Morning quiche. Back to my desk here. I have decided to do another couple of modules from my course provider plus I need to write some blog posts etc so WHY AM I ON MUMSNET?

Elizadoesdolittle · 27/04/2015 10:53

Welcome back gg

StuntNun · 27/04/2015 22:09

D&V here. Confused Not the best thing to have with a cluster-feeding baby. I have to leave him crying to go and be sick. And James flat out refused to go to bed tonight too.

BigPigLittlePig · 27/04/2015 22:30

Oh stunt, Sad Thanks

Truly that is the pits.

StuntNun · 28/04/2015 07:31

I seem to be over it now apart from feeling wiped out. J flat out refused to go to bed last night so I left him sitting on the sofa as he was 'too busy' to go to bed. I thought he would fall asleep there but he was still awake at 10 p.m.

Elizadoesdolittle · 28/04/2015 20:14

Ouch stunt I remember having that with DD1 when she was 3 months. my in laws had her for the day after the dire night. can't imagine having it with 4 to look after. Hope you are ok.

StuntNun · 28/04/2015 21:49

I'm on the mend thanks Eliza. I got an afternoon nap and I'm off to bed early. DH is back from China tomorrow, I really hope he doesn't get it too.

Elizadoesdolittle · 28/04/2015 22:10

Sleep tight x

Elizadoesdolittle · 29/04/2015 13:54

Building work was due to start next week but looks like it will be delayed due to miscommunication between just about everyone. Keep telling myself a couple more weeks won't matter considering I've waited just over a year but I'm finding everything so frustrating. I have a feeling there will be a hell of a lot of ranty posts in the coming months from me so apologies in advance.

pikz I think we are having similar to you done. Any tips for how to live in a building site Grin

Passmethecrisps · 29/04/2015 20:48

I lost you all!!!

BigPigLittlePig · 29/04/2015 21:55

Oh no, Eliza, how frustrating. Bet part of you wishes you could just fast forward 6 months!

How are you feeling now Stunt? Have the boys avoided d&v?

I'm so tired. Fought off sleep during a v slow day at work, nodded off in the bath with F, and just woke up in her bed. Must have fallen asleep before she did Blush

StuntNun · 30/04/2015 06:54

BigPig DS2 came down with it last night. In our bed. Hmm

StuntNun · 30/04/2015 09:53

And apparently on DH's work laptop which is now fried due to vom in the vents. ConfusedConfusedConfused

BigPigLittlePig · 30/04/2015 16:59
Envy
Pikz · 30/04/2015 18:14

Oh noooo everyone get better soon

Elizadoesdolittle · 30/04/2015 22:44

There's nothing worse than vom bugs.

I love my builder. He told me to stop worrying about things. That there's a lot they can do without the building regulations needed and that he'll sort it all out for me.

How's everyone's omeprozale reduction going? E is now on 7mg in the morning and so far so good. Going to try stopping it completely in the next couple of weeks. If that goes ok i'll be starting dairy trials.

BigPigLittlePig · 01/05/2015 08:10

We got down to 10mg Eliza but then her sleep went to pot completely, so back on 15mg. And for now at least, she is sleeping better. Glad the builder is positive.

Nearly the weekend. Thank goodness.

YellowWellies · 01/05/2015 08:18

Eliza we're off omeprazole but still dairy free Sad

YellowWellies · 01/05/2015 08:18

Eliza we're off omeprazole but still dairy free Sad

Elizadoesdolittle · 01/05/2015 09:31

That's good about the lack of meds yw. I know E can tolerate a small amount of dairy due to accidental dairy trials but I have a feeling she will have to largely remain on a dairy free diet for quite some while.

bplp At least you know that when sleep goes to shit you can just whack up the dosage again. Hope you're able to try and reduce it again soon.

YellowWellies · 01/05/2015 12:30

Eliza yes Jonas can take occasional slip ups but once we tried the milk ladder (regular doses of small amounts of dairy) after 10 days of small amounts of cooked dairy (a digestive biscuit, and then a mini muffin every day) he stopped eating altogether, nappies went to runs, behaviour went feral, night wakings started again, eczema and sour breath returned. He just can't take a build up of it. I'm not going to force him back onto it if it'll cause FTT and long term gut damage. We'll try again every 6 months.

Elizadoesdolittle · 01/05/2015 17:49

Hmmm I see what you mean yw. It's the milk ladder we will be doing too. I am very weary of gut damage and her nappies aren't great at the best of times! Going to be fun Hmm

What's everyone's bank holiday weekend plans? I will mainly be sorting and clearing out the garage. But I'll also be taking DD1 to an American diner tomorrow after swimming with my friend and her DD and on Monday I'll take the kids to a may day fête at a local stables where there will be horse shows and pony rides. I thought of O lily when i saw it and gg's girls. Oh and I'm also squeezing in a trip to the cinema for me to see far from the madding crowd. So not too bad I guess.

StuntNun · 04/05/2015 06:53

The April 2015 babies thread is chock full of mamas complaining about cluster feeding and babies refusing to sleep anywhere but on them so I'm just going to whisper here that DS4 slept through, in his cot no less!

BigPigLittlePig · 04/05/2015 20:52

Oh yay Stunt! Hell, shout it, don't just whisper! What about the other boys?

Pikz · 04/05/2015 21:48

Woweee stunt!
