Hi ladies, thanks Indom for the suggestion of me starting a new thread. Seeing as Zach and myself have been knocking about on antenatal since November it will be lovely to have you all joining us shortly in the baby, rather than pregnancy conversations! Bring on the March babies!!!!

Beautiful well done!!Flowers massive congratulations and a big hello to Nancy Grin xxxx

Madmamma39 · 03/03/2016 18:25

Yay, congratulations beaut. Love the name.

I've been feeling a little off today, having mild period type pains but nothing to bad and just feel like I want to go to the loo (sorry tmi). Dh is stuck on a train!

Not sure it's anything but dd has been great helping look after DS and tidying up for me (without being the usual teen grump)!

Only 38 weeks today...

sherazade · 03/03/2016 18:27

Congrats beaut you've done it !!! Nancy is a lovely name too and what a great birth weight!

dobbythedoggy · 03/03/2016 18:35

mrsells sorry to hear you're back in hospital, hope you are right and she starts piling on the weight soon.

vroc I completely get why you're irriatated, my dh is pretty good about charging his phone but very prone to forgetting to take it with him. Or not answering it when he hears it ring, can take up to 25 calls to get hold of him. Luckily I've not needed to get hold of him urgently yet, but have a list of numbers of people he works with just incase.

I've got a stinking cold on top of uti, in agony when I cough or sneeze and can't breath through my mouth without coughing violently. Have been rendered completely useless and kept poor dh up most of the night coughing and crying out in pain. His insistant his not ill but seems to have the same cold too, which he denies but I think he gave to me. Dd is all over the place and being a proper pickle for him because everything is out of routine for her and I can't even give her a propper cuddle. About the only productive thing I've done is experiment with my wraps and slings to see if I can support some of my poor strained stomach mucels with them.

QforCucumber · 03/03/2016 18:35

Aww yay congratulations beautiful glad you're all well. I love the name Nancy - one of my best friends names Grin
9:07am?! Another good quick one for you, you're made for this birthing malarkey aren't you!!

magpiedreams · 03/03/2016 18:35

Oh congratulations beautiful! Sounds like it was pretty fast in the end, glad you went to hospital when you did! Nancy is a lovely name, and very apt indeed for world book day. That's her costume sorted for her first world book day dress up!

vroc hope you have a plan and get home soon. Has your no been ok since you got there? I think things don't seem as real to the DHs. Mine openly admits he keeps forgetting I'm pregnant Hmm. And he missed 3 calls from me yesterday morning (just asking him where something was) and rang back an hour later - I said "don't worry, I'm not in labour" "oh, I never considered that might be why you were phoning" he said!!

Sorry you're stuck in overnight mrsells, and I agree that feeding regime sounds restrictive, guess just go with it so they're happy and let you out soon!

Hope rhubarb and me are ok.

Pannacott · 03/03/2016 18:36

Congratulations Beautiful! Welcome to the world Nancy Smile

IndomitabIe · 03/03/2016 18:46

Yay! Congratulations Beaut!

Sorry to hear you're stuck in, MrsE.

Sorry you're feeling so rubbish, dobby.

I've been checking up all day in anticipation. Good vibes for Me and Rhu.

sherazade · 03/03/2016 18:47

mrsellis I'm totally with marmite if she's only 1% off and you're not comfortable with the formula leave it

maybebabybee · 03/03/2016 18:53

Woodenmouse · 03/03/2016 18:54

ffauxlivia · 03/03/2016 19:10

whoop well done and congrats beaut - we want pictures! And birth story! Flowers

Oh dobby that sounds awful, hope it clears up soon. The idea of giving birth with a nasty cold seems pretty hellish to me!

Aw MrsE hope you can get home soon

docmcstuffins1 · 03/03/2016 19:10

Woohoo, congratulations beautiful, Nancy is a lovely book day name Smile

docmcstuffins1 · 03/03/2016 19:15

Pressed post too soon!

Hope everything went equally well for Me and Rhubarb.

Sorry to hear you've got to stay in MrsE, hopefully you can get home soon and get your own feeding regime set up and ignore their restrictive advice.

Vroc DH's can be so frustrating can't they, I would be mad as hell!

Dobby sorry you feel so rubbish, as if late pregnancy isn't hard enough. Hope you feel better soon Thanks

vroc81 · 03/03/2016 19:25

Congratulations beaut and a lovely name!!

Sorry you're feeling rough dobbie hope you feel better soon.

MrsE hope you are back home soon too!

I've just got home, I've got to take drugs (labetalol) and go back tmrw for a BP check.. And then I'm on them for the duration.. Thank you for the DH sympathy, though not nessecary I'm making him take me back in the morning, he can do some tedious hanging around a hospital for a bit too!

MrsBenWyatt · 03/03/2016 19:33

Congratulations, Beaut. Gorgeous name!

I am home already after section (24 hour discharge) but was horrified to discover the only painkiller available was paracetamol or ibroprofen. For major surgery?! Angry

sherazade · 03/03/2016 19:34

That's horrific Mrsben - surely you need diclofenac??

RhubarbAndMustard · 03/03/2016 20:05

Jacob Oliver Peter was born at 2:59, weighing 7lb 15. So, so happy Grin.

Congrats to Beautiful.

IndomitabIe · 03/03/2016 20:06

Yay Rhu! Congratulations!

So many babies now! I WANT ONE!

sherazade · 03/03/2016 20:12

Congrats rhubarb what a lovely baby Flowers

shieldbug · 03/03/2016 20:23

Wow, congrats beautiful and rhubarb; great names too.

Good luck me, hope you have a baby by now!

Hope all goes well with Cassidy, MrsE and you are out soon. i spent 5 days in hospital with ds1 because he wouldn't feed properly and every time a new mw came on duty, they changed the regime I was meant to achieve before discharge. Eventually I found a consultant and cried and hey presto, they let me out! Lots of sympathy.

Had a sweep today but no effects so far. Was v pleased to hear I am now 1-2cm and a bit softer, so at least some (v slow) progress has been made since Monday. At this rate, it will be born in a month. 1 day overdue and counting....

MyNameIsSuz · 03/03/2016 20:30
