deed can cause it. That is extremely unlikely at the mo. However, feel embarassed but

Am dropping to bits as have now got a terrible aching pain like walking legs in my right leg so spent all night worrying I have a DVT. Sorry to be a walking medical problem at the mo. DD1 just wants to put me in the dustbin-bless.

kayzed-when I changed my name you all still called me HC so feel free to change but you will always be kayzed to me. First pair of shoes are fab. Don't do leopard skin I'm afraid.

Pavlov-what a sweet pic on the beach.

Wallace-your pics too are gorgeous.

Ceebee-I stayed the same for 2 weeks and then lost 2 lb so don't give up. Will report my shiny or non shiny later.

prettymum-your going to bed early time is my going to bed late time. Hope you are suitably refreshed.

pink hun-you are still having a rough time. Hoping that when everyone is better you have a bug free zone. ((xx))

Mae-oh, do enjoy your swimming. Sophie used to be an angel and now cries but I am still going to go as I lurve it.

Bloss-which time zone are you using?

So many messages tis hard to keep up as I lost my internet connection yesterday. DH is putting my tumble drier into the utility room so has ripped out cupboards to make room so has disconnected the washer. Can't wash or iron and my basket is overflowing.

Have a good day girls

xxx

AnnieOleTing · 26/03/2007 16:55

Afternoon Ladies,

HC!! I'm shocked! Prodding? A rabbit? I had you down for a nice quiet shy girl... Well whaddya know. Hope you feel better soon, though, it must be tough feeling rough all the time. It may make you feel better to know that I have the in-laws here this week (staying...) so you're not the only one suffering. Had a 'discussion' with DH yesterday (after two pints, mind) about them, and he thinks I hate them, which I don't, but they do really really annoy me. However I have promised to be more tolerant, as I KNOW they're only trying to help...
Still, it's not going to be a good week, oh dear.

Pink, hope you and your girls feel better soon.

Lovely Pics everyone! What cuties we have!!

Bloss (HI!!) which Annabel Karmel book do you use? I'm going to get one, but I don't know which one to go for. I hope your 4.30am feed fizzles out soon too. Do you give him water, or just not give him anything? I'm going for all night feeds (2am, 4am, 5.30am... yaaaaaaaaaawn).
[Annie copies everything Bloss does this week]

First, I'm afraid I do skive a lot. Sure I get my work done, but never over do it!! I have both a lab bench and a desk, the lab bench however is sadly neglected...

Better go ladies, hi to everyone else,
off home in a mo to the joys of the in-laws and the northern food they bring...

Byeyeyeye

Annie

IamBlossom · 26/03/2007 19:17

Annie (Hi!!) Poor you with in laws staying. I get on really well with my MIL, so much so that we have invited her on holiday with us this July for a week, but even I am fairly confident I will be sick to death of her by the end of it....

Am not even giving him water. Aren't I cruel? I don't even go in, as I did the first time, and it obviously made him think I was going to give him a bottle and when I put him back down again without milk he went beserk in outrage!! So I just leave him. First morning he cried for an hour and a half, second morning he grizzled for an hour, this morning he didn't wake up as early, and then just chatted to himself for about half an hour till DS1 got up. I'll let you know how tomorrow morning goes. It is helping their sleep and DH's in as much as they are not waking up so early, but I was still awake from 3.30am on and off WAITING for the first stirrings. Sigh. Roll on teenagers that won't get up.

Poor you Pink. Big hugs.

HC - a rabbit. my image of you is totally blown, you saucy mare.

Hi girls

Has been a while!
Have been lurking just reading everyone's posts.

HC - I would get your lump seen to. Get it checked. I asked to see a female doctor with my bits. Just to remind you that I've got Cervical Polyps. I have had my name down to have them removed but have had to have the dates changed... Third time lucky.

I also hahave had a pain in my legs, Docs are saying that it's Sciatica(sp?) and also I need to lose some weight . Tis not working.... All I seem to do is want more food.

Anyway I'm, off now, shall carry on lurking...

(great piccies everyone)

Bye

Suni

HC - sitting here giggling at the thought of you trying to bite off your lump. Sorry but ROFL hope it is just friction!

madness - hi! bye! see you again soon

Forty/kayzed - you'll be lucky if you catch the weather in scotland as nice as it was yesterday!

kz - can't help wth the shoes, not a show person (tatty old trainer person )

prettymum - hope you got a good sleep last night?

Pavlov - love the photo. What a lovely idea to make a mobile. Dd has so many shells, I will suggest we make a mobile with them. How do you make a hole to attach the string?

twinkle - that's right Which timeshare resort do you come to? Is it one near Aviemore or the one beginning with L beside C? It was Loch Garten we went to (in the RSPB reserve). So lovely

Bloss - you're confusing me!

maewest - I have taken Leo swimming a couple of times and he conks out afterwards - it's brill!

pink - poor dd2 xxx
Can't help with the sling. I wish I had one at the mo - Leo is getting so heavy to carry around and he is not letting me put him down. Is 8 months too late to start to use one do you think?

Annie - poor you re inlaws!!!!

skay - hi! Poor you, hope it isn't too painful.

Another photo to make you jealous. oh I wish the weather was like this all the time! The photo is a bit squint, but never mind.
