That's so annoying about the order gunshot hopefully it will turn up in time.

I have 2 hours after work tonight to get packed for weekend in London and friends wedding, clean animals out, clean house and pack!Confused Oh and get O bathed and ready for bed before we leave! Eek!

Felix that's quite funny. No tricks played here.

GunShotResidue · 02/04/2015 16:21

Amazon order has arrived and leave is still on. Much less stressed now.

Nature that sounds hectic! I hope you have a good weekend :)

FelixFelix · 02/04/2015 23:05

Eek GSR & Nature! Hope you both managed to get sorted and it's not been too stressful.

So sleep training time has arrived and it's not going well. S started whinging at about 9.45 and was doing her shouty cry on and off 45 mins. I went in to her room and sat on the chair shushing her which made her hysterical. I'm still sat here now and she's only just laid down and sort of calmed down a bit. I keep thinking she's going to go to sleep but then she cries again. I'm so stressed!! I think it's going to be a lot tougher than last time.

And now she's stood up again and just chucked her comforter, muslin square and dummy on the floor Confused

TobyLerone · 02/04/2015 23:33

Eek, felix, it's awful isn't it?

M is in our room tonight and was last night too because DD1 is here, so she needed M's room. M's back in her own room tomorrow so I'll be carrying on with the 'not giving in and feeding her for as long as possible' thing. Can't do it while DD1 is her because she is such a light sleeper that she'd never get any sleep. DS sleeps right through the screaming every night!

FelixFelix · 02/04/2015 23:40

I'd love to be like your DS and sleep through the screaming Grin

She's still awake and doing the almost falling asleep followed by hysterical crying thing. I'm not going to give in though as this is literally my only chance to do it with DP's support (well, he's sat downstairs on his laptop but the thought is there!)

TobyLerone · 03/04/2015 06:35

How did it go in the end, felix?

M has been up.for an hour already. I took one for the team because it's DH's birthday so we're downstairs watching Dexter

GunShotResidue · 03/04/2015 09:39

That sounds rough Felix, i hope tonight is better!

DH took L last night and apparently she's been awake since 3, after waking hourly from midnight. We've been putting her down at 8 since the clocks changed hoping she wont be up as early. So she's had less than 7 hours sleep and is literally running from one side of the room to the other. I have no idea how she does it.

FelixFelix · 03/04/2015 10:33

Why are they all not sleeping?!

We gave her some water in a bottle and she went to sleep just after 12. She slept until 7.20 after that which is really good. We gave her water last time and she eventually stopped waking up for it so hopefully it will work again this time.

Swannykazoo · 03/04/2015 10:35

Hope it went ok Felix. I am so soft I don't think I could cope with more than about 5 mins screaming (hence I still have a toddler in my bed attached to my boob)
The top molars seem to be coming down as two ridges so there's a little island of gum about to get cut off - ouch!

Swannykazoo · 03/04/2015 10:38

PS: Am loving Dexter. Its the new Breaking Bad in our house. The "and previously" bits are a bit long though...

TobyLerone · 03/04/2015 11:42

That's brilliant, felix. M drinks gallons of water in the day but will not entertain the idea in the night.

Yes, puggle. And the sodding opening credits! Netflix is a bugger to fast forward accurately so I end up just sitting through them.

BookTart · 03/04/2015 19:49

I watched all of Dexter, and ended up liking the music because I saw the opening credits so often!

P woke at 5 and DH eventually managed to resettle her and she slept until 6. She's so overtired all the time, because she's not bloody napping in the day. I'm trying to be zen about it, but it's not really working.

Are people doing Easter eggs for the TBs? I've got P a tiny, dairy-free one, but I quite fancy eating it in front of the telly this evening...

FelixFelix · 03/04/2015 19:57

Book we haven't bought S anything. She's already got three eggs from family then will get another two on Sunday! I've been 'sharing' with her Grin I was going to get her a little bunny toy or something but decided there's no point as she's got so many toys already.

TobyLerone · 03/04/2015 20:32

I have bought M a Milky Bar cow to eat over the course of however long it takes. And my grandad bought her a pack of Malteser crack bunnies, but I think we might eat those. She got a brilliant alternative from DH's stepdad's mum today -- she did her a gift bag with some nice boxes of raisins and packs of yogurt covered dried fruit. She loves them!

FelixFelix · 03/04/2015 21:02

Toby the gift bag is a fab idea. I'm amazed that S has received so many eggs Shock it's very excessive for a 1yo. My DM told me to make rice crispy cakes with them.

TobyLerone · 03/04/2015 23:09

DD1 made rice krispie cakes yesterday. I have eaten about 10. We let M have one after her dinner yesterday. It was messy :o

FelixFelix · 04/04/2015 07:52

Another much better night last night. She went to bed at 7 with no hassle, woke up at 12 and had a bottle with some water in and slept right until 6.20 where she stirred on and off until she woke up properly at 7.30. I just need to work out how to get rid of that one bottle of water! She's so happy this morning though and we can really tell she's slept well. She keeps giving us kisses repeatedly Grin

Swannykazoo · 04/04/2015 10:29

Thought the sleeping was better (and it mainly is as he's going to bed at 8 and sleeping till 2 ish which is a significant improvement) but the pesky lower molar seemed to be causing a thrashing about boy. Not helped by the oncall phone call at 3 where I ended up worrying about having to go in to the hospital for about 45 mins before going back to sleep.
Thank god for the thread as I have bought two dairy free easter eggs for Hugh and I but had forgotten to buy DH one. That would have gone down v v v badly.

FelixFelix · 04/04/2015 12:26

Puggle sorry you had a bad night Sad I haven't bought DP one! He hasn't got me one either but I am on a diet so I'm kind of glad Grin

FelixFelix · 06/04/2015 19:54

I cannot get S to go to sleep! We were out this afternoon so she didn't get her usual lunch time nap and ended up napping from 3.30-4.30. Did usual bedtime routine and put her down at 7 as she was tired. She screamed for ages so I brought her back downstairs and she's still really tired so I have just put her back to bed and she's just screaming again. It's awful! I don't really know what to do Shock

TobyLerone · 06/04/2015 19:57

Ugh, felix. Sympathies.

FelixFelix · 06/04/2015 20:04

When I went up before she stuck her arms up for me to pick her up then gave me a kiss. It was so adorable and now I feel bad for leaving her screeching Grin

Also she's grown some weird attachment to two pairs of bunny ears my mum bought her for easter. She freaks out if she's not wearing a pair!! This is the same child who absolutely will not wear any sort of hat on her head, even when it's minus degrees outside.

FelixFelix · 06/04/2015 20:07

Ooh I think she's gone to sleep! Is she reading my posts?

TobyLerone · 06/04/2015 20:28

Aaawww. Bless her. When I go in to M in the night, if it's before 3am I refuse to feed her. I pick her up and cuddle her instead, and she breaks my heart trying to get me to feed her.

They're good at getting us to feel awful, aren't they?

FelixFelix · 06/04/2015 20:39

Aye, tiny bastards.
