Back to work blues today! As arrived yesterday after just over two months too so I feel the rage! Not been too bad they're just getting noisy now. Ds3 has been a pain going to sleep recently and its starting to make me cross with him Sad

cinnamongreyhound · 04/01/2016 17:04

Of course my phone autocorrected af to as!

Babiecakes0435 · 04/01/2016 19:35

Oh cinnamon I hope your resting tonight and tomorrow is a day.

I'm currently trying to sort out travel arrangement I had already sorted :/ it's making me stressed about travelling.

Wineandchoccy · 04/01/2016 22:57

Oh no cinnamon I have only had 2 periods since having dd but they have both been awful with horrendous back ache and I could fall out with somebody just by looking at them! I hope it is better tomorrow x

babiecakes that's rubbish can you ask the travel company for help?

I have had a nice normal day back to just me and dd day following the Christmas stress, we have eaten normal food at the usual times and she has had good long naps so I hope we are back in a routine again. I think she is teething again though as her left cheek has been bright red all day. We are meeting a group of Mums from 1 of the baby groups tomorrow we are trying a new music & story session at the library and then going for coffee & cake and on Wednesday I am going to a new sensory class.

cinnamongreyhound · 05/01/2016 12:51

Oh no, what happened babiecakes0435?

Today is better for cramps but really heavy. Had to empty my moon cup half way through a 2hr toddler group despite changing it before I left home! Kids went to school happily all littlies happy and just sitting in laundrette waiting for my sleeping bag that the dog vomited on and we're off home for lunch!

Your groups sound good wineandchoccy! And cake is always good Smile

cinnamongreyhound · 06/01/2016 11:15

Hmmm yesterday went very smoothly, today has gone to plan so far. Always makes me worry something bad is coming!

Wineandchoccy · 06/01/2016 21:24

I have been to a local village baby group today which was nice I was supposed to be going to a sensory class but read the info this morning and doesn't actually start until next week!
We went to the library rhyme time yesterday and dd joined the library and got her 1st books out of the library we had a lovely snuggle this morning reading them she doesn't do cuddles now so it was lovely Smile

I'm glad you have had 2 good days cinnamon I hope it continues x

Babiecakes0435 · 06/01/2016 22:18

Glad you've had a few good days cinnamon.

Wine sounds lovely cuddling reading a book, opps about the class.

Travel arrangements still aren't clear I know I can get there I have no idea how I am though, they've closed the line I needed which means I will have a huge detour but I'm excited to go, not excited of carrying dd/hold-all/back-pack and car seat so hoping they don't make me change over to much.

cinnamongreyhound · 07/01/2016 14:39

Ds3 seems to be gaining an interest in some books now wineandchoccy, it's lovely! My big two are library members but ds3 isn't yet. We visit the library at least once a week Smile I love it. We have some books I bought as ds1 just kept renewing them no matter how much I tried to get him to have new ones!

cinnamongreyhound · 09/01/2016 22:14

This week has been mainly good. Ds3 is back to going to sleep at bedtime reasonably easily. Boys got star of the week in guitar lesson and tea at 3 (cake with the head teacher for doing something good in the week) so they're happy. Dh and I still haven't had a fight since 27th Dec. Keeping my paperwork super up to date in expectation of my Ofsted visit and off to panto tomorrow with all my family. Also got a pbpb (post bump personal best) at parkrun. Only downside is babysitting tonight but I agreed to it months ago, kids weren't too bad and I brought little man with me. Soooooo looking forward to my week off in Feb Smile

cinnamongreyhound · 13/01/2016 21:30

How is everyone?

Wineandchoccy · 14/01/2016 11:25

I'm good cinnamon are you ok?
It's freezing here today and very windy I'm just waiting for dd to wake from her nap then I'm going to Mothercare to change a Christmas pressie that is on the wrong sized hanger.
It's my nephews birthday tomorrow and we are going for tea so I don't need to cook tomorrow and it was my nieces birthday yesterday and on Sunday we are going bowling which I am absolutely rubbish at but we are going to find a pub/carvery on the way home as long as they do broccoli and Yorkshire puddings dd will be happy!

cinnamongreyhound · 14/01/2016 13:31

Yes good thank you, I feel quite on top of everything at the moment. Ds3 was up 10.45-12.45 crying last night Sad I've put it down to his cold but he also has a new tooth. Woke up very happy this morning and napping now. I was terrible and kept my mindee up this morning (mainly because we were out and he was entertained as I had arranged for a pushchair for him to nap in if needed) so I now have one at nursery and 2 sleeping which never happens these days so I'm doing nothing rather than getting on at present! Enjoy your celebrations Smile

cinnamongreyhound · 18/01/2016 14:27

Good weekends everyone?

Wineandchoccy · 01/02/2016 22:14

How is everyone? It's very very windy here so I hope it doesn't wake dd. We have been to a baby group today there were 3 new babies all 3 weeks ish old they were lovely but the Mums all had horrifying birth stories so I don't think I want another just yet because that bit hasn't been erased from my memory.

cinnamongreyhound · 04/02/2016 13:13

My second was much easier than the first wineandchoccy! Third not so much but it wasn't until I was in hospital about to be induced that midwives kept telling me how 'tricky' third babies are Sad

Wineandchoccy · 04/02/2016 20:02

Yes my Mum had really easy births with my 2 brothers but a horrible birth with me and I didn't sleep either!
I don't know how tonight is going to go she is asleep for now but has only had 1 nap today I have been shopping with my Mum today for clothes for when she starts nursery. She is just to nosy so will not sleep when we are out and about she wouldn't eat much tonight because she was so tired so I am expecting her to wake at some point.
I am meeting a group of Mums to go for a walk tomorrow we are all trying to get fit before we all go back to work so are meeting every week and power walking with the prams we must look a sight 13 of us walked last week!

cinnamongreyhound · 08/02/2016 13:01

How was your group wineandchoccy! Had an emotional weekend and dh is back to work today which I'm finding hard. Still got a super snotty baby but no high temp so hoping its on its way out.

Wineandchoccy · 08/02/2016 23:02

Hi cinnamon I hope you are ok? I hope he is better soon x
Our walk was good very muddy though the pram was filthy when I get home.
We went to a soft play centre with DH on Saturday which was nice I sat and drank hot chocolate whilst he entertained dd.
I am annoyed today we went to a baby group and a woman was there with her 6 month old dd and it was messy play she stripped her dd down to her nappy and then said at the top of her voice oh I think she has chicken pox she has been grumpy and I saw these spots earlier! Her back was covered in spots but what I saw they were not crusty and her dd didn't look unwell but you could see the rest of the group all looking at each other and packing their things pretty quick. I hope it is not chicken pox but not a lot we can do about it if it is Angry

cinnamongreyhound · 09/02/2016 09:38

Oh no wineandchoccy! My personal experience is that chicken pox is easier with younger ones but it's very annoying as she must have known. Incubation period is 2 weeks so if you went last week you would have been just as likely to catch, not that that excuses the mum.

I'm ok, having a lot of internal battles right now. Which I could go back and not have seen what I saw! Other than snot ds3 is fine and slept all night last night, shame I didn't Sad

Wineandchoccy · 09/02/2016 21:27

I hope things get easier for you and I am glad ds3 is ok apart from being snotty. Take care and if you need to moan you know where I am X

Dd is teething she has been rubbing her ears and she is very dribbly and has a sore bum, she has had nappy free time and to say she can't crawl yet she still managed to wee in 2 places even with a towel down! She is covered in metanium so I hope it looks better tomorrow.

No sign of chicken pox yet!

cinnamongreyhound · 11/02/2016 10:08

Hope the nappy free time and metanium does the trick.

Each day is a roller coaster tbh, just when I think it'll all be ok he does something else that makes me doubt him again Sad we re going away now for half term so should give us some time together which will hopefully help, maybe!

Wineandchoccy · 11/02/2016 16:17

Grumpy baby here, we should have been going swimming but thought the chlorine might not help her sore bum so I have been for a long walk and she has had 2 long naps and she has just woke up in a better mood she only wants milk though not interested in food. I have just bought a little pull along truck with wooden bricks in a charity shop for £1 which she is bashing away at happily.

I hope the time together helps sort things out one way or another. where are you going? Are all of you going?
We are looking to go away in June just thinking of a caravan holiday in the UK should need to pack slightly less than last years holiday but I am still on Mat leave so looking for a bargain!

Are you planning anything for ds3 1st birthday? We are just having family to ours and on the invite just saying drop in between 2-5 for cake and if the weather is ok play in the garden. We have just had 2 invites for babies who were in our antenatal class so making me doubt my plans, 1 has hired the soft play centre at £8 per child and the other has hired a village hall with travelling petting zoo, my plans seem very boring but she will have no idea.

cinnamongreyhound · 11/02/2016 18:25

Argh just wrote massive post and lost it!
We are the same with decreased eating and increased milk with loads of snot!

We've got a converted barn between ilfracombe and minehead, it's only two bedroom and quite small but in the summer is over £1k a week so Hoping its a nice place (£320 for a week in Feb).

We've been getting on well but had quite a few fallings out/long talks over the last two weeks. Giving each other more time has been great but he's still messaging the woman and he has changed his phone pin and is deleting emails as soon as he's sent them. That saves the heartache but it doesn't give me a hell of a lot of trust right now. I have to let it go and focus on us and hope that that's enough. I have too much to lose to walk away from him over this and I love him but I hope it doesn't come back to bite me when I find his feelings have got stronger and he decides to be with her. I'm so exhausted by the emotion and I haven't had a lot of sleep as I've been thinking too much, we've been talking late into the night or ds3 has been up due to his cold so looking forward to a rest. Slightly anxious about him sneaking about to contact her while we're away as that would ruin it totally for me!

cinnamongreyhound · 11/02/2016 18:27

Oh yes and birthday, I had more friends with babies with ds1 so invited them but it's likely just to be family this time around and almost certainly a bbq as dh loves a bbq. His family may not make it as his neice is getting married the following Saturday so they'll be busy!

I miss everyone in the group and I'm thinking of coming back. I need to be careful as I get so compulsive over it and feel that I need to answer everyone's posts and having time away from our phones/laptops has been good for us as a couple so don't want to stop that.
