Oh and as to wobbly bits... Let me know if you figure that out. I need to give up eating. It doesn't do me any good!Wink

WLmum · 17/07/2016 08:22

Oh yes, the food - yesterday I balanced a salad with cheesecake!!

WreckTangled · 17/07/2016 08:26

I'm not doing great right now. It's too hot for exercise! Plus I'm eating too much chocolate again!

MrsNutella · 17/07/2016 17:21

I know it's about 80/90% what you eat and only about 10/20% exercise plus the unhelpful thought that when I have done sport I can have more cake

It is 34 here today and due to shoot up to 40 in a couple of days Blush

GeoffreysGoat · 17/07/2016 19:59

Nut it's probably only early 20s here but have No Clothes. I have a really limited summer wardrobe anyway and this year it's all two sizes too small. Today I'm in 3/4 sleeved jersey and skinny jeans.

I have promised myself that next year - when our income is stable and I'mnit feeding - will be different and I will have nice clothes Hmm

WLmum · 17/07/2016 23:05

goat not sure if the pennies will stretch this far but I've had some really nice bits from tesco and sainsbos that have been literally a few £. A summer dress I wear quite a bit and always get compliments on was £10 in the tesco sale about 5 years ago. It's pretty thin but so much the better for a heatwave! Any old jeans or trousers you can cut off into shorts? Perhaps stuff that you will be too slim for next year?

If I get a reasonable nights sleep (please dds!) will get up early to run before it gets too hot. Feeling quite anxious too so sleep will help.

GeoffreysGoat · 18/07/2016 09:11

I've got nectar points but time to rummage! Plus next year I won't be feeding, at least not during the day, so won't need access. Anything I buy now at least for my top half won't be what I'd actually like (because of needing boob access) so it feels wasteful iyswim?

WLmum · 18/07/2016 09:49

I never had clothes with particular boob access, just lifted up or unbuttoned - brazen hussy that I am! Considering I fed T til she was 3, I would have been a long time in special clothes!

Had a beautiful peaceful run this morning, got back and everyone was till fast asleep - ahh!

GeoffreysGoat · 18/07/2016 10:42

So do I, but all the buttony things I've seen are fugly! And I don't like lifting up I seem to end up with miles of fabric under my chin. So vest tops and cardigans it us, most of which have ragged bits

GeoffreysGoat · 18/07/2016 22:48

2 pairs of linen trousers 99p each in age uk this morning. Result!

WreckTangled · 19/07/2016 05:48

Got drunk Sunday and told dd she could skip school yesterday and go to the beach Blush

GeoffreysGoat · 19/07/2016 08:20

😂 best place to be!

Barbeasty · 19/07/2016 15:35

No Goat, my lovely airconditioned office has made work far more pleasant an idea that usual this week! Unlike the distinctly un-airconditioned train I'm sitting in for the journey home....

We have air con at work but it isn't great. Currently in the garden under my gazebo. It's 33 degrees...

WLmum · 19/07/2016 22:42

Good work goat!

halestone · 20/07/2016 11:27

Bargain Goat Grin

Wrecked i considered keeping H off yesterday as well i was worried about the heat and her being a ginge. I know that sounds so PFB.

Beasty that train journey does not sound nice at all.

I've been doing picky teas this week and not stressing about how much H eats. It turns out she is actually doing much better than i thought she would. She loves making her own wraps.

WreckTangled · 21/07/2016 15:32

Summer holidays now! Woo hoo! Can't wait to fill it with loads of fun (no doubt expensive) things

WLmum · 21/07/2016 21:16

Dm is in hospital. She's away this week on a pre planned holiday (uk) with mil (they are very close) who just rang to tell me. Sad

WreckTangled · 21/07/2016 21:23

Oh no WL Sad I'm sorry to hear that, what has happened?

WLmum · 21/07/2016 23:00

Looks like she has an infection. Waiting for blood results to find out more but she's had 3 lots of ABs and is apparently on the up.

WLmum · 21/07/2016 23:14

I had a feeling all day today that she wasn't well. I went for a run (with dd1 on the bike) to try to calm my anxiety.

WLmum · 22/07/2016 14:00

And today I left the handbrake off my car in the car park and it rolled into another car. Sigh.

MrsNutella · 22/07/2016 14:18

WL Flowers I'm sorry, you sound a bit worn out at the moment. I wish there was a practical way we could help.
We're here for whatever moaning you need!

I am knackered. The DC are driving me nuts. They aren't sleeping great which means that I am also not sleeping well which makes for hyper, demanding children who want to be carried and or entertained every waking second. and a grumpy mummy

My mum seems to be a servant to her DH/partner - last time we came he was busy Monday to Friday with a student; I think having some work to keep him busy was good for them both. My Mum has always served her men and it gets frustrating. If we are having a conversation and he walks in the room he will talk to her, she will reply and if necessary leave to go with him to sort out whatever he wants/needs.
She has always been this way. I know she is this way with men. It still pisses me off. They will always be her priority.

It is starting to bother me and it's making DH and I both question what we will do next year...

WLmum · 22/07/2016 19:30

Thanks nutella. Putting it on here helps a lot. I rang the lady who's car it was and she was super nice and understanding.
That sounds very frustrating re your mum - just tell dh not to get any ideas!! What about next year?
My dds are the same - last weeks sleep was awful and we were all ratty. It's a bit cooler now so hopefully better sleep and they can lie in / chill out in the mornings now school has broken up (when they don't have holiday club!)

WreckTangled · 22/07/2016 20:10

Sounds completely shitty WL Wine for the weekend.

Mine haven't been sleeping in the heat dd has still been up at 9:30! Cooler now though.

Nutella are you in the uk? That would drive me mad too. It's like the patients at work whose husbands take for/over them I hate it.

One little boy (2.6) at work today came in usual viral thing always in and I noticed he's had 70 appointments with us in his short life Shock
