Good luck wineandchoccy!

Wineandchoccy · 28/06/2016 17:38

It was ok I did it I was shaking and my mouth was very dry and it was bloody scary looking at everyone but I felt fantastic once I had done it 😀

cinnamongreyhound · 28/06/2016 21:05

Yay fabulous! Well done!

cinnamongreyhound · 29/06/2016 14:02

This is me stamping my feet and having a strop at this weather! Seriously, how much more is up there?!?

Wineandchoccy · 29/06/2016 19:31

I agree I was soaked today and to make matters worse I had bought a gingerbread man from a bakery but he went all soggy and stuck to the paper bag Angry

How are you cinnamon apart from wet?

TinyTear · 30/06/2016 11:57

ahrgh, booking taxi to the airport and no one has car seats... managed to find one company and now i'm worrying they won't be good

cinnamongreyhound · 01/07/2016 16:22

No experience TinyTear, I'm afraid. Hoping it works out well for you!

I'm ok wineandchoccy, ds3 has a cold so isn't sleeping great but he's taking steps all the time (while barefoot anyway) which is very exciting. Dh has annoyed me this week but I'm trying to be understanding as so many hints have come out of our counselling that have changing him lots and the counsellor says it's a period of change we need to get used to. This week I've kind of felt like it was an excuse to get away with being an arse and he'd drunk too much which didn't help. Things generally are going well and We are actually having a day out together next week. Very busy at school the next few weeks which is fun but tiring and all the toddler groups are having trips and parties! Dss is 15 next weekend.

TinyTear · 03/07/2016 21:05

Wow 15, time flies

cinnamongreyhound · 05/07/2016 13:03

Dss's report is terrible! His mum isn't happy so perhaps things will become a little easier if we're not the only ones actually trying to get him do things he doesn't want to!!!

Ds3 is walking, 4-5steps at a time. He's done 10 total in one go but he really doesn't want to. We have to give him loads of encouragement to take steps otherwise he stands himself up then whinges for my hand Sad

PenguinPoser · 05/07/2016 22:13

Aw he will get there cinnamon! DD was like that for ages before she got the hang of it now she's away walking. We were away in the lakes last week which was ok but DD was poorly all week and was so unhappy the whole time it was heartbreaking.

Has your DH drinking been addressed at all in the counselling cinnamon? I do think it's a recurring theme.

I was back at work today after 11 days off thankfully it wasn't too busy but tomorrow will be.

He hasn't mentioned it at all and I'm not sure it's my place to. It does seem to be his coping not strategy whenever things get tough!

Sorry dd was poorly, that's rubbish when you have a week off Sad

cinnamongreyhound · 11/07/2016 11:03

Ok my baby really needs to sleep! He's been awake for an hour straight every night for over a week now! You can put him down but have to be touching him, all of a sudden after about an hour he just sleeps and then is fine. I'm totally shattered and then ds2 was up last night too to add to it. I thought to start with it was his cold but he's not really bunged up now just snotty, I can see any teeth, wondering if it's just too busy in his brain wih him learning to walk!

PenguinPoser · 15/07/2016 15:41

Hope the last few nights have been better for you cinnamon? We had a nightmare of nights when DD was unwell but touch wood she's sleeping better again now. Hopefully she will tonight as we have friends staying over. How are things cinnamon? All ok here just plodding on as usual!

OP posts:
cinnamongreyhound · 15/07/2016 20:18

He's waking at some point between 9.30pm and 5am and always for at least an hour at a time. No idea what's up with him as he's not bunged up anymore but he's so distressed.
This week has sucked! Ds2 has tonsillitis, ds1 has fallen out with his friend who is accused him of all sorts that I just don't believe he'd do. I've been very unpopular at school due to governor issues and then I've been being violently sick for 2hrs this evening and suspect I've been food poisoned. Then I have upset one of the nicest people I know totally unintentionally and probably caused trouble for another lovely person I know. I am sitting on the sofa feeling shit and crying! I should not be near people at all Sad

On the plus side relationship wise things are good and I'm hoping that we only have one or maybe two sessions of counselling left.

PenguinPoser · 15/07/2016 20:53

Oh gosh cinnamon sending hugs! (Whilst trying not to catch any sicky germs!!)
I hope whatever has happened this evening is sortable - I know you wouldn't intentionally upset anyone and hopefully they know that too Flowers
Fingers crossed everyone is feeling better soon

All sorted with my friend. Was very washed out Saturday but had a lovely day Sunday which was nice. Everyone well and sleeping all night for the last two nights!!!

Hope everyone else is well x

cinnamongreyhound · 25/07/2016 08:58

Really starting to feel like I would another baby now, this is not good! Sad

cinnamongreyhound · 01/08/2016 16:17

How is everyone?

Wineandchoccy · 20/08/2016 23:05

Hi, I have not been on here for a while life and work getting in the way. How is everyone?
DD is teething again it's never ending, we finally have walking as well she started a couple of weeks ago but in the past couple of days has got very confident they are growing up far to quickly. She is talking more as well and her new favourite game is hiding behind the curtains and saying boo Grin
DH is out tonight so will probably be rough tomorrow so I hope the weather is better and DD and I can go for a walk and play in the park.

cinnamongreyhound · 26/08/2016 21:48

I'm good now thanks wineandchoccy! We had about 4 weeks in total of on and off illness which led to about 4 full nights sleep in a month!!! We are sleeping now and pretty much running! Ds3 is also saying loads now, I was saying to dh I was worrying he didn't say anything and literally a week later he was saying loads! Unfortunately he's now calling me my name rather than mummy Sad. Sorry you've had rubbish weather, it's been lovely here. We have been off work this week which has been lovely and we're going away to Kent tomorrow for a week.

cinnamongreyhound · 05/09/2016 23:00

Hi Cinnamon.

How's it going? Glad DS3 is sleeping better now and talking lots. T has started walking too and it's very amusing watching his little zombie walk. He still crawls a bit but more often than not if he falls over he stands himself back up rather than crawling.

Fab news on things improving with DH.

Glad you're all OK x

PenguinPoser · 22/09/2016 10:03

Hi cinnamon and anyone else who might still be here! How are things? Did you have a nice holiday? I've been really busy with starting new job which I'm finding quite stressful but still finding my feet really so hopefully will improve with time.
