Rain rain rain rain today! at least the weekend was ok and we managed some playground trips...
we just took it easy. A is grumpy and not sleeping well as her molars are popping out... the top ones have bits out but the bottom ones are still just lumps, poor puppy

cinnamongreyhound · 02/06/2016 08:15

I think ds3 is going to get his molars before he gets the next incisors TinyTear, there are bumps at the back but no sign at the front, he still only has 4 teeth!

I'm a fed up of this weather!!!! Miserable 10C, drizzly and then down pours, strong winds and did I mention miserable?!?

Ds3 is back to his normal self now which is great! We talked quite a lot about my childhood at counselling last night. I still feel that we haven't talked about dh and his colleague but with everything going so well I don't want to upset things but really do think I need to. He is so much more loving towards we and we haven't argued at all for a couple of weeks, we're communicating loads better but he doesn't want to dtd. I know that would suit others but I've always wanted to more than him anyway and now it's non existent. I can't put it together in my mind that when he was so angry with me he was happy to and now he doesn't want to, other than that he now feels guilty as he realises I didn't deserve him to confide in another woman? Or is it just that he's got loads going on in his head with lots of realisations that he just doesn't feel like it?

PenguinPoser · 04/06/2016 19:15

I wish I knew cinnamon. Are you able to talk to him about dtd? It does sound like things are getting there with some aspects but it's a shame that one isn't at the moment.
It's generally been a bit miserable weather here too compared to what others have been having. Hoping it's nice next week. DD only has 4 teeth too cinnamon! No sign of any more yet. But the last 3 came in quick succession so no doubt others won't be far away. What's everyone doing this weekend?

i had a 4th birthday party for DD1 but meant we could take DD2 to the soft play as well. she loved the ball pit...

cinnamongreyhound · 06/06/2016 15:35

The sun is shining! Doesn't it make everything seem easier?

Yay for the ball pit TinyTear! Ds3 isn't too sure, he likes one that we've been to where there aren't even enough balls to cover the bottom but he can throw the ones that are there!

He says he doesn't know penguinposer, just says he worried he can't get it up so won't try ConfusedSad.

We went to take a form for mil to sign Saturday which involves 4.5hrs driving but we did go on the beach and have fish and chips. Sunday we went to a classic car show so I had some very bored ds's and a very happy dh!

We have two more teeth, both top first molars have popped out!

Wineandchoccy · 07/06/2016 22:38

Yeah for the new teeth, dd got her 1st molars at the top last week and I think the bottom are about to erupt the gum is looking very red. It's a never ending process this teething business!

The weather has been gorgoeus here but the forecast isn't as good from tomorrow and typically we go away next Friday.

I'm glad ds3 is ok now cinnamon the counselling must be really difficult and must be stirring up things with both of you I hope things improve for you.

PenguinPoser · 08/06/2016 20:33

That's a long drive cinnamon! Hope it wasn't too bad. The fish and chips seem to make it worthwhile! Yay for more teeth as well! DD doesn't have any more yet she's stuck at 4 at the moment.

Tinytear I keep meaning to go back to soft play, DD loves it, me not so much! Might go on Friday when I have a whole day with her.

Where are you off on holiday Wineandchoccy?

OP posts:
Wineandchoccy · 09/06/2016 08:18

We are going to Scarborough so hope the sun is shining on the east coast Smile
I enjoy soft play when it is quiet but at the weekends it is my idea of hell.

I gave dd some organix cereal puffs this morning that I got as a free sample it went everywhere I won't be buying them and dd looked at them very suspiciously!

cinnamongreyhound · 10/06/2016 23:46

We've had two steps this week!!!!! He put his hands out to dh and dh moved back slightly and he took to independent steps towards him! Nothing more since.

I went to beWILDerwood yesterday with ds2 so ds3 went to my mums for the day, wouldn't sleep but he was happy all day. She was half an hour late dropping him back and I couldn't get hold of her so had a mini panic!

Wineandchoccy · 11/06/2016 11:07

Yeah he will be walking very soon! Dd is very close to walking but no independent steps as yet.

I hate it when my Mum or MIL are late fetching her back I wear the carpet out hovering near the front door Grin im glad he was ok though.

We are going food shopping and to a baby sale to see if they have a buggy for our holidays and a stair gate. We are having pizza and watching England tonight I may have a 90 minute nap!

Hope you are ok cinnamon and have a good weekend x

brummagem · 12/06/2016 11:34

Great news on DS3 #cinnamon both kidney and walking! All good! I'm currently in baby jail with a weird freaky looking eyes half open but definitely asleep DS. Hope everyone is enjoying the weekend x

cinnamongreyhound · 13/06/2016 21:46

How did shopping go WineandChoccy?

I'm good thanks, we're having mostly ups with a few downs! Ds3 is much happier at the moment, although still restless most evenings which isn't great for us having time together. I have a manic week and had issues with parkrun the last two weeks which has made me feel a bit sad as parkrun is my happy time and makes me think the world is all rosey! Ds3 had his blood test today and his glucose is fine, phew!

We had a fab weekend, Saturday night meal out. Strawberry picking Saturday day and trampoline park Sunday which was knackering and challenged my pelvic floor!!!
Hope everyone else is good x

Wineandchoccy · 14/06/2016 20:51

Hi cinnamon I'm glad ds3 blood test was ok and it sounds like you had a lovely weekend, I would eat way to many strawberries on my way round!

The baby sale wasn't very successful everything was overpriced I just wanted a umbrella fold buggy for our weeks holiday in decent condition but the ones that were there were dirty or falling apart. I bought dd some books though she loves the Mog books and spends ages pointing at the cat pictures.
She isn't very well she has had a reaction to her mmr vaccine that she had 12 days ago she is covered in a rash, snotty, eyes are very gunky, grumpy & clingy and no appetite poor thing is very miserable. Hopefully she will be better by Friday for our holiday X

cinnamongreyhound · 17/06/2016 12:24

How's dd now wineandchoccy? Have a fab holiday Smile

Wineandchoccy · 20/06/2016 20:42

Dd is much better thanks cinnamon rash finally went on Saturday and her eyes were ok this morning it was a long week with her not being 100%. We are on holiday now in Scarborough, we are hoping to go to the beach tomorrow if the weather is ok.

How are you and the boys? Hope you had a nice weekend X

PenguinPoser · 20/06/2016 22:48

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing - miss you cinnamon. How is ds coming on with walking now? Pleased his bloods were OK. DD has started walking in the last week it's so cute Smile

cinnamongreyhound · 21/06/2016 07:33

wineandchoccy Oh yay! Well for your holiday perfect! Enjoy the beach, it's looking a much better forecast for today now, here anyway. The boys are good, ds1 is becoming a stroppy teen at 9, problems with dss but dh and I are working together which makes it much easier. His mum is letting him do literally whatever he wants, every time he's due to come here he's ill it has something much more important, then when he's being a pita she's on the phone to dh to sort it! Ds2 is his usual full on self and ds3 is well and happy at the moment and I think gained about 400g this month Shock

Ahh penguinposer, that's sweet, you too! I often think of all the cute photos and news I'm missing too! He's very confident with one hand now and cruising well, we've had a few odd steps but he's not confident enough yet!

PenguinPoser · 22/06/2016 06:16

If you ever want to come back cinnamon please do. It's not the same now but we still have places to share and support each other Smile
Sounds like you and DH are doing well with dss despite his mums unhelpful attitude. Glad you're able to work together more.

I have no idea why I'm awake since 5.30. So much going on in my head so actually probably that. I have my final supervisor review today before my end of training panel so I need him to sign me off. And I've got a decent job offer for September but it's a fair commute away and It's all so scary. Plus I'm decorating the bathroom and annoyed cos the house is a mess!

OP posts:
TinyTear · 22/06/2016 09:49

Great new on job offer Penguin x

cinnamongreyhound · 22/06/2016 12:24

Are you still able to work part time penguinposer? Commuting sucks but it is some time to yourself to prepare for the day if you can look at it like that.
Are there still two groups or just the one. I guess it was inevitable that it would change as things in our lives diverged.

TinyTear · 22/06/2016 15:09

There's now three Grin
You are welcome to join any of them... I am only on two...

I like my commute as my reading time, but i take a train, I'm not driving

sodorisland · 23/06/2016 08:27

Hey everyone just catching up.

Great that he's taken steps cinnamon.

The groups you were in before are still there :) let us know if you want to rejoin.
It's nice to hear from you again.

Penguin great on the job offer :)

cinnamongreyhound · 27/06/2016 13:57

How was everyone's weekend?

I was rd at parkrun and the boys all came down afterwards. Then we had a relaxed day at home which means me being left on my own while the kids are on electronic things and dh is in the garage yay! He got upset with me over lunch which turned into a huge row (I knew he was being arse and should have stepped away!) we sorted it but once the kids were in bed he seemed to not be able to forget it so it was a shit evening. He was better in the morning and I had a race which we had a good journey too, he then got the car stuck in a muddy field Sad he was pretty good actually. I ran and we went back to it, they had arranged a tow so we got out and went to the beach as planned. Was lovely and ds3 is finally ok being on the sand Grin he's standing more and more now so hopefully will be walking unaided very soon!

TinyTear · 27/06/2016 14:22

i had a birthday party for DD1 on sat but it was a small one in her friend's house so DH stayed with DD2 at home and both napped together - ahhhh Grin

yesterday we went to visit the school DD1 will start in in September. we will miss the open day but they were having their summer fair so we went in and she saw her potential classrooms (there are two) and went on the bouncy castle

Wineandchoccy · 27/06/2016 20:41

Sorry you had a row cinnamon I hope you are ok now. Dd wasn't sure about the sand on holiday at first it was like she was superglued to the spot she just sat in one spot for ages Grin

Wow starting school tinytear the speed at this past year has gone it won't be long before we are looking at schools!

We went to a family fun day on Saturday and Mr Bloom was there dd was fascinated and I knew all the words to the songs Blush
Sunday we went to a craft fair I carried dd in her sling for ages I was shattered last night.

I'm bloody nervous tonight I am doing a presentation for work tomorrow in front of 150 delegates I feel a bit sick at the thought!
