"It's only this once," "I work hard for you two and I drive hours to go to work and work hard,". I fucking offered to move closer to his job but he said no! He reckons he knows how hard it is not having a minute to myself all day, but having her for an hour (until she needs another feed) at weekends does not fucking count!! I haven't eaten tonight because I couldn't because H was fussing and now she's asleep it's too late and I can't be arsed. He can sod off when he gets back, he's got no fucking idea.

Guess I've got something to make me punch hard at my class tomorrow huh.

cookielove · 20/08/2015 20:44

I am so sorry to hear that so many of you are having a tough time :(

Was at work today and for love nor money could not log back on so I seem to have missed everyone!

E is also really poorly :(

ZylaB · 20/08/2015 20:48

Aww poor E cookie :(

RPopz · 20/08/2015 20:59

Wait just a cotton picking minute there Fleur ..... I am pretty fucking certain it says in No Baby Book Ever "go down pub after work and leave Mum with baby all day" ..... Double standards much!? How does he think you're managing with the baby when you clearly need him to dictate your every move for you when he's home? Not so bothered about enforcing his parenting law this evening then? What a twunt.

RPopz · 20/08/2015 21:00

EURGH. MEN Angry Angry Angry

Sorry E's not well cookie Sad How's work going? x

LaLaLaaaa · 20/08/2015 21:10

Poor viroids and poor babies! Everyone sounds like they are having a horrendous time. Pixie ADs made me feel like shit at first but then lovely and floaty.

Fleur - I think you're very sensible to go for your private paediatrician option as well if you possibly can. My HV was rather scathing about GPs over prescribing stuff like gaviscon to infants because they don't know enough about their conditions to investigate far enough

On that note - having been so pleased this morning with a good night I've had an awful afternoon. He's hot, angry and sore. Even he tries to sleep you can see hi dropping off, then his legs come up to his stomach with pain and he wakes up again. He's been mostly awake apart from a couple of tiny naps since 3 and I'm exhausted from dancing up and down the house rocking him when large babies are no fun!

Poo is coming out but with lots of groaning and effort and is explosive and rather runny. I think it looks normal although perhaps slightly liquidy but it's obviously quite sore when it's on it's way out. Very difficult to watch and also hate the screaming. Nearly put him down and walked out the house. He was purple.

I think we might have to make a doctors appointment too.

Otherwise it was a nice day til then - sling success then a meet in park with nct group.

Min - don't blame you for sitting outside the house!

Don't blame any of you for your frustration with your dps! What are they playing at? Mine tries hard to be helpful and is lovely, but still I do have to say to him regularly that I've done all the night feeds plus day so can he please take his son for five minutes so I can rest!

Cookie - what's wrong with E?

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 20/08/2015 21:15

Zyla - try to eat something even if it's a banana.

Dh makes me my dinner but every day serves it at 7 which is when B wakes up for feed. So every day I eat cold dinner at 8 or later depending on how long it takes to get him fed bathed and sleeping

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 20/08/2015 21:16

Fleur stay in bed!

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 20/08/2015 21:38

PS I'm aware that sounded like stealth boast about dh making me dinner. Apologies! It was meant to sound like solidarity but he's not being half as much of a wanker as some of our other halves so it was a rubbish point to make!

OP posts:
WilHarlot · 20/08/2015 21:56

Not rubbish La. Nice to celebrate helpful men aswell as moan about less helpful ones! Get him to cut up your dinner and eat it whilst feeding.

Does sound like something is amiss with explosive poos.

What's wrong with E Cookie?

Pisghetti · 20/08/2015 22:00

You need one handed food La - quorn nuggets and smiley faces etc.

Err I'm a dick. It's only Thursday - I'm not going out tomorrow at all! Glad I didn't get overexcited and shave my legs.

LaLaLaaaa · 20/08/2015 22:05

Love smiley faces

I wonder if I'm not winding him enough. He seems to be v windy baby - apparently my fast flow could be causing it

OP posts:
RPopz · 20/08/2015 22:25

It's hard though isn't it. Sometimes they just won't bloody well burp! Smile

Didn't sound stealthboasty La! Mr P cooks a lot more since mini was born to be fair. But mini has some kind of meal time fussing radar. I don't think I've eaten a hot dinner in 7 whole months.

Just googled hating the husband. Apparently its totally normal or I have PND.... Hmm

Gutted Pis! I'm going on a hen do next weekend Shock

RPopz · 20/08/2015 22:26

BISCUITS are my one handed foodstuff of choice. which is why I'm a such a fat bastard probs

LaLaLaaaa · 20/08/2015 22:55

I think B has diarrhoea. Do u mind if I post a pic? Warning in advance

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 20/08/2015 23:03

It's not letting me post pic anyway so never mind

OP posts:
ZylaB · 21/08/2015 05:44

Take him to the docs la, at least if you've taken a pic you can show them?

Fleurchamp · 21/08/2015 05:58

I have many a poo pic in my photo stream, post away la

popz I am not really feeding to schedule but he roughly feeds every 3 hours - the problem I am finding with all the screaming is that i can't tell his feeding cues. So, I just know that after about 2.5/ 3hrs he is probably hungry.
Poor little chap fell asleep exhausted at 8.30pm last night and woke for a feed at 2am!!! Grin

My DH was home half an hour late last night - a very swift pint - he must have felt bad! He did also cook dinner so I shouldn't complain.

Off to the cranial osteopath this afternoon, keeping my fingers crossed!

LaLaLaaaa · 21/08/2015 06:15

I can't post on app. It's now more yellow with green specks which seems bit better, yesterday it had a green ish hue.

Bless him Fleur at least you got a bit of a break! I'm the same with the cues. I'll feed on cue but if he then doesn't go to sleep right away I can end up in this long cycle of 'is that a tired cue or hungry cue?' As a result he probably gets fed when he's actually tired which makes it worse. Yesterday it went from 3 to 8pm and I was shattered and he was exhausted. Have had ok night he went from 9:30 to 2 then 3 to 5:30. But I put him down and instantly the legs go up and the long process of him fighting himself to go to sleep starts.

Thing is right now he's fast asleep face down on my stomach - no fuss and no leg pulling up. But as soon as I put him in crib on his back he'll start pulling legs up as if in pain. So confused!

:(

The husband said at stupid o'clock this morning that R is turning us into celibate insomniacs.
He may be right.
Don't tell him I said that.

LaLaLaaaa · 21/08/2015 06:31

:) min I guess at least you can sort of laugh about it - sort of...

OP posts:
LaLaLaaaa · 21/08/2015 07:10

I've put him back in crib - he was fine face down on my tummy but now he's whimpering, straining and crying on his back in pain and every now and then a wet fart noise comes from his bum
