Hi ladies, thanks Indom for the suggestion of me starting a new thread. Seeing as Zach and myself have been knocking about on antenatal since November it will be lovely to have you all joining us shortly in the baby, rather than pregnancy conversations! Bring on the March babies!!!!

Morning Sher, sorry you're struggling. Thanks

Congratulations and wow! Missdee! 57 mins!

CSC here. Suddenly felt rubbish last night. Went to bed, woke up 3 times before midnight with the runs (sorry) and then with hip cramp several times this morning. I felt great (for most of) yesterday. Not so much today!

MyNameIsSuz · 02/03/2016 06:21

Congratulations missdee!

Csc here too, too achey and stomach crampy to sleep properly. Will try to get a decent nap in today!

RhubarbAndMustard · 02/03/2016 06:40

Congratulations Missdee! Wonderful news to wake up to.

Good luck MrsB. Looking forward to reading your updates.

No CSC for me - hooray! Sorry for those that did but I really needed that sleep. Bound to be in it tonight worrying about tomorrow. Hope everyone with cramps pains means things are kicking off for you.

Missdee2014 · 02/03/2016 06:44

Thanks everyone!

Good luck for today MrsB! I hope all goes well for you.

BeautifulLiar · 02/03/2016 06:45

Congrats misdee, that's a fab weight for a not yet full term baby!

Good luck today mrsben. The fasting sounds hard! Not long now.

Suz and sher, I hope the cramps let up and you get some sleep soon.

indom you unlock the car remotely with the key, then press a button on the boot and it should open. DH messed around with it last night and said it's working now, but it's so unpredictable, I'm terrified I'm going to be stranded with baby and pram!

I woke up in a really good mood today thinking hopefully this time next week I'll have my baby in my arms!

MrsBenWyatt · 02/03/2016 06:58

At hospital! Moved from third on list to first, so shouldn't be hungry for too long! Grin

MyNameIsSuz · 02/03/2016 07:01

Oh god, since getting up I'm in so much pain I can barely move and can't get a deep breath in. I don't think it's labour though, it's a constant pain in my stomach, all the way from my chest to my hips. Not sure what to do! I think maybe a bath once dh and ds have gone.

MyNameIsSuz · 02/03/2016 07:02

Ooh exciting MrsB, hope it goes well!

marmiteandcheeseplease · 02/03/2016 07:24

Congrats missdee! Grin

Good luck mrsben this morning!

Had the best nights sleep in ages as I was so knackered last night I crashed out at half 9 and slept till 6.45 when DD woke up. I just felt so tired yesterday I think my body needed to collapse!

Baby very active this morning, she still seems to have a lot of room in there so not expecting an appearance from DD2 for a while yet!

Missdee2014 · 02/03/2016 07:30

That's what I thought too Beaut! Especially a baby that has static growth and it's now evident my placenta was gritty so not doing quite the job it should've been doing. We were told to expect 5lb odds. He's 1/2 oz heavier then my first born!

maybebabybee · 02/03/2016 07:43

Congrats Missdee lovely news!!

Good luck MrsBen

Got my 38 week appt today at GP even though I'm 39+1. Got a midwife appt next week so seems a bit pointless going to this one really.

magpiedreams · 02/03/2016 07:49

Congrats missdee! Well done you!

Good luck mrsben, stroke of luck being moved up the list, you'll be done in time for lunch.

suz you ok? Give them a ring if that pain doesn't go away won't you?

indom, hope you're ok, do you think you're going to last another 3 weeks without having this baby...?!?!

vroc81 · 02/03/2016 08:04

congratulations Missdee

Good luck MrsBen

Hope everyone else has a good day too! suz make sure you get checked out if the pain doesn't go away.

Me624 · 02/03/2016 08:07

Congratulations missdee! What a lovely fast labour once it finally got going!

Good luck MrsBen! The thread is definitely hotting up now with all these babies. Hope I can join you before too long.

I was sadly in CSC last night, I woke about 2am needing the loo and then could not get back to sleep because the baby would not stop kicking! He is normally pretty quiet at night, I get a few nudges when I wake up to reassure me that he's there and then we both go back to sleep, but no, last night he decided to have a party, I must have been up for a good hour.

vroc81 · 02/03/2016 08:11

Me I was there too, I seem to do a night in csc a night out... And she's always very quiet at night hoping this is a good sign but I end up waiting for a kick before I go back to sleep..

Meant to ask now we're a few babies up, anyone got any things they couldn't do without when they got to hospital? Ir really didn't need to take? I've still time to add things to what seems like an emptyish bag?

BumpPower · 02/03/2016 08:43

I brought a thermal mug with me last time and it was brilliant vroc

I marched up and down the stairs on the sea walls yesterday and dtd but no change at all. So now it's operation don't have a baby while I'm staying at my parents until Saturday!

Congratulations missd

Trinpy · 02/03/2016 08:50

Congratulations missdee!

Good luck for today MrsBen. Glad you won't have to wait around too long.

Crispylicious · 02/03/2016 09:13

Congrats miss! That's fab news, and wowzers, an hour! Also a good weight.

Good luck mrsben! Hope you enjoyed your last meal.

I was defo in CSC last night. Every time I turned over I woke up, I'm just so bloody uncomfortable at the mo. I also appear to be horribly constipated, so all bloated etc. urgh. DD is at the childminders today though, so I can at least rest. I'm actually feeling slightly guilty about still sending her 3 days a week, but she had a crap day with me yesterday as I couldn't be bothered to leave the house!

vroc last time I took hair straighteners, dryer etc, which I didn't even get out of the bag, despite being in hospital for 4 nights! However I've not learnt and will be taking them again on the off chance I might get a moment to use them this time!

docmcstuffins1 · 02/03/2016 09:25

Congratulations Missdee, 57 mins, that's seriously impressive. Looking forward to seeing a pic of your cutie pie!

Suz definitely get yourself checked out if the pain doesn't go, hope it settles for you.x

I was in CSC last night too but nothing pregnancy related, DH has got a cold and was snoring a lot which kept me awake every time I needed to get up for a wee, I can't complain though as he's had to wear earplugs for the last 4 months as pregnancy has turned me into a snorer too.

docmcstuffins1 · 02/03/2016 09:26

Forgot to say good luck MrsBen!

Paperblank · 02/03/2016 09:36

Missdee Congratulations Flowers hope you're having lots of snuggles xxx

MrsB best of luck today. Will be cheering you on from afar!

Xx

dobbythedoggy · 02/03/2016 10:23

missdee congratulations.

Baby will be in your arms before you know it mrsben. Hope it's not too long for you to wait to be fed post section and that you feel like eatting too.

indom I'm wondering if you'll be like the teacher I used to know in your area who ran my birthing classes. She worked right up to her due date each time and went into labour without fail while teaching a class and almost had her last baby (number 5) in the school. I think everyone was relieved her dh got her home in time for midwife to deliver the baby for her planned home birth.

Feeling a bit wiped out today but didn't join csc last night and will be heading back to bed soon. 40 weeks today but think bump will be holding on for a bit longer yet and now that I'm comfortable enough to rest would like to give uti a chance to clear!

Missikat · 02/03/2016 11:32

I second Vroc, Suz, if the pain continues I'd get yourself checked out.

Sorry to those of you feeling rubbish, you're all so near the end now.

Vroc, I think we were due date buddies...is yours on Monday the 7th march? Hope baby arrives soon!

I'm having a get together tomorrow with my close mum friends who all have toddlers and new babies too, to celebrate Zach's due date (well a few days early). It's mad that he is three months old already.

I hope those if you who's babies have arrived already are managing to get some sleep. It's fairly hard to come by in our house at the mo! Zach teases me with the odd occasional night where he sleeps for 2.5-3 hour long stretches at night (which he typically does all day long) which feels bloody amazing...but then he reverts to waking every 45 mins to an hour...zzzzzzzzz!!!

Thanks ladies - still hurts but not nearly as much, I might call the midwives just to see what they say. I wondered if it could be the baby turning as it was back to back? Or I've split my stomach muscles turning over in the night Sad

CharleytheFrenchPoodle · 02/03/2016 12:13

Congratulations missdee and good luck to mrsben- hopefully you'll be holding your baby soon if you aren't already!
That sounds really painful suz, I'd definitely be ringing the midwife to get checked Flowers.
Had my 38 week appointment this morning, and the baby seems to be measuring small, so she's sending me for a growth scan. However, what she thinks has actually happened is that the baby is so well engaged she can't get a proper measurement anymore, which is why it suddenly seems smaller, so she's not worried, but has to send me in case all the same. She said the baby can't go any further without contractions starting, so we're just waiting for the baby to make a move now!
