Ha Blue, yes!!

Blueroses, not sure if you're still lurking here, but wanted to say I'm following your blog. Your daughter is gorgeous and doing so well!
You seem to be doing great in the nicu, it's so tough, but then you're one tough cookie!

Have attached a poem I thought you might appreciate. X

Blueroses99 · 18/06/2017 09:54

Thanks Sammy, that's a really lovely poem, I can totally relate. It's weird to think that this period feels like forever but is only a few weeks really. We are hopefully over half way through our NICU stay. Hope your girls are doing well after their stay.

Blue i believe you but it's an alien concept for me still!

I'm starting to lurk a bit more now when I have a bit of downtime.

Hope all the babies and daddies are enjoying their first Fathers Day today 💗

Blondeshavemorefun · 18/06/2017 18:51

Seems amazing how well your little girl is doing - I read daily your blog. So glad she's been moved closer to home and in clothes as well

Hope you all had a lovely Father's Day x

loopylou1984 · 19/06/2017 03:59

Blueroses thank you, the girls are doing really well. We had a relatively short stay (3 weeks) but it felt like forever at the time.

I'm also following your blog, she's so cute! Xx

loopylou1984 · 19/06/2017 04:02

Also amazing that you've met an online friend in there!

RoseBud2016 · 07/07/2017 16:24

Just to let you all know baby Rosebud arrived on 4th July at 40+4 weighing 9lb 5oz. She is absolutely gorgeous and we are totally smitten.

We cannot believe she is finally here and we have our miracle baby.

Labour was difficult- 24 hours, 15.5 of active labour ending in a trip to theatre, two sets of forceps, a third degree tear, and a catheter for at least the next week but I honestly couldn't be any happier. 😍

loopylou1984 · 07/07/2017 19:59

Congratulations rosebud!

stealthbanana · 08/07/2017 09:19

Hurrah rosebud! Massive congratulations. The birth sounds painful, hope you're looking after yourself and managing to get some rest in amongst all the baby deliciousness. Enjoy every moment xxx

Grumpelstiltskin · 08/07/2017 10:12

Oh rose so so so thrilled for you! Welcome to the world babybud! Little girls are just wonderful (as are little boys, so win-win really!)
Hope you recover well and are managing to get a bit of sleep. Xxx

HP07 · 13/07/2017 14:44

Hi Ladies,
I haven't been around for a while, just busy with life and baby. How is everyone doing? Baby HP is now 9 months old so has been out for as long as he was in! He's so big now. Can't believe he will be 1 by the autumn. He is crawling commando style all over the place, has 2 teeth and is saying dada and cat! How are all of the babies?

loopylou1984 · 14/07/2017 10:23

Hi HP - glad to hear all is going well.
I'm not on much either, but do like to have a read through every so often.
My twinnies are 5 months now and doing well. They've both achieved rolling over now (front to back), so growing up fast! Xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/07/2017 23:36

congrats rosebud 💓🌷💓

Glad all are doing well. Baby blondes is now 3.5mths or 16w tue

Now trying to say months not weeks tho when get weighed at clinic they ask for weeks

I read blue roses blog every day and her daughter is coming on leaps and bounds. The pics are amazing. She is so gorgeous

Hope blue won't mind me saying what she has put in blog but they hope Aviana will be coming home soon

Major achievement 💓👶🏼💓

And if you are reading this @blueroses big hugs and thoughts to You all for jovan 💙👶🏼💙

Blueroses99 · 18/07/2017 15:12

Congratulations Rosebud!

HP lovely to hear that Baby HP has grown so much and is doing well. 9 months already!

Sammy glad the twins are doing well.

Blondes I'm having to count in months now too which feels very strange when I've previously been counting days!

Following on from Blondes update (thank you and don't mind at all)...

Aviana is home!!

After 91 days in NNU, she came home at exactly 3 months old and still 3 weeks before her due date! Taking a while to sink in I think, but I am so happy! She is on oxygen and will be weaned slowly off that but otherwise doing great.

It was Jovan's first birthday last Friday, that was hard. Very bittersweet.

Hope everyone else is well xx

HP07 · 18/07/2017 15:29

Blueroses, so glad that Aviana is doing so well. I really cannot believe it has already been a year, must've been a hard day for you but I hope you managed to celebrate Jovan's life and his first birthday. I have been trying to read snippets of your blog when I get the chance. Enjoy having your little girl home at last. X

Blueroses99 · 16/08/2017 11:06

HP so sorry for not replying earlier, thought I was checking threads now and then but missed this Blush

We did celebrate Jovan on his birthday, it was hard but as nice as we could make it. Absolutely loving having Aviana home. I do struggle sometimes though, just don't know what to do, if she is crying for no obvious reason etc.

How's mini HP getting on? And all the other thread babies? xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 16/08/2017 15:42

All babies cry. Sometimes for no reason

Check the usual reasons and try to change the following

Hungry
Tired
Pooed
Pain
Bored
Frustration
Location just changing a room or going out in garden often works

Times dd 4.5mths moans for no reasons. Usually sitting on my lap singing silly songs works and jolts her out of paddy

Blueroses99 · 17/08/2017 19:05

I probably sound really silly to even mention crying - it's just that it's so different to how things have been until now so I'm a bit thrown. Thanks Blondes, I'll try those things. At the moment cuddles seem to solve most issues 😊

HP07 · 17/08/2017 19:27

Hi all,
We're doing great thanks. Baby HP is 10.5 months now and time is really flying by. I can't believe this time last year I was getting ready for the final count down. My due date was 20th sept so I thought I only had weeks left but actually he was 2 weeks over due in the end! We've been having loads of fun this summer at the zoo, farm, splash park and meeting up with friends. It's been great.
Blueroses, just keep doing everything you are doing and believe me mummy cuddles are sometimes the only solution. I echo everything Blondes says plus also recommend a sling if you don't have one already and only other reason I can think of at the moment for a baby that cries a lot is regurg/silent reflux so might be worth looking into that more if there isn't an improvement. X

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/08/2017 19:42

Not silly at all @blueroses. It's all new to you and when they cry you do wonder why

It's just the case of trying to illuminate the obvious but fab cuddles work at mo

loopylou1984 · 17/08/2017 19:47

Hi all, loving the updates on the babies :)
My girls are 6 months now (!) and so we're entering the world of weaning!

They are happy girls most of the time, and haven't let being premature slow them down.

I'm struggling a bit with naps at the moment as they require a lot of input from me to fall asleep and obviously there's only 1 of me during the day.

Other than that all is good!

HP07 · 15/10/2017 01:35

Anyone still around on here anymore?
How's it going?
Baby HP is a year old now. I just cant believe it.

stealthbanana · 15/10/2017 09:23

I'm here! Wow HP can't believe it's a year - where does the time go?!

Baby stealth is almost 10 months old, has 8 teeth and is standing up by himself. He's a proper little person now! It's amazing how quickly they grow. He is not sleeping through the night yet (which is great given in back at work full time) but apart from that is an absolute joy 💙

Grumpelstiltskin · 15/10/2017 14:34

Hi stealth! Stealthini sounds like he's flourishing. Excellent tooth-growing especially. And HP- a year old already?! This year has gone so quickly.
Hope everyone is doing well and enjoying their little people.

Grumpette is 8mo next week and a little treasure. Trying to crawl, loves her food, and has a mere half a tooth so far. She's at such an fun age soaking everything up around her.

RavingRoo · 15/10/2017 14:36

About to start IVF and wasn’t very hopeful. This thread has given me hope. Thank you. Flowers
