I'm still trying to work out who phoenix was in a previous life.

Today has been mixed. Minuses included having a wasted journey to the drs to get DS last jabs. She wouldn't do them as he is a bit out of sorts and had a slightly high temp. Plus side was DSIS taking E to a play group this morning so I had a couple of hours peace. Unfortunately I spent most of that time cleaning the oven but I did squeeze in a hot cup of tea.

Zamboni · 19/05/2015 18:31

Good luck moving Pass.

Our run of bad luck continues. I was working in Brussels Thursday - Sunday on a conference which included almost no sleep and way way WAY too much Winebut have come back to everyone ill again. S's bowels seem to be liquified and DD is threatening to puke all the time. They are both being really good about it but I feel quite helpless. DH can't keep water down but I can't take time off work due to things going on there so instead of recovering from Brussels with plenty of sleep am nursemaid-ing around work and otherwise MIL is being a superstar. Urgh. It will be fine and I think it is just bugs but always happens at the least convenient time.

Anyway, enough moaning from me. What else is new? Also don't have a clue about Phoenix I'm afraid.

Zamboni · 19/05/2015 18:31

Pikz Thanks

ThePhoenixRising · 19/05/2015 19:10

Look at the initials eliza ;)

Hugs pikz and zamboni

Zamboni · 19/05/2015 21:31

Hi Phoenix Smile

Looks like DH and I shall be fighting for bathroom occupation rights all night... Hmm

BigPigLittlePig · 19/05/2015 22:54

Oh no Zamboni. You poor things.

Temporarily lost you all. Scandalous.

Well done on hot cuppa, Eliza.

2 night shifts then am off work for 10 days. Thank goodness!

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/05/2015 08:57

Ah gotcha. Thought I hadn't seen you about on here for a bit. Nor wanda.

zamboni Hope you got through the night unscathed.

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/05/2015 08:58

I mean grace. I know wanda was an old name. Pah.

Zamboni · 20/05/2015 10:48

Sadly not. Off work, DH has taken the DC to PIL. Trying to work whilst embracing the porcelain. A new low.

Elizadoesdolittle · 20/05/2015 15:50

I hate any sickness that involves the toilet. Hope it's just a 24 hour thing.

ThePhoenixRising · 20/05/2015 16:28

Hope you manage to get some rest zamboni

Elizadoesdolittle · 21/05/2015 22:13

Well E did 4 days omeprozale free but the sickness returned today so she'll be back on it tomorrow. She was spitting up mucus yesterday so I wasn't surprised that she started bringing up food today. Bit disappointed but at least she's on a fairly low dose now I guess.

Lily311 · 22/05/2015 14:58

Hello,

I forgot my password. Than suddenly remembered today.

O has been at home for 2 weeks now, first tummy bug now ear infection. Last assignment due next Thursday and I haven't even opened my books. I need a pass to get my degree. Single parenting sucks.

On good news, she learnt to do puzzles, she can now easily do 16 pieces ones. And recognises most of the letters in the alphabet and counts to 20.

ThePhoenixRising · 23/05/2015 20:36

Eurovision anyone? We are chatting on FB.

Pikz · 24/05/2015 18:42

Yay for bank holidays

BigPigLittlePig · 24/05/2015 22:18

I know Pikz! Yay for a whole week off work on annual leave - the first full week off in a Very Long Time.

Boo to accidental foot sunburn yesterday at the beach though, that's a bit stingy if I'm honest.

ThePhoenixRising · 25/05/2015 18:16

I remember once on the south coast of France shivering most of the day in the mistral winds forgetting that the sun was still as strong and getting my feet burned in my flipflops. Ouch.

BigPigLittlePig · 25/05/2015 22:08

Yep, have done that before, with interesting (striking, even) tan lines that were impossible to even out.

We have had a glorious day today, just the 2 of us, playing in the garden, watching the steam train, cutting the grass, etc. Shame that her parting words to me as I was about to leave her bedroom for the evening were "go WAAY mummy," Grin

Elizadoesdolittle · 26/05/2015 18:34

Sounds like you're having a lovely break bplp.

Building work has commenced here. Am excited and bricking it (parden the pun) in equal measure.

BigPigLittlePig · 26/05/2015 19:57

It is lovely, Eliza. Normally, i have 2 days a month that are for me, dh and F, if I'm lucky. So this is a blessing.
