The old thread was getting dangerously close to 1000 messages, so thought I'd better start this one.

I didn't beasty. It was funny though.

WLmum · 20/08/2015 22:00

My money was on you! I think it went quite well but who knows. Celebrating the end of this weeks interviews with a beer and chips! Xx

NannyOggsHedgehogs · 20/08/2015 22:28

Sounds perfect

Boys have just got in from surprising mil on her birthday, and we're off camping in the morning... I really ought to pack

WLmum · 20/08/2015 23:08

Hope you get passable weather nanny

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2015 07:00

I'm back! WL will you hear today? We're off to a big country park today with a dinosaur playground.

WLmum · 21/08/2015 10:35

I got it!!! Catch is they want me to work full time for a few months before dropping to 4 days. Thrilled and scared!

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2015 13:33

Eek! Are you going to take it?

Barbeasty · 21/08/2015 14:55

Well done WL. Is this the original job?

Full time is doable, especially if you know you can drop back down afterwards.

WLmum · 21/08/2015 16:45

Thanks beasty I have now got them to agree to 4 days from the start ????. Yes this is the original job, but I think the Skype in my pjs job might offer me - but I won't know for sure for a couple of weeks as the UK bod I'd need to meet is away on hols, by which time I will have needed to give a definite decision to job A.
I'm thrilled obviously but my head is spinning!

Barbeasty · 21/08/2015 20:32

Well, given how disappointed you were when they couldn't give you the answer straight away I think you should go for it.

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2015 20:33

Amazing, what have you got to lose?! You only live once! What's the worst that could happen? Etc etc Wink go for it WL Smile

SpottyTeacakes · 21/08/2015 21:05

Ds has just been sick all in his bed! We have a birthday party to go to tomorrow Confused

WLmum · 21/08/2015 22:04

Poor ds spotty
I spent all day shopping for our holiday with all 3 dds in tow, and took umpteen calls re jobs! It was nuts!

beasty my head is spinning because I have 2 (almost) job offers - pro's and cons for both but won't get properly offered 2nd one (if get offered) for another couple of weeks as next man to sign off is on hols, and I can't keep job A hanging on that long.

WLmum · 21/08/2015 22:05

spotty T has been needing a poo all day but it hasn't come - she just got out of bed and did it on the floor behind her door (trying to get out I guess) so when DH opened the door it got well and truly smooshed across the carpet!

SpottyTeacakes · 22/08/2015 06:27

Oh no! That does not sound fun....haven't heard from ds since he was first sick he's still asleep. Dd otoh is up crying her throat hurts, she can't breathe out of her nose and has that awful asthma cough. It's strange because it's really warm and this doesn't usually happen until the weather turns.

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 22/08/2015 08:28

Oh god Spotty and WL. They both sound hideous to deal with. Happy cleaning. Hope DD is okay Spotty.

Well done WL, glad you got it. Even if it's now left you with a dilemma.

DS has managed to put his shorts on so both legs are in one hole and his willy is hanging out. Not his best look TBH.

SpottyTeacakes · 22/08/2015 08:53

Grin WillYou J sounds like such a character

It's meant to be 27 today so I'm wearing shorts Shock have one leg bigger than the other and it's getting more noticeable 3cm difference in circumference on my calf Angry

WLmum · 22/08/2015 11:55

Haha frazzled!
spotty why the difference? We all have odd bits on our bodies, try not to let it bother you.

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 22/08/2015 15:26

Oh he's a character alright Hmm Grin

Today he's mostly vomiting up the phlegm off his chest. He's had a chest infection for 2.5 weeks. It's wearing thin TBH!

Is it diabetes-related spotty?

Barbeasty · 22/08/2015 15:54

Hope everyone's homes are clean again!

Spotty my chest feels tight today, so maybe there is something in the weather.

A's swimming teacher is a young, pretty blonde called Robyn. DH and DD came to watch for the first time today. When he asked afterwards what A's favourite bit was he said "Robyn". When asked what Robyn was, just to make sure, he said "the teacher". He does have a thing for young, pretty blondes.

And he was the epitome of a middle class toddler this morning- buying olives at the farmers market then singing a loud rendition of Frere Jaques on my back in the sling as we went back to the car.

OP posts:
WLmum · 22/08/2015 16:18

Ah we're a delectable bunch beasty and all slim, blonde and beautiful

SpottyTeacakes · 22/08/2015 19:19

No it's muscular. I'm weaker on my right side.

We had a nice day at a birthday party then back to my friends for dinner. Dc just put to bed both at the same time lets see if they sleep...! Ds getting good at weeing standing up.

MrsNutella · 22/08/2015 19:32

Evening all!

WL I am really sorry but I did chuckle at the poo being smooshed Blush they don't do much fitted carpet in Germany so that's one thing I can tick off of potty training issues.

beasty both of the carers (what do you call the staff at nursery, my brain has gone blank!) at nursery in DS' group have long dark hair and he loves them both very much. They get lots of cuddles and the occasional kiss he is already a terrible ladies man I love the story about the market.

spotty I hope DS and DD are better this evening.

Potty training is happening on a part time basis here. Generally after nap time until bedtime is big boy pants time. No more wee on the floor, I'm still asking him to use the potty; but this evening he asked for his potty. I was so so so impressed! He did a big wee and he was really pleased. His pants were a little wet - Papa was in the bathroom where the potty was so that DD doesn't try and play with it Confused

He is having an op on Monday so I'm not sure how he will go on the rest of the week... He is having his adenoids done and possibly a grommet in one ear. I laughed at the hospital appointment when they asked about his hearing "does he respond when you ask him to do something"
Errrr he is a toddler...

WLmum · 22/08/2015 21:17

nutell bless him and you - I hope all goes well. T also has a good line in selective hearing.

WLmum · 22/08/2015 21:18

Glad you had a nice time spotty.
