Hi Ladies, yes thank you. My little jelly bean is developing as expecting, nice strong heart beat and no signs of where the bleed is coming from so I’m wondering if it’s my cervix as I have history of ectropion. 12 week scan isn’t too far away now either so fingers crossed that everything will be AOK. Hope all the babies are well. My little monkey is out at a coffee shop with daddy this morning as I was at work until 3am this morning so I’ve just been catching up on my sleep.

Blondeshavemorefun · 26/11/2017 11:47

Glad all is good

Have poorly dd. Up last night with croup and coughing etc. Called 111 and got sent to hospital. She’s ok but glad she’s been checked out as only 8mths

blue2014 · 27/11/2017 17:39

Hi all!

So lovely to hear all of your updates!

Huge congratulations HP!!! That's amazing news. I hope your 12 week scan goes well and the bleeding stops soon- as we know all too well, the worrying never ends!

Baby Rose is almost 5 months old now and is an absolute dream. She is honestly the most chilled, content baby- we are totally blessed in so many ways.
DH and I are definitely hoping for another. We aren't bothering with contraception but the likelihood of an instadiff is slim to none, so will arrange to be reunited with one of our Frosties within the next year we hope.

Blondes- our little girl has been in hospital with croup too. It's so scary isn't it? The struggling to breathe sound is just the worst.
She's almost better now though.
I hope your little one gets better soon

X

Blondeshavemorefun · 01/12/2017 20:25

Thank you @Rose. She’s much better thanks. Speedy recovery to your bubs

It’s weird but a lot of things the ivf babies I know including my dd are so chilled and relaxed - not sure if the drugs .....

Merry Christmas all. This will be the last one with just the three of us. We had our 12 week scan last Friday and everything is going well. I hope everyone has an amazing Christmas whether it’s your special very first with baby or whether your little one is now starting to get more interactive and enjoying their second lot of festivities! I will Blue. I know life is so hectic now we have babies. This second pregnancy is a million miles away from the anxious days of my first when I was constantly posting on the pregnancy after infertility thread. This time the weeks are flying by as opposed to the days that dragged by last time round. It’s mad. X

blue2014 · 25/12/2017 08:13

I'm so so happy for you HP (which is nice for me to say and really mean - I used to be a bitter old barren, I'm so much nicer since I got my baby win Grin) wishing you a happy and uneventful pregnancy

Merry Xmas again everyone. It's 8.15am and bluelet is still asleep. What's betting this is the last Xmas day lie in I get until he's 15 Grin

Hello all and a happy new year!

I've just been reading and catching up on everyones news. Huge congrats HP! That is awesome news!

Blondes and Rosebud I hope your little ones are all better now. It must have been terrifying for you.

Blueroses I have posted on the pregnancy after infertility thread to you, but incase you havent seen it, Ijust said that I still keep up with your blog regularly and its lovely to see how your little girl is doing :-)

Baby MPP is doing well. He's 9 months old now and he is a handsome, happy and amazing little guy who makes me smile constantly! Still breastfeeding (though got a very light AF back at 7 months, which was rather annoying!!) and just generally taking each day at a time and enjoying him. Not sure if anyone remembers, but I had to defer the last two assignments for my university module when he arrived early so I have to jump back in and get those done in the next couple of months and I'm in a mild panic about where the hell I will get the time, haha!

Stealth I see you asked about who might like to try again. Its something thats been on my mind, though we havent made a decision yet. Like you, I think we would also consider stopping at one if we didnt have frosties as I hate the thought of starting over again, but we do have three frosties over in reprofit so I'm currently not sure what to do. We paid for a years storage originally and that ran out in August so the clinic emailed and asked what we would like to do (almost the same options as Blondes) and we opted to pay for another year while we decide. I think I would like to try for another but I had an awful lot of complications towards the end and my DH is rather worried about the possible effects on my physical and mental health if we had to go through that again. Jury's out at the moment I suppose!

Anyway, I hope everyone is well and has had a lovely christmas with the little ones! :-)

lucieloos · 11/02/2018 16:24

Wow great news HP congratulations! I actually popped on here to see if anyone was considering trying for number 2 yet? I am thinking of possibly doing a natural FET on my next cycle. I'm still breastfeeding so want to try and prolong that as much as possible hence the natural rather than medicated.

HP07 · 11/02/2018 17:58

Thank you. How old is your little one now Lucieloos? I have my 20 week scan tomorrow. It’s going so quickly. I am still breastfeeding at the moment. Thinking about weaning him completely at the beginning of April. I don’t think it will be too difficult as he only has a feed before bed now. Then it will give me about 3 months between stopping breastfeeding and my due date. How is everyone? Life is so busy post baby isn’t it? We’re off on holiday to Morocco on Tuesday. I can’t wait. Xx

Blondeshavemorefun · 11/02/2018 20:47

Wow at 20e. Half way :)

All good here. Baby blondes is into eveuething
And pulling self up and walking round furniture
And walking with zombie steps with walker

Now 10mths and still had made my whole world

Planning her first birthday party

stealthbanana · 14/02/2018 10:54

Wow 20 weeks already hp! Amazing.

lucie how the devil are you? I am in awe that you’re ready to go again - I am definitely still not ready. (Am also still breastfeeding and don’t have a natural cycle - still no period back so doing a natural fet not an option at this point anyway.)

mpp you’re amazing fitting in study! I feel like my brain didn’t come back until I went back to work - I still find it really hard to focus when I’m at home, I need to be in the office to get anything done!

Stealthini is almost 14 months and has turned into a proper little boy - walking, talking and generally making hi wishes known 😍 I must say that I’m massively preferring this stage to the “proper baby” stage. He’s a proper little man now.

Blue2014 · 14/02/2018 13:34

20 weeks HP! Wow!

Good to hear from everyone. Bluelet is also 14 months and still bloody wonderful. I'm very very very very!! lucky 😊

I love being his mum but I'm definitely only cut out for one. I've had the coil fitted. We are done.

lucieloos · 14/02/2018 19:09

Stealth, hi there! I'm good thanks. Little one is almost 9 months and she is amazing such a funny little character. Still not sleeping great at night but we are managing. I want to try and get my babies in before 40 so I need to get a move on really. Doctor has told me success rates are the same for natural and medicated fet so I'm going to give it a go. We will be using one of our pgs embryos this time too but I don't feel massively hopeful probably due to so many failures and heartache before. So my first scan is a week on Friday to check lining is thick enough and if it is I will trigger and have transfer a week later Shock

That sounds amazing about stealthini they change so quickly all the time don't they! Is her in nursery during the week? We will be started settling in soon as I return to work in April which I'm kind of dreading.

HP, how are you finding breastfeeding whilst being pregnant? Has your milk started to dry up at all? Hope your scan went well.

HP07 · 14/02/2018 20:03

Hi Lucie, yes the scan was fine. Baby HP 2.0 is cooking nicely. Well I didn’t get pregnant until my boy was one so he was already down to limited feeds during the day. He’s since cut his morning feed and only has one before bed now. I stopped nursing from one of my breasts a couple of months ago as he kept refusing that one so now I only use the left. He still seems to get as much milk as he wants from there so all good at the moment. Having said that we are currently on holiday and dinner is late over here so he’s only just going to bed which is late for him and he keeps shaking his head at me when I suggest milk. So not sure what is going to happen tonight. He was very tired until 10 mins ago and now he’s got a second wind! Confused

BabytoBoris · 17/02/2018 15:08

Hi all do you remember me? I had my little DS on Nov 16 after ivf at retrofit. He is doing really well now but was seriously ill at the end of last year.
I’m also 21 weeks pregnant with baby number two (sharing the same due dad s HP) after a natural cycle FET with one of our Frosties which was in storage in the Czech Republic. Baby two is a little girl.
Lovely to see all your news. Xxx

Babytoboris · 17/02/2018 15:09

Due date - I still haven’t learned to proof read..
I’m in touch with Sammy too, she is doing a great job as a mummy still.

Babytoboris · 17/02/2018 15:12

My DS stopped breast feeding almost as soon as I got pregnant, I think he didn’t like the hormones but also it coincided with him getting sick. he was 10 months old at that point and was only BF in the evening.

Blondeshavemorefun · 17/02/2018 15:43

i rem you boris,congrats on no 2

sammy was mumof twins?

lucie good luck with fet

HP07 · 17/02/2018 17:03

Boris I’m glad you cleared that up! Same dads! GrinGrinGrin
I mean I know we’re friends in RL now but I’m not sure about that! GrinShock

stealthbanana · 18/02/2018 08:51

Hi boris! Really sorry your son has been unwell. Hope all is ok now? Sounds really stressful. And congrats on no 2!

Say hi to sammy also, really great to hear she’s doing well.

So lovely to hear all these updates - weird to think that 2 years ago we were all clustered on these threads out of our minds with stress over treatment or early pregnancy worries. I don’t think the feelings that infertility bring will ever leave me but it’s nice to have it at a safe distance for now.
