Ohhhh UD, I'll be secretly very jealous if you are.

Dh said I'm bloody mad this morning when I told him george makes me want to do it all over again.....but then there have been a few things that DH has said/done that makes me wonder if he feels the same

It won't be happening though.

Anyway...yes do a test.

(can I hope that you are? it would be FAB IMO)

I seen the thread now Wilkie, I'm quute a looker aren't I??

wilkie50 · 28/02/2007 08:56

UD - I'm confused, have I missed something?? Why do you think you are PG? - do you want another one yet? [nosey Wilkie]

This CO thing seems to be wearing off!! He's getting more and more cranky and unsettled. I am so desperately hoping when we go back on Friday he manages to 'fix' the problem!! He did say it could take 3-4 sessions but when J was SO good after the first one I though we had cracked it...

If the CO doesn't manage to help long term, do you think it is something J will grow out of? I am terrified of having a miserable baby.....and breathe. Think the problem is I am a Virgo - need organisation and solutions, not really something you get with a baby!

LTH - you are beaooootiful!

theUrbanDryad · 28/02/2007 09:06

Wilkie - i thought exclusive bf-ing protected you until you weaned, but my gp said not entirely and she's put the wind right up me!! i don't really want another one yet, but have found myself making contingency plans and looking at the little tiny sleepsuits that was all that would fit ds when he was firstborn!

i'll do a test with my next wee and let you all know...

ellieandhattie · 28/02/2007 09:08

wilkie my mum and ellie are both virgos and are both so organised and control freaks who love routines (i think i should have been a virgo as i'm all these things but think thats 18 years of living with a virgo)ellie gets all stroppy if out of her routine so i can imagine what shes going to be like when shes older.

I know my friend that i told you about that did the co took 6 weeks each week her lo would settle an extra day, does that make sense? I know ellie was so much happier around 4 months when she was sitting up and starting to grab for things and could 'play' for a bit so it may end up being a combination of both.

UD do you think you could be you must do a virtual live mumsnet preg test re the pushchair we have several options:-

walking to local shops hattie in stroller ellie walks or takes her bike

town - normally take double buggy as ellie gets bored or if needed can strap her in so i know where she is

town minus ellie or if dh there take the travel system pushchair as hattie can lay flat in it and if i don't have ellie i tend to wander around more so more comfortable

going to the park ellie walks and take hattie in sling but normally take a stroller as ellie knackered on the way home

have to say ellie very good at walking and hasnt used a pushchair much since about 19 months just taken it out in case she wanted it alot of the time

Lizzzombie · 28/02/2007 11:16

Its not fair, why won't my LO sleep longer?
I am totally living up to my name at the moment, look like an extra from 'Night of the living dead'

Can I just ask - does anyone else have a spotty baby? And if its just me, any ideas how I can get rid of the spots? He looks worse than me!

theUrbanDryad · 28/02/2007 11:48

Lizzz - Zac went really spotty at about 3 weeks, i thought it was quite normal, but the HV said it was eczema and gave me a prescription for Epaderm for him. in fairness, it's cleared up a treat now! HV also said that too much dairy in your diet (if you're bf-ing) can make them spotty, especially if you suffer from eczema yourself. HTH

LadyTophamHatt · 28/02/2007 12:15

George is spotty too, Lizzz.
its something to do with their skin geting your to being out in the wrold.

All of mine have had it at this age

Lizzzombie · 28/02/2007 12:30

hmm, so it could be because I powerwalk (ish) along the seafront exposing him to fresh air (even though I have the buggy cover thingy on) or it could be because I stuff myself with chocolate, cheese and milkshakes.
Good to know I am not the only one with a pizza faced baby. (I love him really) Just followed your lead UD and gave him mega feed from both tits. Took ages but he seems fuller than usual. I feel like such a cow!

wilkie50 · 28/02/2007 12:47

'...mega feed from both tits...' - you have such a way with words Lizz pmsl

J is a bit spotty on his cheeks - sometimes they get white heads on that I am just dying to pick but I don't . He only gets one or two but sometimes they are right corkers. Mind you, I hve an extra head growing on my chin - might buy it a bobble hat

trixymalixy · 28/02/2007 12:52

I also have a spotty baby, I hope it's a bit better by this time next week as we have a photographer coming. It's a free session through Emma's diary. Has anyone else had this?

I am a bit about it, but it's free and I get one free picture. I'm sure any other copies will be about £5000000 though!!!

Had a good night last night, fed him at 11, then he slept fromm 11.30-3.30 and then from 5-8. 7 hours sleep is a luxury!!!

Am very at your LO's sleeping though Amyclaire!! What's your secret?

I have picked/popped georges zits.

I'm his mother so I am allowed.

Trixy, We had the emmas diary phoitos done when DS2 was a baby (bloody hell yonks ago now) and they are FAB. It's really nice having them come to you j=house because the children are so much more relaxed. DS2's photo is the best ababy photo we have...It look s like a advert for something it so good (and obviously because he's so handsome)

Muckypup · 28/02/2007 13:11

Hi

I've just found the website. My DS was born on Jan 26th. He's not too bad at night but makes a snorting sound when he wakes up hungry which is quite funny until it finally builds up to a wail. He feeds at least every two hours during the day though!

Does anyone live in the West London area? I'm in Shepherds Bush W12.

LadyTophamHatt · 28/02/2007 13:13

Sorry, forgot to say I've been putting a teeny bit of aquaous cream on Georges cheeks/spots and it's really helped. His cheeks are still a ittle red but the actual spots have got much better.

LadyTophamHatt · 28/02/2007 13:15

nowhere near you Muckypup but justwanted to say Welcome

wilkie50 · 28/02/2007 13:40

Okay, I admit, I have maybe picked one or two....[bad mother emotion]. I also have a bit of a thing about his bogies - love fishing them out and then marvelling at their size (soooo long!!) and colour. OK, it's official, I am a freak!!!

God I'm bored today - it's peeing down with rain, I can't go out and the devil child has reappeared. Someone come and play

Welcome to the madhouse Mucky pup - no where near you either I'm afraid x

LadyTophamHatt · 28/02/2007 13:44

Wilkie, george is affionatley know as the big bogey baby here....it great picking them out isn't it??

trixymalixy · 28/02/2007 14:09

LTH, how much were other copies of the photos, are they a fortune?

Eeew at baby bogies and squeezing baby spots!
