The old thread was getting dangerously close to 1000 messages, so thought I'd better start this one.

Cinderella had hidden the teddy onesie in a scalelectrix box in the back of the wardrobe. H is not happy it has been found as 'i'm not a baby mum'.Hmm

Nutella good luck with your Dh i know how hard it is to fight for your own feelings when you know its going to hurt others.

H has been a nightmare today and i am completely out of patience now with her.

NannyOggsHedgehogs · 10/11/2015 21:28

R was like that yesterday, he's been brewing a cold

MrsNutella · 11/11/2015 08:10

Well tomorrow DH has a "chat" with a team leader (I think this translates as a "team manager" in real English - the Germans use some strange phrases that aren't real English and I end up confused as to what is real and what isn't Confused) for a job that is essentially the same as what he does now.

Same company. Hopefully more money. He will need training because it is for the "key account customers" (basically the more lucrative customers) but we could stay where we are. He would plan to do this next job for three years at least.

The team is based out of Hamburg..... Soooo there might be an option to move a bit further north. Hamburg is a funky city, a bit hard - like London can be- but much more interesting than where we are now.

Sorry, this has become a bit long Grin

Hales poor H she really doesn't want to wear that onesie does she? I came across a thing about respectful parenting recently - basically about talking to your kids and finding out what they want. Can you have a chat with her and tell her how proud you would be if she does wear it?

Brew and Cake for everyone!!

Oh, and the DC were knackered yesterday - they were both in bed asleep by 18:30!Shock

NannyOggsHedgehogs · 11/11/2015 09:13

I'm bloody knackered today, was up at 9, 11, 11:45, 12:30, 2:30, 4:30, 5:30 and 6. I'd forgotten. How?

WLmum · 11/11/2015 18:34

Ouch nanny. It took me 3 times to finally get it! Hope this phase is over quickly.
I haven't bfed T for weeks but she still asks me every day, poor baby.
nutella don't apologise, we don't mind! I'd push for the move to Hamburg if I were you. How far is that from the pil?
I'm on an epic train journey home - I normally drive but dh needed the car today so I got the bus from work to the station, am on my second train and have 2 more to go. 2 hour journey. Rubbish. No Pilates class for me - to be replaced by take out pizza Grin

SpottyTeacakes · 11/11/2015 18:41

Where's your new job WL?! That sounds like such an effort!

Pidj I think it's really easy to forget the horrors of the early days simply because they're just soooooo cute and totally worth it!

Dd had parents evening last night and he teacher said she's a complete bundle of loveliness Grin

Dh has annoyed me a bit as I've asked him to take ds to pre school on a Tuesday morning from Jan. I work tues and fri and on those days dh takes dd to the bus for 8:20 then goes on to work. Ds currently goes to ps on a weds morning but I would like him to go more but not on days I'm not working as it seems so pointless. Anyway he would have to take ds in for 8:30 and he doesn't want to. Humph.

MrsNutella · 11/11/2015 20:21

nanny if we didn't forget and other people managed to make us understand how hard they are I think we would die out pretty quick as a race!

WL hope you're home soon! That journey sounds mad!
I'll wait and see what comes of the chat, and then we need to see what it's really like and what it involves if DH gets the job.

spotty why won't he take DS? DH would love to be able to take DS and DD regularly to nursery /kindergarten.

SpottyTeacakes · 11/11/2015 20:30

Because he is supposed to start work at 8 and therefore has to make the time up from those two mornings a week

WLmum · 11/11/2015 20:55

spotty I normally drive and it takes about 40 minutes but today was a one off as dh needed to car to take the dds to the dentist.
Tell your dh to step up to the parenting plate. You have made huge work changes to accommodate the dc you both had - he needs to do his bit.
Glad your parents eve went well, we've had ours this week which were a bit rubbish - dd2s teacher said she should be working on with expression - she's 5 ffs!

WLmum · 11/11/2015 21:19

When I got home tonight T looked at her wrist and said 'my watch says it is boobie oclock'! Unfortunately my watch disagreed.

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 12/11/2015 00:16

Hahaha WL God loves a trier!

J is in his bed for the first time since April. Let's see how long it lasts Confused

halestone · 12/11/2015 15:17

WL Grin boobie o'clock sounds genius.

Nutella i have my fx that you get to move.

Frazzled how did it go last night?

Spotty, i hope you have sorted things with DH. It always amazes me people think they're jobs are more important than others.

Nanny i hope your ok and are managing to catch up on your sleep. Flowers

MrsNutella · 13/11/2015 09:37

hales you make a really good point about the "whose work is most important". I used to have a fight about it with an ex all the time. And we did pretty much the same bloody job! But he was a giant wanker, so maybe that explains it Wink

DH sadly isn't likely to get the job. The boss wants someone who needs no training whatsoever. Which I think is unlikely to happen... I'm going to keep a little bit of optimism that we hear something about a new job for DH soon.

I'm at the hairdressers, all by myself. It is great!! Grin

WLmum · 13/11/2015 12:52

Dm just came round to ask me how I feel about donating her body to medical science. Sometimes life sucks.

MrsNutella · 13/11/2015 14:55

WL I'm so sorry. Has her prognosis/illness worsened?

I can't imagine how you feel. Thanks

WLmum · 13/11/2015 16:26

Thanks nutella. No it hasn't and fx she's really well atm but we went to a funeral about 6 weeks ago which obviously was awful for several reasons and has been playing on her mind.

WLmum · 13/11/2015 22:43

Place your bets now - the cheque book I had earlier and now can't find - is it in the washing machine or not?! Will find out in 20 minutes!

MrsNutella · 14/11/2015 13:43

Hmmm did you or someone else load the washing machine? any missing things are almost always blamed on DH who then blames the DC

WLmum · 14/11/2015 18:50

It was me that loaded the machine but thankfully I found the cheque book in a pile of dds homework!

SpottyTeacakes · 14/11/2015 19:07

WL I'm sorry for what you and your family are going through. It must be very hard to hear your mum talking about things like that Thanks

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 14/11/2015 19:58

I'm sorry WL but it's good she feels comfortable enough to let you know her wishes now and you can be sure you'll get what she wanted.

J has now done 2 nights in his bed! Wahoo!

I'm on my way to a date. Feel sick as a dog with nerves. Wish me luck!

Barbeasty · 14/11/2015 20:11

Good luck Frazzled. Hope it's better than the last one!

WLmum · 14/11/2015 20:35

Post updates whenever you can frazzled!
