prettymum - i know it would be nice for you.

I passed my test 2and a half years ago and had a car. I'm not lucky enough to have a partner who can support me or anyone who can.

My mum wont even let me drive her shitty litle 1litre ford fiesta thats older than me.

Bloss-I'm trying to get milk down her but she seems uninterested once she has eaten.

KZ-think you are right. Tonight she was screaming for food but when I offered it she screamed more so it was probably milk she wanted, therefore, most of it was spat out. Was late with tea as I had to go to the vets again. I think tomorrow I will give milk first then food. I have kept her up until a few mins ago and kept attaching her to my boob. Refluxed most of it up though.

Will report progress tomorrow.

kosh-hun, why have you still got that %%$£"$&*()(%$£"£ living in your house? New Year, new start perhaps? Buses where I live only run if there is a full moon, or the world is going to freeze over or some other strange excuse of a timetable.

Anyway, off to bed as DH keeps calling me mardy bum! How many hours sleep tonight Hugs to those having similar sleep patterns.

Koshka - sounds like you're having a really tough time of it. {{{{hugs}}}} And I can't believe how rude people can be! Like to see them try to manage. I'm very lucky as I do have access to a car and am close enough to walk to town if needs be.

Great piccies everyone - KZ, hasn't Roshi got lovely eyes!

Well Aidan is 4 months today so I thought I'd post a couple of pics (not ones taken today though as I've only just thought that would have been a nice thing to do on his monthly birthdays).

Sorry, thanks for pointing this out PRETTYMUM!! Time for bed methinks

xmasstocking · 29/11/2006 07:47

Morning ladies

I can see all the photos (including yours Twinkle) - all 3 babies are gorgeous! KZ - Roshi looks very comfortable and cosy in her reindeer suit doesn't she?

Kosh - can't believe how rude and uncaring some people can be - fancy no=one wanting to hold Jake and preferring you put him on the floor of some grotty old bus . I think the Internet shopping that someone else mentioned might be a good idea for you. Don't worry about your messages - we are all here for you to get things off your chest.

Hi Mojo, yes I would really like to buy it I was going to buy it anyway. If you email me stuwott at aol dot com with how much you want for it and your address and I'll send you a cheque (or do you have paypal?)

Frosty- {{{hugs}}} I'm so with you on the tired frontand you have 2 girlies to look after- I take my hat off to you. Love the pics

Sleep- I think I will look for that book it sunds helpful. How are you doing? x

Pretty- love the pics- he is soooo handsome

Koshka- {{{hugs}}} for you. I travel by bus too, I have to use the uni-link service because they are guaranteed low floor ones! The looks I get from the students are really quite funny. They range from "why are you bringing that baby on a student bus?" to "you poor thing stuck with a baby" I want to shout at them!

KZ- love the pics Definitely one to show when he is older!

Twinkle- V cute pics

Spoke to a different HV at clinic yesterday and she was a bit baffled as to why Zack wakes so often during the night. The only thing she could suggest was to up my calorie intake therefore upping the fat content of my milk
I'm going to try this but I'm a bit gutted as I have just managed to get into a size 12
She said she would phone a colleague to ask their advice and contact me at home.
Seeing as he is feeding every 2-3 hours around the clock he is also not gaining weight brilliantly either. He was 13lb 4ozs yesterday. She did add that although he is petite he looks very healthy and alert.
Having said all that for the first time in ages he went to bed at 8.45 and only woke at 12 and 3 and then got up at 6. So that is an improvement.

Better be off have so much to do and I know before even starting I won't get it all done. Of course I had to come on here and catch up with you girls first ha ha ha ha!!

usandourlittlexmascracker · 29/11/2006 09:03

Forgot to add Zack is 19 weeks.

FrostytheSnowman · 29/11/2006 09:57

Morning all

Sophie is actually 5 months Prettymum and was 12lb 8oz last week.

Twinkle-gorg pics. I took one every month of DD1 until 1 year old then once a year on her birthday so I could see the change. Obviously take ones in between as well. Anyway, am doing the same with Sophie so I can compare them with DD1.

Sophie didn't wake until 4-45am-hurrah!!!!!

Interesting about the calorie intake as the night waking does also tie in with my cutting down effort plus with my sickness bug last week I didn't eat for a few days.

kosh-you make sure you keep posting on here and it doesn't matter what you want to say, please say it whatever it may be. How is your job going?

Right, have a good day girls.

IamBlossom · 29/11/2006 10:24

morning.

have reaised that Toby never has had a chance to roll over even if he wanted to, as I never put him on the floor! Am alwasy worried his great elephant of a brother will trample him so I always put him in his bouncy chair or occasionally on his playgym with the hanging toys but he is unlikely to move to the side on that. So while DS1 is at nursery I have put him on the floor on a blanket with his toys to the side of him and he is loving it! God you'd think having had one baby already I'd know this stuff! Wish wish wish I'd written down DS1's events, like when he rolled, when he slept through, etc.

Didn't give Toby his dream feed and he woke at 1am and 4am. There is an argument for not giving the dream feed so he wakes for milk at 1am, and then if he doesn't wake at 4am I have more chance of getting back to sleep...not sure what to do really....Also we seem to have no routine at all in feeding during the day at the moment I don't know where I am with it. Sometimes he's every two hours, sometimes 2.5, sometimes 3 if we go out and he sleeps.....sometimes he necks 8 ounces, sometimes takes 4 ounces (first feed of the day is hard work)...my sister has such a strict routine with her LO I feel totally arbitrary in comparison! I do try to make it every 3 hours and time that from the first one of the day. is that what you do? Still on SMA white...

kbaby · 29/11/2006 10:38

Had an argument with dh last night because I didn?t ask him how he was feeling, I replied that as hed stayed in work all day he was obv fine. He then got me to check his temp every hr to see if it was still high. If hes so bloody ill then why doesn?t he go to boots and get some cold remedies ghhh?ive got enough to do without making him feel better.
Dd seems to be full up with a cold now and spent the night in bed with me, so I didn?t get hardly any sleep as she was too restless. I just hope I don?t get it now as I know dh wont be giving me any sympathy.

Lovely pics everyone

Usandourlittlexmascracker- zack sounds like ds with the feeding etc our night was 8,1,5,8am and again now at 10.30! he weighs 12lbs 12 I do think tour hv is talking rubbish though, how do 3rd world mums manage!

Frosty- ive been taking pics of ds in the same poses as dd when she was little to compare them, im glad im not the only one

prettymum · 29/11/2006 10:42

frosty- so sorry, got sophies and twinkles aidens
ages confused!! it was late and i was ver tired!!

twinkle- i think its just my pc playing up, im the only who cant seem to see some photos for some reason

had a terrible night last night, it wasnt my junior, it my she devil of a dd!! she woke up around 2.30 and kept crying and wouldnt let us go to bed. i told dp to ignore her crying but he keeps insists on giving her more milk which wont quieten her down and talking to her!! its so frustrating, i do control crying when she decides to behave like this but he does the whole attention thing so i end up being angry with him!! shes been doing this the last few nights and we are soo0 tired!! shes an angel during the daytime!!

well better go and tidy and drag myself out of this house and dd is in bed room with junior so better check on them!!

xmasstocking · 29/11/2006 10:50

Bloss - I do try and keep JOsh on a routine for his feeding but not for sleeping/naps etc - I feed him every 4 hours (ideally) so the plan is a feed at 7am, 11am, 3pm, 7pm - but I refuse to be up and ready for a feed at 7 which would usually involve waking Josh up (which I don't personally agree with plus I like the lie-ins !) so sometimes his first feed can be as late as 8 in which case I feed him every 3 hours and 45 minutes (or whatever) to try and get his last feed back to 7 - hope this makes sense as I confuse my DH all the time when telling him what time to feed Josh if I am out . Seems to work - as I said with his naps, I let him sleep whenever (and usually wherever) he wants to.

BTW I give him 9oz bottles but he doesn't always finish them.
