Hi ladies, thanks Indom for the suggestion of me starting a new thread. Seeing as Zach and myself have been knocking about on antenatal since November it will be lovely to have you all joining us shortly in the baby, rather than pregnancy conversations! Bring on the March babies!!!!

Hi Beaut! It's so nice to have others awake while this is happening! Definitely keep an eye on your pain, with your history of super fast labours you don't want to be waiting around at home for long! I'm sure your SIL won't mind about the birthday, it's not like you will have done it deliberately!

I decided to get up and am now sitting on the sofa. Moving around seems to have helped, these are definitely contractions but they have slowed down a bit now I am up and about. Coming about every 5 minutes or so at the moment but still fairly mild (well compared to what I imagine the pain will be like when they ramp up!)

Trying not to get too excited as there have been so many false alarm starts on this thread and with people I know IRL too!

BeautifulLiar · 03/03/2016 05:09

Me sorry but I am excited for you! I'm terrified of a false start too, but also terrified of leaving things too late again. Well I've had a shower, so if things don't progress at least I can skip one in the morning!

Thank you maybe and good luck Rhu :)

MrsBen and Missdee, seriously gorgeous little boys!! Congratulations.

I'm really hungry, need a snack but we're almost out of everything! Aaggghh

BeautifulLiar · 03/03/2016 05:10

And yeh SIL is lovely really!

Hmm, might attempt to put make up on in a minute...

Missikat · 03/03/2016 05:53

Oooh exciting!!! Good luck Me, it certainly sounds like early labour. Mine with DS1 started at the same time in a very similar way. Fx you can rest, I didn't manage to sleep anymore after that point and he wasn't born til 26 hours later. Hopefully baby Me will arrive today!

Beaut, I wonder if it is the start of labour for you too?! I'm sure you'll get the kids all sorted but def don't leave it too late to go in with your history. Is DH about at the moment?

Rhubarb, hope things hold off long enough before you get to hospital. I guess if it is labour starting then there's the advantage (if you were planning on breastfeeding) that maybe your milk would come in sooner as c sections can delay it can't they?

Well I am up at 5.45am but definitely not a member if the CSC today! DH brought Zach up to me at 1am so i'd already had about 2 hours sleep then I fed Zach, popped him back in bed at 1.30/45, I woke at 4.45 and he was still asleep! I still can't really leave him longer than 3-3.5 hours between feeds as he's still tiny so I tried to feed him but he was too sleepy. So I've had to change his nappy, he promptly weed all over his clothes through the wipe I'd placed over his wily designed to catch any. So a full change and an awake boy later he has now fed but I feel like I've had a full nights sleep! It's amazing how refreshing a stretch of over 3 hours is when you've been operating on 1 hour at a time! Hopefully I can go back to sleep.

Good luck to all you ladies!

Ooh, an exciting morning!

Good luck Me, Rhu & Beaut!

vroc81 · 03/03/2016 06:01

Wow it's all go on here, good luck Me Rhu and Beaut !!

BeautifulLiar · 03/03/2016 06:02

Yes DH is here! How are you doing Me? Like you these are quite ouchy and I'm crapping myself about them ramping up!! whether it's today or next week

Me624 · 03/03/2016 06:14

Missi that's what I'm dreading - I haven't been able to go back to sleep, there's no way I can sleep but I know that it could still be a very long time! I have put my TENS machine on now which is helping some. Contractions are consistently coming every 6-8 minutes for the last 2 hours. Every time one finishes a bit more of my waters seems to leak out, gross!

Glad you got some extra sleep tonight Missi! I'm having a boy too and everyone keeps warning me about them weeing everywhere during nappy changes!

marmiteandcheeseplease · 03/03/2016 06:26

Wow lots of action on here!! Grin exciting!

Good luck beaut, me and rhubarb hope it's quick for you all!

Nothing doing here, think I'm in for the long haul (though I'm only 38+2 so there's still time). Had crappy day yesterday for various boring evenings so was in a grump when DP came home and we ended up having a big argument over a world book day costume for DD - one of those pointless needless arguments but I'm still feeling pissed off at him tbh. He's generally quite understanding of my pregnancy but I don't think he gets it and I don't think he appreciates all the cleaning and sorting out I've been doing when on leave and generally feeling underappreciated by him. Ugh, sorry, rant over - let's get back to the exciting births on here! So who's going to drop first? me if baby is back to back you may be in for a long one but try to do lots of all fours positions to get baby me to turn!

marmiteandcheeseplease · 03/03/2016 06:27

Ugh, pregnancy brain, I'm 39+2 not 38+2 haha!

MyNameIsSuz · 03/03/2016 07:13

Good grief, I leave you alone for one night and you all go into labour!!! Good luck me, Beautiful and rhubarb!

Nothing doing here either marmite. After all the pain yesterday I have a bit of an ache on one side but nothing else. All the talk of placental abruption is scary though, I think after I saw the midwife I felt happy we'd ruled that out and now hearing other people's experiences has put doubt back in my mind. Still, I feel quite normal today so still fairly sure I'm not having one. quite glad to have another day to clean my bathroom and get to the post office with my niece's birthday present etc etc.

BeautifulLiar · 03/03/2016 07:24

We have got to the hospital!! So glad - I really didn't think we would!! Best not be a false alarm!!

IndomitabIe · 03/03/2016 07:29

Eek! I'm just about to leave for work but I'll check in again as soon as I get in! Good luck Beaut!

MyNameIsSuz · 03/03/2016 07:35

Eep, good luck!

Madmamma39 · 03/03/2016 07:43

Good luck all (not at all jealous, not one bit)

sherazade · 03/03/2016 07:49

Good luck beaut just seen you've up up since the small hours so probably any minute now Shock

IndomitabIe · 03/03/2016 08:14

No update in 45 minutes? This is not the BeautifulLiar birth I've been led to expect!

In all seriousness, hope everyone's all good. I'll be illicitly checking the thread all day today!

magpiedreams · 03/03/2016 08:22

Yep, I was just thinking beaut has prob delivered by now and will update us en route home! Wink

Thinking of you me and rhubarb.

So, how about some good literary names for your World Book Day babies???

maybebabybee · 03/03/2016 08:27

I'm soooo jealous! So done with being pregnant now. Anyone else?

RhubarbAndMustard · 03/03/2016 08:28

Well I'm in hospital now, in gown and sexy stockings, but labour ward is full so looks like I'm going to have to wait. Getting mild cramping still so looks as if things are kicking off naturally too. I hope they don't keep me waiting too long.

Eagerly awaiting beaut and me's updates.

Missikat · 03/03/2016 08:36

Hope you don't have to wait too long Rhubarb.

Am eagerly awaiting news of Beautiful's sure to be imminent arrival!

Me, hope you're coping ok. The tens did wonders for me and if nothing else gives you something to focus on.

Hopefully three babies to arrive today!

CharleytheFrenchPoodle · 03/03/2016 08:53

Ooooh 3 labours! How exciting! I'll be checking all day for news now. Good luck Beautiful, Me and Rhubarb- not jealous in the slightest, honest Grin

docmcstuffins1 · 03/03/2016 09:00

Wow, what a busy night, I'm soooo jealous!

Good luck rhubarb, Me and Beaut.

I'm 39+6 (same as Me), but no signs yet. Got a MW appt tomorrow but they don't do sweeps here until 41 weeks so looks like I'm in for the long haul. Getting so impatient now COME ON BABY!!!!!!!

maybebabybee · 03/03/2016 09:03

Has anyone apart from beaut tried a DIY cervix feel? I can't find mine which I'm guessing means it's still high - very annoying!

CharleytheFrenchPoodle · 03/03/2016 09:08

I've never tried it maybe- I wouldn't have a clue what I was feeling for not that I can probably bend that far now anyway BlushGrin
