Hi ladies, thanks Indom for the suggestion of me starting a new thread. Seeing as Zach and myself have been knocking about on antenatal since November it will be lovely to have you all joining us shortly in the baby, rather than pregnancy conversations! Bring on the March babies!!!!

Morning ( from the 5am backache and hip cramp club!)

He's lovely Me! Well done you!

Yeah, it all went to nothing, marmite. Bet I've got weeks yet.

marmiteandcheeseplease · 05/03/2016 06:16

Same here indom - was hoping I'd get a rude awakening in the night with things starting but nope! Got pregnancy yoga this morning on the other side of town which involves walking and getting the bus so hoping another long walk will make things favourable! Have to keep reminding myself I'm not even overdue yet!

What a cutie me, congrats! Hope recovery is going well.

MyNameIsSuz · 05/03/2016 07:09

Ahh Me, he's lovely!

I'm feeling the same marmite and indomitable, every day I'm feeling like I'm close but then nothing happens. I'm not even due until Thursday so could have another almost three weeks of this yet!

So tired this morning, up twice in the night with ds Sad then he badgered me to get up as soon as his gro clock went yellow. I will definitely need an afternoon nap!

Woodenmouse · 05/03/2016 08:25

mrsb he's so gorgeous!!

me beautiful name for a beautiful baby!!

We sent ds1 to his grandparents last night in the hope things were going to start but nothing. I have had a lovely nights sleep though!

Dh is sending me into a rage today!! He was supposed to buy food for mothers day (he and my df are cooking for me and my dm) and he's forgotten. He's working all day and all evening today. He said oh you don't mind getting it do you? Well I do mind, im 4 days overdue and I have a 2.5yo who has a meltdown anywhere near a supermarket, even bribery has stopped working. I've already done everything for mothers day for his mum I sent flowers and bought her a card (which Dh forgot to post).

I know its normal big thing I'm just very hormonal and I want my baby!!

docmcstuffins1 · 05/03/2016 08:27

Awwwww gorgeous* pics and great names me and Mrsben*!

So I'm 1 day overdue today and have decided to 'let' DH go out mountain biking with his friends. He'll only be out for 5-6 hours, but may not have phone signal while he's out. He was happy not to go, but I don't see the point of us both sitting around waiting for something to happen (especially with no signs of anything so far). Am I mad?

MyNameIsSuz · 05/03/2016 08:35

That sucks wooden. If your dad is also cooking, couldn't he do the shopping?

It's just snowed here!!! At once exciting and worrying - if it carries on and the roads get tricky that's going to be a difficult trip to the hospital if I go into labour!

Woodenmouse · 05/03/2016 08:53

suz snow is exciting but I know what you mean about the roads!! I hope it doesn't get too bad.

We ordered to get the food as we normally go round to theirs on Sundays for lunch and they always buy the food so we thought it would be nice to cover the cost etc. I might have to ask df to buy it and I'll pay him back.

doc you might be a little bit mad!! But you're right there's no point in him sitting around doing nothing if nothing happens!!

MrsBenWyatt · 05/03/2016 08:54

Congratulations, Me. He is gorgeous and live his name!

That's rubbish wooden. Even if you could do it, the whole point it its a treat and you shouldn't have to.

My DH is usually super-organised, but leaves any school stuff for me to arrange. I loved listening to him trying to arrange the school run (not really a run, we live a three minute walk away from DD's school) yesterday. It was chaotic to say the least!

I had left a note on Tuesday with what needed doing each day, yet he still managed to leave at the very last minute, because he hadn't arranged a cheque for music lessons/homework/reading Grin.

It won't last, but today we didn't get up until 7.45 Shock. I fed Teddy twice between 10pm and waking up and he slept the rest of the time. Maybe, it's third child lucky with sleep????

Just got to go and soak in the bath and then remove the dressing from my section wound. Not looking forward to it at all Sad

magpiedreams · 05/03/2016 09:13

Congrats me! Gorgeous baby, well done you.

Feeling for all of you nearly due / overdue. I'm lagging behind at 36+5 and no signs of anything yet. I'm booked for induction on 28th at 40w though so will definitely have a baby in the next 23 days! PILs staying here this weekend so unfortunately lots of cooking / being polite and pleasant for me this weekend. Bleugh. Anyone feel like going into labour and providing some live labour updates??

maybebabybee · 05/03/2016 10:00

39+5 today. Nothing at all. Dreading the thought of having another 2 weeks of this but equally as a ftm I'm terrified of giving birth!

IndomitabIe · 05/03/2016 10:13

The pressure waves are back (when I'm upright). Got a proper waddle on. But I'm at the back of the queue with magpie so just pissed off at the prospect of another 4.5 weeks of being this uncomfortable.

DH is away tomorrow. So me & DS will be stuck home fending for ourselves. I need to find a carvery or something.

magpiedreams · 05/03/2016 10:22

Ah indom that's rubbish you and DS are home alone tomorrow. Either get so where booked for lunch, or, if it were me I might plan a Disney DVD and dominos delivery lunch?! But then I am a slob. And my DC would be AMAZED at pizza home delivery it would be quite a novelty. Is DH taking charge of DS today?

And...you never know, these pressure waves could be something.

IndomitabIe · 05/03/2016 10:37

Lol, no dominos delivery here! (And DS doesn't like pizza. Hmm). Not entirely sure where the nearest carvery is either, local pubs are shit/too high-brow for DS. Not sure I'm up for driving 30 miles to town either.

Might just hit the soft play place and have cheesy (or "chessy" as they are on the menu) chips for lunch!

Fuck me I'm grumpy. Angry

BeautifulLiar · 05/03/2016 11:07

Hope everyone is ok. Congrats Rhu and Me! They're so gorgeous. Well done you too. Me can't believe we both woke up in labour at the same time!!

Thanks everyone :) Nancy ended up in bed with me most of the night Hmm loved waking up next to her though!

Found my notes... labour was was recorded as 1 hour... pushing stage 1 minute! Sweet Jesus.

Rosie where are you?

Mmm indom carvery might be worth the drive. Hope your pains turn into something though...!

Aww maybe I feel bad for queue jumping as we were due date twins :( you never know though. The afternoon before Nance was born I was having my nails and pedicure done (so glad I did!) with no idea I'd wake up in labour. I did have a lot of pressure in the pelvis/bladder area on the Wednesday though! And all week I was quite anxious and emotional. And had lots of Braxton Hicks...

Rosieblossom123 · 05/03/2016 11:23

Oh wow I haven't been on here for so long and most of you had your babies, congrats girlies I'm so in love with the pictures :)

Still no sign of baby :( due date tomorrow and I've been so tired and sleeping all the time hence why I haven't been on here at all. Going for a sweep on Monday hopefully it will speed things up. Been having really strong period pain in the evenings and feeling sick but only in the evenings does that mean anything.

Beautiful Nancy's car seat made me smile haha can't wait until my baby girl is in it :)

IndomitabIe · 05/03/2016 13:38

Wowee, Beaut!

Just did a little 'self exam' and at first thought since I couldn't reach my cervix there was probably nothing special going on. But then I did, it felt soft and I could fit a finger in easy.

I'm pretty sure that's normal for this stage and means nothing, though!

maybebabybee · 05/03/2016 15:27

So jealous indom, I tried again today too and my cervix is definitely hiding!

Just walked about a half mile to tesco and back and it took me forever and destroyed my back - someone get this baby out of me!!

TriJo · 05/03/2016 15:57

Active birth class at my hospital this morning, felt like a repeat of NCT and I went in tired and cranky, wish I'd just stayed on the couch watching football in my PJs tbh!

Getting really uncomfortable now, think little guy's head has dropped lower because the 10 minute walk to the hospital has now become 15 minutes of a lot of pressure, discomfort and a complaining pelvis. 37+6 so still a way to go yet...

Woodenmouse · 05/03/2016 16:11

indom sorry to hear you are on your own!!
maybe that's how I feel!!

Dh managed to sort out food for tomorrow, he ended up staying at home as ds1 is ill and grumpy and I just can't cope at the mo.
My back is killing me and it feels like baby is about to fall out but I'm only getting the odd twinge Sad

Rosieblossom123 · 05/03/2016 16:15

Maybe that's how I feel too, I'm so over being pregnant, I really thought she'd be here before her due date but I guess not unless she makes an appearance tomorrow that would be lovely!!!

dobbythedoggy · 05/03/2016 16:45

Bump arrived at 16.37 yesterday.

March 2016 babies - 2 here already, many more yet to come!!!
IndomitabIe · 05/03/2016 16:52

Ahh, congratulations dobby!

I haven't been abandoned yet, that's tomorrow & Monday. So I've taken the opportunity to lie down upstairs by myself for most of this afternoon. Not very exciting, but not a lot else I can do!

2.5 weeks till due. Possibly another 2 weeks after that. Can I hibernate till it's over?

sherazade · 05/03/2016 16:53

Omg dobby he's beautiful!!
Right am feeling hard done by now everyone else is getting babies !!!! Haha

Woodenmouse · 05/03/2016 16:53

Absolutely gorgeous! Congratulations Dobby do you have a name yet?

marmiteandcheeseplease · 05/03/2016 16:55

Congrats dobby!!!

How on earth are some of you ladies checking your cervix?! Can't see how I'd manage it with my giganto bump! May try later...

DP is cooking veggie chilli tonight so asked him to get some fresh chillies from the local shop (I love fresh chillies) in another vain attempt to get things moving. Haven't even really had any BH today which is disappointing. I'm not actually desperate to get baby out as I'm feeling OK physically but it really would be nice to just have my baby now, I want to meet her!
