I agree that life's too short to be unhappy at work. Could you do evening cleaning? Good money.

I'm going to London for the night today can't wait. Ds isn't too impressed though and is being really grumpy.

WLmum · 14/03/2015 07:49

Oh yes hales I forgot About the timing. Good idea spotty.

WLmum · 14/03/2015 07:50

What you doing there spotty? Have a fab time!

SpottyTeacakes · 14/03/2015 07:53

Going to meet my friend for lunch and cocktails, back to hers for pizza etc then out for more cocktails Grin

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 14/03/2015 09:43

Morning everyone.

That's shit Hakes, I've missed the back story. Is this your (formerly) nice boss who is also your landlord?

Have fun Spotty.

London killed me off yesterday. No food or water all day, locked in a basement office with no windows.

Ended up with a migraine throwing up on the train all the way from Euston.

Luckily j slept til 8:30 though so u slept it off.

SpottyTeacakes · 14/03/2015 09:44

Oh WillYou that sounds shit. How come you weren't fed and watered?!

I'm ready to go now just waiting. I'm wearing a necklace AND perfume! Grin

halestone · 14/03/2015 11:22

Spotty have a brilliant timeWine Wine Wine

Willyou, hope your feeling better nowThanks

And yes it was my formerly lovely boss (but luckily not landlord) shes been like this since i slept through when i was suppose to pick her up from the airport (a favour not part of my job). The thing is the minute she rang me i woke up and went to leave to pick her up straight away.

Oh how childish Hales, especially when someone is doing you a favour. Glad she's not you landlord too.

It was because the meeting started at 12, in a food/drink-free room. Oh well all better now.

halestone · 14/03/2015 21:29

coming home from work in tears means i am now full on job hunting and considering going on job seekers so that i don't have to go back.Sad

Oh hales. Do whatever you need to do honey. Are your work choices restricted because of H or do you have childcare available? You should be able to get a free apt with a national careers service advisor who would help you look at job hunting and options.

halestone · 14/03/2015 23:47

Pretty restricted because of H, i have rang a few close friends tonight amd put the feelers out, FX for good news.

Hales I don't think you can get job seekers if you've resigned Sad have you looked at supermarkets? They pay really well for night shifts.

I had a really good night but my legs are killing me. They hurt even on the best of days so after two hours solid of dancing I'm feeling pretty sorry for myself!

DeladionInch · 15/03/2015 08:44

hales ring ACAS tomorrow. you might have a case for constructive dismissal due to bullying?

MrsNutella · 15/03/2015 08:57

Hales that is awful! Is your boss the owner too? If not can you get in contact with them and raise a grievance perhaps?? I can understand just wanting to leave, and I don't blame you for that at all! But what she is doing to you is really really unfair and very unprofessional!
ThanksBrewWine For you and a big piece of Cake

Happy Mother's Day everyone!!ThanksThanksThanks

WLmum · 15/03/2015 11:39

delad she won't as she has under 2 years service. spotty I think it's 6 weeks til you can claim jsa. I agree with you re supermarkets - round here they're always after people for evening and night shifts, as well as delivery drivers.
hales would you qualify for a free 2 yo pre school place?
Happy Mother's Day everyone! DH left for work at 6.45 this morning but bless him he'd set stuff for the dds. He's a good egg.

WLmum · 15/03/2015 21:51

Been to visit dm tonight, she cried when I gave her the cards dd1&2 made her. They are missing each other loads. She should be coming home tom.

halestone · 15/03/2015 22:19

WL awww bet your Dds can't wait to have your DM back.

Sorry for not replying today, after alot ouf tossing and turning last night i have made the decision to completely ignore my boss and only speak to her if i have too. I'll just go in and work for my wage, but i am doing no extra work like i usually do.

I have had a lovely mothers day today at Alton Towers H loved it and only had one tantrum which was caused by tiredness.

Happy Mothers Day to all you fabulous mums. I hope you all had lovely days Wine Thanks for you all.

Hales head high attitude and ignore her definitely sounds like the right thing to do. Sorry she is being such a cunt so rude though!!

DS has reached a super challenging phase as DD has reached a super fun nocturnal alarm clock like state. She has woken every hour the last few nights Confused

Anyone want to borrow her for a week? She is otherwise lovely and lots of fun. She smiles a lot and weighs a ton and only gets whingey from about 4pm on.

WLmum · 16/03/2015 10:52

hales that sounds like a good plan. Either she'll realise she's being out of order and sort it out, or you'll be able to just grit your teeth until you're ready to leave.

WLmum · 16/03/2015 10:52

nutella I'll have her - I'm ready for anything since T has now slept through for 2 nights in a row!

ThreeFrazzledFandangos · 16/03/2015 11:41

Ha Nutella.

J slept through for the first time in a week last night. 13 solid hours, woke at 8am. I feel like Mary poppins!

Sorry she's still being a dick Hales, some people never grow out of high school bullying x

MrsNutella · 16/03/2015 13:59

wl great. I'll check out postage I'll send her tracked and insured with plenty of bananas for the journey

I am so tired I think the bags under my eyes have bags [yawn]

Frazzled yay for sleeping through!

Barbeasty · 16/03/2015 19:12

Lots of sleepy dust all round, and some don't be a twat dust for Hales' boss!

I ended up coming home from work early today after throwing up spectacularly in the office toilets. Feeling a bit weak and dizzy, hoping not to be sick again. DD has been ace- she got A out of his room to use the potty when he was whinging about needing a wee. He was better than usual too. He's really going through the terrible 2s.
