Taking DD1 to her dance class Christmas Party so got some sarnies to be getting on with.

Hi Pavlov I think the dress is really lovely. I'm not sure about adjusting it but I think there is a topic on mumsnet that you could post it under.

Just looked and if you start a thread in Arts and Crafts I'm sure someone in there will know about adjusting a wedding dress.

thanks US, it might well fit, but when I tried some on in a shop, I said I was size 8 and the person laughed and said not with a wedding dress your not, and she was right I was a size 12, but too long! However measurements on this one seem to be ok...

OMG my Lo has tipped water all over her and onto her dinner tray. She is now playing with the mess of toast and philly, banana all mixed with water and some sweet potato puree she chucked over it. She is a state. I will be sweet and run DP a nice bath for when he gets home from work in an hour...and she will be going in it too! I am devious in my kindness!

should I take a chance and bid on it. I could always re-sell it if it does not fit/costs to much to take out...it is rather cheap...

OMG that was close. I changed my mind about the dress but was winning bidder by lots, 4 mins to go and I am outbid by £2.00. PHEW. I was a little hasty, I been told it is easier to take in than let out...

Just had a bit of a sleep as not sleeping well in the night, having nightmare childcare at the moment
been back at (pt)work for 4 weeks and
dd2 has been to 2 nurseries and 1 childminder, now very unsettled at night with waking uop every 1-2 hours
dd1 was told on thursday she was going to be picked up by Y and ended up being picked up by Z, monday she goes to a nursery she has never been before. Surprise that last friday she was quite tearful and didn't want to go to her usual preschool.
last tuesday I went to 2 different houses in the hope to find dd1 and ds there, they were sowhere else, waiting in the car whilest ds' friend went for football training

Woah - loads of messages, I go out for one night (getting to be a habit this, went out last weekend and all ) and have had to spend the last 20 mins trying to catch up.

Had exciting day today, looking for new specs, want to get something a bit more daring. Then we had lunch out, DS was good as gold all day, apart from a truly revolting exploding poo incident, but wasn't his fault. Let's just say that I didn't fit that particular nappy...

Went out with work colleagues last night, things really don't seem good there, am even more determined not to go back now. We can just about cover our bills on DH's salary with a tiny amount of pocket money left over, fingers crossed.

Doh, and while I was typing my epic, loads of other posts

Big news for me tonight. My BF had a baby boy tonight, Jack james 9 pounds 11!!! I KNOW!!! Gas and air all the way, ventouse in the end, and currently in theatre being stiched up. Oooooch! So so so proud of her, she spent the afternoon here yesterday moaning and groaning as she was 5 days overdue, thinking it would never happen, as my two caused chaos around her. So excited for her can't wait to meet him, and dead dead chuffed!!

KZ, glad your back. Flight sounds like a total nightmare. xx

HC - £398 on bedding! mine was £98 including delivery from M&S and i thought I was being extravagant! Wot did you buy, gold trim embroidered??? Yes that was our water bill, must stop doing so much frigging washing.

Managed to have an all out row with DH in the middle of the mall this morning, and stropped off with the double buggy, causing him to say where do you think you're going with my kids! so they are allowed to be his kids when he is pissed, but now when I am up at 6.15am with them both while he lies in till 8am....He is porrly with a stomach bug today which is the only reason I have forgiven him for being such a cock. Honestly, I find the weekends ten times more stressful than the week days, and I don't get it when my friends say "Phew it's the weekend, glad DH will be around for an extra pair of hands..." maybe I need to chill more and just let it all flow around me........
