pretty - no you did not sound rude at all!! ].

I did try to keep her clean and tidy for a couple of days but it just was not worth it! New furniture? Not for a while!

PavlovtheCat · 20/03/2007 23:07

off to bed, night night pretty, seems like you are the only one left! Not many people on when I am these days!!
Sleep well x

prettymum · 20/03/2007 23:16

goodnight pav! i get tired but cant seem to drag myself to bed!!

MaeWest · 21/03/2007 08:33

Pav, what fabby pictures, looks like your little girl is really enjoying her food . I use those long sleeve bibs for DS and quite often take his trews off for mealtimes now the weather is (a bit) warmer. Can't wait until we can eat outside and let the birds clean up

Well, waking is gradually getting later. Woke up and fed him at 5am, trouble was I don't think he really went back to sleep (maybe dozed a bit) so had to get up and start the day at 6am and of course he was whinging for his nap by 8, but we have baby music group today at 10 and he usually misses his morning nap and gets whingy during the group so fingers crossed (gosh, the minuiate of my life must be really dull for you, I apologise )

prettymum - good to hear about your visit to your family, hope this is the start of the healing process for you all

Afternnoon Ladeeez,

Thanks for all your kind words about Kayley's crawling. She's still quite delicate about it, she's not exactly speedy gonzales just yet!! She loves to pull herself up to standing though now at every chance. And when she wakes up in the morning (Yes in our bed...) she somehow gets herself up on her knees and starts bouncing on me or DH whichever side she lands!! Most amusing at 6am...

Mae, how was the baby music group!? It sounds like fun!! All together now: The Wheels on the bus go Round and Round. ALL DAY LONG...

Pavlov, beautiful pictures!! She's such a happy baby!

Pretty, glad things are improving with your family. Here's hoping it'll sort itself out in the end.

Kbaby I hope you had a better night last night. I can't offer any advice, as I just take K into the bed with us as soon as she wakes once we've gone to bed. She still wakes at least twice... Some babies just don't sleep.

Wallace Leo must be nearly there! It sounds like what K did, sits, leans forward, hands down and rocks onto her hand, just sometimes getting one foot stuck under her. She somehow moved around the room doing that without actually crawling. Now she gets four or five paces on her hands and knees.
KZ lol at Roshi walking when your back is turned!!! Congrats on your HUGE decision to move back to Oz. It sounds fab, a brilliant place to bring up children. Must be, look how you turned out!! Best of luck with all the organising etc.

Right I better go, I have some experiment on the go, wish I knew what it was for...

Have a good day everyone

Annie

Afternoon ladies

Pav-another lovely pic and she still has her socks on. Sophie keeps pulling her shoes and socks off all the time-am worn out with putting them back on!

Mae-I can't wait until short sleeved tops can be worn and shorts. When I get my next Family Allowance am off to stock up on shorts, tops and sandals for both girls as they soon sell out. Hope you were in fine tune this morning. I say trews (well troos) and everyone looks at me gone out. I am not mad or if I am then you are too

prettymum-excellent news re your family relationship. Hopefully more meetings will follow.

Annie-Sophie gets one leg stuck so I don't think she will be long before she crawls.

Now girls, be honest-was I a bad, bad mummy this morning? ........Went to Tescos and DD1 as usual didn't have a wee before she left and I was so flustered getting everyone in the car I forgot to remind her. Anyway, just got half way round Tescos and she announced that if she didn't have a wee NOW she would wet herself. Had lots in the trolley and Sophie so I sent her to the toilet on her own. Then this elderly lady brought her back to me-DD1 had been unable to open the doors as you have to pull them on the way out. This lady didn't say anything apart from finding her waiting for her mummy but gave me 'a look'. In the past if I just had a basket I have dumped the basket and gone through the tills but just didn't know what to do for the best.

Have a good afternoon.

Byee for now.

Lysettes · 21/03/2007 15:01

kz congrats on your decision

pavlov jacob has been sitting on my knee while i am on mn and has squeeled at every pic of your dd!

he is clearly not eating enough - 7 cubes? it's as much as i can do to get 1.5 or 2 into him, and today he blatantly refused food and only had milk for his lunch.

must go he's now playing with the keyboard on the laptop.....

Lysettes · 21/03/2007 15:03

and has jsut signalled it's time to stop mnetting by vomitting all over me whilst grabbing my hair and smiling....

HumphreysCorner · 21/03/2007 15:04

Ha-have just spied jersey on the Due in October 2007. No wonder she is too busy to talk to us.

Lysettes · 21/03/2007 15:34

aaah that's wonderful!

jacob has jsut proven me wrong and wolfed down 2 cubes of mango...

he's taken to hitting his hands down on things a lot too

AnnieOleTing · 21/03/2007 15:40

HC I don't put socks or shoes on either of my two unless we're going out. Then DS has proper socks and shoes (obv!) but Kayley wears those trousers with feet. Any time I've taken her out in a dress with tights and shoes, they just don't stay on, so she's a troos girl!!
K has been getting her foot stuck for a few weeks, but now only occasionally, and she's off. So it won't be long for Sophie!!
I don't know what I would have done about your DD1's wee wee. Twas only a once off anyway. Don't worry bout old ladies, we can never get it right with them! Ould biddies.
I think what you did was definitely better than leaving Sophie alone in the trolley though...

Lysettes, K hardly eats much either so don't worry too much. A spoonful of cereal or two, max. Mostly milk. Hope your keyboard is still working!!!

Beadmum · 21/03/2007 15:45

afternoon ladies

its hard to keep up with you all

prettymum - hope things work out for you with your family, theyve missed so much already, hopefully theyll not want to miss anymore. good luck!

kz - congrats on you decision to move back to oz, im sure ds and dd will love being closer to their grandparents and youll also love the support

pavlov - great pics, i really need to get some on too

mae - im exactly the same, dd always seems to need her nap when we are at rhyme time group, but she is now waking earlier so has a nap before going.

hc - dont feel bad about sending dd to toilet in tescos, you done what you felt was best, dont let some old biddy make you feel bad. why are people so judgemental these days and so unhelpful?

lysettes - try not to worry about how much food jacob is having, he is still taking his milk. i was on here last week worrying that charlotte wasnt eating, this week is a complete turnaround, although she can only manage about 2 ice cubes too. guess babies just chop and change all the time and like us all have different appetites

charlotte got better towards end of last week and gradually started eating again and my cheery girl is back guess with dh being off on hols the week before and my mum being here for a few days she was showered with so much attention and was reacting to being left with just me again

Beadmum · 21/03/2007 15:48

annie - xpost, not just copying everything you say

AnnieOleTing · 21/03/2007 15:50

Beadmum!! It's cos we're so wise, great minds...

Lysettes · 21/03/2007 16:19

trhanks ladies

totally forgot to post hc agree with annie and beadmm - you can't win with old biddies!

beadmum - had the same thing with jacob when we got home from nz in fact it is only really yesterday and today he's been back to his old self and ok with just mummy and not 4 adults amusing him all the time!

news! we have found a house to rent while our purchase (we have also found a house to buy!) goes through! yay! just got to deal with packers now and dh getting more and more anxious that t's never going to be ready in time...

pinkdolly · 21/03/2007 17:32

Hi ladies. Just thought i'd check in and say hi.

Pavlov, love the phots, especially the one with her mouth wide open covered in food. She is so scrummy.

Kayzed, wow moving back to oz. I am still in the same county I was born in and will probably be one of those sad people who stay here.

My tiredness levels have some what increased this week as Jazz has had a touch of gastro, been puking and pooing all over the place. She seems to be coming out of it now. Tho still not really eating much of anything.

On a lighter note tho. I went into boots on friday and entered a raffle which I won. Yeah! I never win anything. I nearly fainted when I went to pick up my prize and was told it was £180 of Clarins.
It's very nice stuff. Trouble is I wont be able to afford to keep it up when my stock has run out. I usually just bey whatever's on offer. Lol.

Lysette- Hope everything goes smoothly with your house sale/move. I know how stressful it all can be.

Jazz is thinking about sitting up. She sat for about 10 secs this afternoon, till she realised and then lounged back into mum's arms. She's a sneaky one, think she just prefers to cuddle.

Well am gonna go tidy something now.
catch you later!

IamBlossom · 21/03/2007 19:32

Hey Pink, lovely to hear from you!

Congrats Lysettes! Now the fun starts.

Pav, fab pics, she is a treasure. Several frameable ones there.

Ok who is jealous? Both boys in bed sound asleep, DH on a frozen lake somewhere, got Corrie plus "The Queen" on DVD to watch, the whole sofa and bed to myself, and no-one to share my enormous box of Cadburys Heroes with. Bliss. But now that I have gloated the boys will get up all night, you watch.....

HC - re Jersey!! Must admit I am WELL broody at the moment. Have visions of a third boy called George or Max........

IamBlossom · 21/03/2007 19:33

Where's Kosh? Hope ure ok hon.

Ceebee74 · 21/03/2007 19:39

Bloss - am competing with you - DS in bed fast asleep, have just eaten an entire tube of mini eggs for my tea ( - don't read that HC!), Dh is away and I have got the entire evening to myself - which I will probably spend on MN!!

Pav - what great photos - and what a happy little poseur babypav is!

Don't think I have ever 'spoken' to Jersey but I am assuming she was on the ante-natal thread - and pg again - wow, brave! Although, like Bloss, broody thoughts keep creeping into my head every now and again and I have to slap them out again

IamBlossom · 21/03/2007 19:42

hmmmmm, mini eggs you say, yum yum.

HC - what name is Jersey posting under? I can't see her on that thread!!!

HumphreysCorner · 21/03/2007 19:58

Bloss-found her on the 1st thread, she hasn't posted on there since mid Feb. Don't know why I was looking on the antenatal threads. Must be a touch broody myself

Ceebee-I ' M W A T C H I N G Y O U

pink-well done winning yummy Clarins products. Indulge yourself. FWIW-we will always remain in good old Blighty.

Busy, busy time for la famille Lysettes Good news hun.

Had both of my 2 in bed by 7pm just after DH got in. Gave DD1 her tea at 4-30pm and she was still eating it 1 hour later!

xxx

Wallace · 21/03/2007 19:59

Congratulations to jersey!!!!!!!

pavlov - wonderful photos! I see what you mean about her big smile - such a cutie We are doing BLW, luckily we have a dog which means a bit less mess on the floor!

kbaby - LOL at karate chopping his legs Leo has just found out he can stand if I hold him and he thinks it is hilarious! Urgh re the headlice - I have seen them on a child at a school where I was helping out, they are surprisingly big!

prettymum - fingers crossed for you that everything gets sorted out xxxx

maewest - it is nice to get out and do stuff, isn't it? We only have a baby and toddler group in our area, but still nice to get out of the house. Leo was up so early too that he had a nap before baby group and then fell asleep on the way back and slept for almost 4 hours in his pram

Annie - how long did it take Kayley from rocking/bouncing forward to getting her knees down and crawling?

HC - Leo pulls his socks off constantly too. At baby group today he looked like he was cleaning the floor with them - dribbling, then wiping up with socks
Don't see what else you could have done re dd1 needing the toilet btw

beadmum - glad you have yuor cheerful girl back!

lysettes - well done on house news! I don't envy you the packing though...

pink - congratulations! If you are anything like me that amount will last you a life time...Somewhere I still have make-up I bought as a teenager

Bloss - I'm jealous! Mind you, all mine are asleep too, and dh is out but I will waste my evening isketching prob

ceebee - have a nice evening

Had a lovely time at the mother and baby/toddler group today. Leo is so sociable - he even tried to eat one of the other baby's shoes while he was wearing them

AnnieOleTing · 21/03/2007 21:00

Wallace, I'd say she's been rocking onto her hands for about 2 or 2.5 weeks. She's really getting around now! Leo won't be long after!!
Both asleep now Bloss, but DH is in so we're having Indian takeaway Yum!
Uh oh

AnnieOleTing · 21/03/2007 21:13

Spoke too soon, Kayley's up again, playing with the takeaway box. And farting.
Oh well.
Nite nite all
Annie
