Thought I had better start a new thread as the old one was about to crash

Happy 30th B'Day kbaby Wish I was 30 again but then I suppose I wouldn't even be married let alone have a house to live in or my 2 precious children. Whoops-going all sentimental now, better go!

Taking DD1 to her dance class Christmas Party so got some sarnies to be getting on with.

Happy Sunday

Morning all

Oh god i am knackered!! I got in last night at 11.30pm having had 5 glasses of wine and god knows how many crisps nuts quiche i ate.But you know what i don't care.I had a great laugh with friends so stuff the diet lol.

Got up at 6.30 to do my Davina dvd,did the warm up and legs and bums and i'm all sweaty and my legs are like jelly so must have done me some good hey?Need to jump in the shower again, first time in years i have been out of breath like that.Must buy a good bra, feeding bras offer no support as my poor norks will attest to.
Dp out working tonight so will i try the upper body part of the dvd? Cmon girls tell me to do it and tone my flabby bits!!

Ceebee74 · 24/02/2007 09:27

You ladies were busy last night!

Agalch - do the upper body bit tonight - ther eI have told you Is the DVD good? I want to buy a couple of exercise DVD's but can never make up my mind which ones to buy.

I have to agree about the money situation - now I am only working 3 days a week and taking into account nursery fees, our joint income has reduced by £700 which was more than our disposable income before therefore we now have zilch disposable income and still struggling to meet all our outgoings - I think DH is getting annoyed aswell when I keep saying no when he wants to buy things! But, I have to say, to me, it is worth the sacrifices to have those 2 extra days at home with Josh. My friend who had a baby 4 weeks after me has come back to work full-time and keeps moaning that she has no money but I have to say that despite her keeping her full salary, I would rather do what I am doing.

Anyway here is a photo of Josh having just finished his tea the other day - not sure how much went in his tummy

Pavlovthecat · 24/02/2007 09:47

aw cbeebies - he looks great!! I would say he enjoyed it...! How do you do photos...I cant get mine uploaded...

Pavlovthecat · 24/02/2007 09:49

Aglach - dont put yourself through so much trauma. Eat the nuts, drink the wine and do palates...much more gentle, you get to lie down lots, and it tones, flattens, lengthens brilliantly...Davina, she did not get flat by exercise - she had it all sucked out...(am I cynical?...noooo!)

Pavlovthecat · 24/02/2007 09:50

ceebeeie - have to agree with money thing also - we are down about the same too. My partner has dropped two days per week, and I am doing the same, although working longer hours over the three days at work (if they approve it), it means childcare for one day, which will be great for our LO, but not too much childcare. I also like that we are sharing the caring, as it means LO will have a great realtionship with mama and dada

Ceebee74 · 24/02/2007 09:53

Pavlov - here is the link for Image Shack which I use

Click browse and go to where your photos are stored on your computer - select the photo you want and then click 'host it' (bottom left).

Once it has done it (can take a while) copy the bottom http address and paste it into your message - hope that is clear and works

Pavlovthecat · 24/02/2007 09:53

ceebee - been spelling your name wrong - I do apologise, its very rude of me

Ceebee74 · 24/02/2007 09:55

Pavlov - sounds like a good arrangement you have - Josh goes to nursery for the 3 days I work which obviously costs more. But he does really seem to enjoy it and is getting far more out of it (activities, socialising etc) than I would give him if he was at home 7 days a week with me! He did finger painting yesterday - don't think it would ever occur to me to do that

Ceebee74 · 24/02/2007 09:55

You are forgiven

Pavlovthecat · 24/02/2007 09:55

Ceebee - Do I need to resize?

Pavlovthecat · 24/02/2007 09:58

ceebee - i agree, I think it is great for Los to spend time with other children, it is wonderful for the development. If we get the balance right, it is the best thing. We were going to do more than one day, but I get paid more than DP, and it works out that the money we would pay for additional childcare, we can pretty much save if he does not work those days, and be house 'biatch' as we call him.

Ceebee74 · 24/02/2007 09:58

I never do so I don't think so

Ceebee74 · 24/02/2007 10:45

This should work now Pavlov - if you look in where all the smileys are next to where you write your message, there is a bit on how to do links

Ceebee74 · 24/02/2007 10:46

Oh she looks gorgeous - I take it you are going down the BLW route?

KZ - WELCOME BACK! We have missed you - the flight will all be a bad dream soon enough.

We are currently doing BLW, as she recently decided to shut up shop with puree. End of, caput. No more. However since the BLW, she has taken the odd pot of puree. She is very very independent and wants to do it herself, she insists on it and gets very upset if we try to help her! Take a look at this one...this was less messy food fight, which she won!

Thanks ceebee - I am really rather useless at this kind of stuff, it means reading things thoroughly, I am an 'activist' which means I go steaming right in without checking it all out properly!

Pavlovthecat · 24/02/2007 11:06

LOl - did not add it. here goes...

Am off to meet Dp for early luncheon with the Poppet. Means some fresh air for us two...

See you all this afternoon, perhaps you can advise me on a wedding dress I have seen on ebay?!

pavlov - welcome!

sorry to hear a lot of you are feeling down... hope your feeling better soon x x

algach you sond like your doing great guns so dont worry too much and dont do too much and end up having to limp down the aisle.

meet up was good, jake behaved terribly! He wouldnt eat the food i brought for him even thought it was usually his favorite..grrr

me and dp (it sounds nice that and makes a change not to type an 'x' at the start) are ok. we tend to do the deep whenever he comes to bed on time...we pretty much cant keep our hands to ourselves but its like that when you make up! its nice but im tired!

ceebee - thanks for telling me im off to search for it now as it sounds nice that she said that!

better goits probably only a small amount of time before jake gets into trouble again

Pavlovthecat · 24/02/2007 13:20

look at this...I hope it comes out as it should, not good at these links yet, should I bid. I am worried it might be too small, how easy is it to make a little bigger?
